with europe uh teams have been faltering and not been as consistent as they were when we was having a great run and also we were following teams that were actually flying the pins got in their balloon we've got to find new teams to follow for the running now i've got pavlos who is our numbers and stats man he absolutely loves getting his nose down and dirty and the other one is roman and he is a la liga uh grand master he's a lot older than he actually looks but anything la liga for teams especially barcelona so that's why he's smiling so much he is our man but first of all pavlos it's been a tricky old week not just for spanish side but for most sides in general and now we've got a little bit of a break coming up so it's almost like do your best work this weekend and then you can have a rest yeah exactly well some of uh you know a lot of teams are gonna have a lot of players involved in international duty but uh yeah this is a great chance for all the other teams and uh all the other players to rest you know recover from injuries covet and whatnot so uh yeah i believe that we're gonna have a a lot more you know stable results after the international break uh of course who knows what's gonna happen there may be new injuries and new covert issues so it's just been a a weird you know season overall but we we were doing a great job up until uh possibly last week where we have this um you know a couple of weird actually a lot of weird results a lot of unders a lot of uh you know um stuff that no matter how big you dip you just can't predict maybe just uh if you had a gut feeling or something but uh yeah let's uh i'm looking forward to this week uh i think we got a couple of uh really great bets and i'm glad to talk to the mobile with you guys yeah listen there's a lot of good value out there and there's a lot of good match-ups as well and roman you are a man for match-ups because at this stage of the season we've got teams that are just going to jack it in because they're not going down they're not going to get in the europa league or champions league places and also squads are not long so if they get injuries to vital players then we need to be fading them yeah we have to be careful now because it's going into a complicated moment of the season where as you say you know some teams aren't going to perform as well they're going to struggle more others less we have to keep an eye out for to see if there's any any other trends as we've been catching in in previous months at the moment those kind of trends have faded away for now but i'm sure more are going to come up and we just have to keep an eye out and you know get on that train as soon as we see it okay let's have a little look at the records because the records were showing really healthy probably gone four and eight in my last 12 bets or maybe three and they and a push but i know that i was up at like 14 or 15 units so i'm main to blame uh pavlos is just head above the parapet looking club is at -135 a lot of people will be happy to go money line don't complicate it that's happening been a bit in and out last couple of weeks up plus 475 the draw is always a runner when these two get together at plus 240 but i'm really surprised roman that it's under over two with basically over two being at minus 105. yeah this is quite surprising i was i was pretty tempted to be honest with with that bet because i mean i think at least two goals we will get so in any case it would be a push uh but it's true that khattafi of late as you mentioned haven't been as good as they were uh when that new manager boost uh started off you know qatar were just rocketing up with the standings but they haven't gotten too far anymore because of course now they're lacking a bit those goals they haven't scored in uh too many in the last few games they're struggling to get a goal when unal was so on fire not so long ago you know he was doing really well they brought in mayoral in the winter transfer market he got a few goals as soon as he got there sandra was doing okay but now suddenly they're just struggling again an athletic club we know our strong team at home they're very intense they've had some good performances of late so i think it will be an interesting game and i honestly do expect to see at least a couple of goals in this one even though it's two teams which are maybe known uh for closing down pretty well the back but this season i think they haven't shined as much defensively and they're actually maybe even better in offensive tasks so i think we could see a couple of goals at least roman is it right for us to mention that it's a friday night game so we're going to see and hear um really really buoyant atmosphere yeah that's certainly a possibility and especially when it's at san mames i mean that's one of the stadiums where it's always buoyant you know there's always uh maybe not a full uh house but almost and we know that the fans in san mames are are very intense they like to support their team uh in the good and in the bad times so definitely that's going to be a favor a favorable aspect for the home side yeah i see this two one three one maybe even three nil have lost to the home side yeah could possibly be a three nil because uh hitapha they haven't you know even though they have their struggles overall they struggle even further on the road uh they have scored just seven goals on the road and three of those of course they came in the 4-3 loss to atletico madrid um they failed to score in half of their matches this season that's the most in the league they also failed to score in nine of their 14 away matches again the most in the league so they just uh very very poor on the road and uh now they're matched against the bilbao side that used to have very good defensive numbers not so great offensive numbers uh in the first half of the season but as we said they are in also in previous shows uh they switched something in their offense of course that came in the cost of defense uh because we now see them scoring a lot of goals um their offense is still the seventh worst offense uh with just 32 goals but uh they still have the seventh best home office with 22 goals so they uh they they started scoring goals at home uh but at the cost of defense because you know a couple of months ago or maybe even more uh we were talking about bilbao's uh you know strong defensive numbers xga numbers and actual uh considered goals and uh now they have the 10th worst xga allowing 1.4 per game um they still have the fourth best defense with 27 allowed and the sixth best home uh uh defense with uh fourteen allowed so uh very tough defensively um and uh ketafe i'm not so sure if they can score here maybe i'm tempted by hitapha not to score but this is a match where i just don't feel it's very stable so um i'm personally passing on everything but i wouldn't be surprised if the boss got to a couple of goals you know against the tafe maybe three of them could be could be i think that we might have our first parlay piece though we do like a parlay in la liga atletic club at minus 135 i've actually gone with the over two goals because i see atletico club winning a minimum of two nil but they can score goals or they can cause a threat and the one thing about atletic club is they over commit i mean they played against levante and won the free one all right levante scored in the 93rd minute as a consolation but they had two or three great chances first half to actually uh actually get on the scoresheet and take the lead i wouldn't be surprised here if that's fa do break away and get at least one and then obviously i think the over two is like it's a gimme i think though it's a free hit i do believe that we see at least two and i think that lady club do score two so the official picks i think i'm on my own i don't know you're uh pavlos you're getting involved in this game no no i might have something else okay over two goals minus 105 in the chat they just like uh absolutely club to win and also danny says it's a team total uh under so basically not to score and that is at minus 120. i hope they score and i hope that let the club win and it's minus 1 35 for the potential parlay piece move on to the second game because i think there's value here to be had because we've got a team at home who are Alaves vs Granada desperate and they're at plus 100 that's alabez versus granada and it's alavez at plus 100 granada on the road at plus 315. certainly not the team that you would see at home the draw at plus 220. these two there's nothing really to choose from uh between them that's why the draw is so tight to that magical plus 200 number but the over two and a half you think you're seeing three goals here it's at plus 125. pavlos do we see three goals but i like the home side getting the better of it yeah well traditionally these two whenever they play they produce a lot of goals they've only played seven matches over the years six of those also had um over two and a half goals and uh each of the last three matches in the past couple of years why do you think we're seeing plus 125 then uh no idea literally no idea possibly because uh these are very fairly weak offensive uh offenses uh alabas do have the worst offense with 21 goals the worst home offense with 10 goals while granada they have the fourth worst offense uh the fourth fourth worst away offense so possibly the bookmakers are just seeing two very bad offenses but what they might be missing is that they also have very bad defenses i mean uh alabas they have uh third worst uh defense uh six words home defense and granada they have the fourth worst difference so their bottom bottom four bottom five in in all you know defensive numbers so uh and uh this is a match that is actually a relegation battle with granada sitting just one point above the relegation zone uh three points above all of us so um this is gonna be a fight to the death uh so um yeah i don't think anyone's gonna you know uh sit back and try to get the mats uh because uh they just can't they just can't keep clean seats i mean if either team goes in front uh one goal then the other team will surely uh you know push for an equalizer and then they might consider another so yeah there's definitely gonna be goals here um i'm kind of scared about the draw that's why i took an alternative approach to this match but uh yeah i just don't see granada winning um this shouldn't be a low scoring match and uh yeah possibly both teams to score they're something like that but uh yeah it looks like goals this is probably the biggest biggest price on an over two and a half that i have actually seen um i could understand if it was like uh sort of under an under free or something like that but over two and a half goals is that plus 125 roman i'm i think you've got to be with a home side or nothing and when the home side is at plus 100 i mean even maybe a draw no bet would give you something but plus 100 for aloe vera against granada sign me up well the the record says that granada actually has a really good record against alaves it's a team they've done pretty well and also in the seven times they've played together in la liga it's never been a draw it's always been one side or the other uh winning the game but usually it's been in favor of granada and right now honestly i kind of see granada slightly better the other day against el chair uh they had some reason they're plus 315. yeah they're it's a great value i think uh of course you have to trust them it's two sides which are fighting for relegation and honestly they aren't reliable but i have a kind of a hunch you know that granada could get something out of this because i mean they look good against censor they had some very very good opportunities to just had a bit more precision i think they could have even got a good result out of the game but it's true that both sides at the moment one of the things they are lacking is goals i mean they're really struggling to score uh goals uh recently so i don't completely agree with pablo's even though it's true that defensively they're weak so maybe that could act as a counter effect so in any case being two sides which uh are in a desperate situation for me it's a bit too too unpredictable and i've kind of stayed away but i don't know i think that could maybe get something out of this is it fair to say that these two sides in past seasons have been in a lot better form and that's why the head-to-heads have showed so many so many goals granada listen granada were a force they were playing in the europa league like last season so i'm just wondering if those numbers are a little bit distorted and that's why they're getting sucked in with the plus 125 over two and a half but the bigger one for me is alavez if they score twice it's at plus 130 surely if they score twice they win the game um but again i could see a one nil maybe maybe one one it's a really really tough game but i've gone with the home side through desperation of the home side and in front of their home crowd and with granada not pulling up any trees on the road um the official pick is aloe vera's money line for me at plus 100 pavlos is sort of holding my hand but he's sort of behind me holding my hand because he's gone with alaves double chance and over one and a half at minus 120 he's just got that little bit of insurance policy that if a bullet's fired i'm getting it and he's using me as his shield okay let's move on let's move on to this third game because it's the biggest gift on la liga for me this Rayo Vallecano vs Atletico totally out for rayo vallicano have got big guns coming to town and it's their big guns coming to town or atletico madrid fresh off of their one-nil win at old trafford in the champions league midweek ray of alecano plus 300 should be plus 500 that atletico at plus 100 fill your boots because this side are full of confidence and they're scoring goals uh total under over two i think i'm not keeping many clean sheets that's why you're getting minus 140 for the over two but atletico could score three on their own but roman atletico to score twice is plus 130. i like that but when i'm getting atletico on the road against a team that i'm not winning really home or away plus 100 i'm in yeah i mean too flash i think it's a pretty good value especially take into account that atletico have really changed their form in the past few weeks we remember we were talking about them being such a poor side uh take into account the squad they had and and the capacity or potential this team had and it seems like finally they're kind of fulfilling it they're doing really well in la liga have a really good streak of wins at the moment uh playing much better than they were before and also uh that great game those two legs against manchester united qualifying for the next round it's definitely also a big boost of confidence for them they needed something like that and that's going to be very important for them and you know john felix for example he is shining of late i mean he's gone from being a sub to a starter because uh i mean he's scoring the goals and he's leading the team forward and also be good for them that they have correa nice and fresh for this game because he rested basically all of the second leg against united so that's another quality player who's been fantastic and they can uh really make use of so honestly it's true that rayo got a good result against sevilla maybe that was a bit unexpected and the bookies might be giving them less because of a better value because of that but i still think that railway kind of got a bit lucky in a way i mean sevilla should have should have gotten the win they had the better squad they they were in the better conditions like we're missing important players who will be back against atletico but still i don't think we'll see too many goals but i see atletico snatching it in the end pavlos when i said earlier about sides are not going to be in the champions league europa league all go down i was looking at ray of alecano because they started the season off a little bit shaky but then found their feet were strong and now they've gone a little bit the other way and it's almost like they're either running out of gas but because they think mentally the job is done atletico they still need their points yeah i think they've probably uh they're probably saved this season they're sitting at the middle of the table uh you know close to the bottom half 32 points eight points above the red zone with a matching hand so maybe they probably need a couple of wins maybe with 38 points you're rather safe in this laliga so um yeah since they didn't do well in the capitol ray since they they're not you know challenging one of the top six spots to to go to europe next season um and uh you know the the reason dip in form i don't know what what what's you know what's going on there but uh they've been terrible lately uh they weren't just um i think one of the last nine la liga matches dating back to early december and uh winless in the last eight including capitol ray with six losses in two draws um their offenses dipped uh they now have the fifth worst offense with 29 goals their difference has dipped uh they still have the seventh best difference with thirty thirty three considered it goes in the third best uh dividends at home with just ten consent goes but uh atletico madrid's numbers have been really weird this season they they they have the best uh away offense with 27 goals and the fifth worst uh weight difference with twenty three considered goals so we were using you know we were used to having having them you know the other way around they had a very good difference but not so good offers now this season we see something better from uh from them something different actually i'm not sure if it's better but uh if it works it works so uh yeah on the road they're coming off three consecutive uh wins the they beat us asuna betis and monster united these are uh you know especially monster united and betties are very very strong teams um of course they're kind of in a slump themselves so just take the results with a grain of salt um as far as this much goes i'm not so sure if there's gonna be a lot of ghosts maybe atletico could be you know a little bit tired um or maybe distracted from their triumphant monster i don't think that coach simeon is going to allow them to be distracted because he's a very very good and very professional coach maybe they paired it hard but now it's you know back to back to business so um if they don't win this one uh betis and real sociedad and quite possibly vrl are you know trying to uh steal that fourth spot from them so they should be very very careful careful moving on so i believe this this is a match where they they should probably win i mean all the numbers point to it at the trend point to it uh but the my only objection is uh if they're gonna have any extra tiredness from uh from vermont's in monster and you know all the trips uh but yeah this should be should be a fairly low scoring match yeah but as you can see from the right hand side the main reason is unbelievable value plus 100 i expect them to be minus money come kick off now have a little look severe play sociedad real madrid play barcelona this is a real opportunity because they know that two maybe even all four of their main rivals are gonna drop points i mean if the other two uh both games finish in draws and they win they've made up two points on every other team so for me i i cannot see anything other than an atletico professional performance and a plus 100 who cares one nil jog on let's have a little look at the official picks and by the way we're talking about joel felix he looks as fresh as a daisy and he's starting to grow into that man in the still obviously he looks like a young boy atletico money line last 100 bit like yourself roman no one will believe that you are 71. plus 100 so we're going to go down so close to being my absolute banker okay let's move on because this next game very rarely do we see a game where it could end for real and it could end Espanyol vs Mallorca nil nil espanol versus majorca espanol at plus one ten majorca at plus 255. the underwear over is at two and a half it really is a flip of the coin if it's your day you're going to see a freel and if you've gone under do you want to see the nil nil the drawer is up plus 250 surely that is a runner pavlos espanol versus majorca flipped the coin three times and we still may not have a winner yeah true and uh the coin has been flipped already twice this season uh in the copa del rey end the la liga in mallorca won both times so i believe that espanol um you know all stats and numbers apart i think they're they're in for our revenge game especially at home where they've been very very sold this season they have seven wins three losses and four draws um they've only lost to betis and elte uh since uh i don't know september uh they're really really great uh at home um not so great defensively but offensively they just get the job done uh they kept sevilla to a draw they kept barcelona to a draw um they they beat her alexa that they killed billboard they beat real madrid of course they're like a cornered beast they're now facing relegation uh just two points above uh the relegation zone so uh they might wanna start you know getting some points sooner rather than later uh but this is much where i i truly believe that espanol are not going to lose i mean they've been really really stable lately uh of course they've won just one of the last five matches uh against getafe of all teams uh but they've only lost to viral in that span so and they get barcelona and sevilla to draws so um i believe that this so much even though espanol um they don't they're not great uh defensively they're quite solid defensively they have the seventh best dolphins in the la liga with 34 goals and the eighth best home muffins uh xg numbers looking great at home as well uh difference not so much they have the six worst difference and we we see a lot of these matches where they just fail to keep a clean sheet uh in majorca depending on the day they are because there is a lot of goal as much for majorca but they can score they can score but uh the other team has to be a little bit naive at the back and espanol are are kind of naive at the back so i believe this this is a much more major could easily get in the scoresheet but i just don't see them winning i think that espanola are gonna grab at least a point espanol after all they're sitting at the middle of the standings 33 points um uh nine points ahead of the relegation zone they're fairly safe right now uh maybe again a couple of points maybe a couple of wins until the end of the season will get them saved i don't think they're gonna you know have relegation problems so yeah all things considered um i believe that espanol are not gonna lose this much uh this might go uh way uh you know over the total uh but i do trust the home presence of espanol here i do trust their offense i don't trust this majorica defense uh second worst defense in the league second worst difference on the road just really bad defensively so i believe that uh this is the match for espanol will not lose and Sevilla vs Real Sociedad uh we see a couple of goals okay well i was writing down for espanol to uh to score twice is uh plus 120. we keep a clean sheet majorca a plus 170 not to score romance espanol they're a little bit stronger than majorca but as this espanol to be relied upon when there's nothing really for them to play for yeah i mean espanol had higher hopes i think at the beginning of the season they they started off pretty well and they've just kind of been another of those teams that have lost um a bit of that intensity and that quality along along the games and now they are struggling a bit more the home games used to be uh defining for them that's where they've achieved most of their points as pablo has mentioned but now they're not as strong maybe at home and i think mayuka do have a slight chance but it's hard to predict as you said it's a bit of a flip of a coin you don't really know which way it's going to go obviously if you have to pick a side i think espanol is the safer way to go but for me i do see a few goals here going i expect both teams to score at least one goal and i think like a 2-1 a 2-2 something like that is a very likely case scenario okay well let's have a little look at the official picks because i thought it might be the home side here majorca they are one of those that you don't really want to go and play them on the party island but you would want to play them at home if you're desperate for a performance because they're not going to put up much of a fight if you get your heads in front it's just wherever espanol get their heads in front it's espanol double chance and over 1.5 minus 125 pavlos you've gone digging this week you have gone with a little bit of a safety valve but also making sure that you still pick up a little bit of value if you get the right combination so it's espanol not to get beat and over one and a half goals so a nice little 2-2 draw or they win 2-1 and it's up minus 125. now two of the bigger guns in la liga are going to meet and uh sevilla who trusts the vr sevilla versus rio sasha does sevilla plus 110 remember they travel to london for midweek in the europa league sasha dad they're struggling uh with injuries but they're at plus 300 the draws at plus 220 the under over set too which does surprise me because both of these sides have very little respect for each other so they will play on the front foot severe at plus 120 to score twice sasha dad well they're just minus 170 to score once uh roman sevilla over or under two because uh over two's at minus 130 and the it's got to be over two goals surely yeah i i think it should be the only thing that worries me now is uh today uh also had informed everyone that uh their captain or yarzawa their best player in my opinion uh has been injured badly in his acl and his knees so he's gonna be out for the whole season and i just think that's just a massive blow for the whole team knowing this information knowing that they're not going to be able to count on one of their best or their best player to fight for those champions league positions i'm sure they still have the quality of course to fight for that but it's going to be way tougher and sevilla need a win badly i mean they have been disappointing of late in la liga too often i think and at some point you know they have to get back on track and it's true that they have a really good record against the association yeah tend to get good results and i think they should be capable of getting the win i'm not going to go and bet on them this time because i mean they have disappointed a lot lately as i mentioned but i think they have the quality and i do think we should see over two goals i mean uh both teams have enough firepower but i'm worried about real sociedad with that really bad injury for the rest of the season okay yeah i mean it is a game where both side you listen it's one of those you look back on monday and go yeah i could see that happening i mean socially now they're going to have their supporters especially in double chance minus 130 because you cannot trust severe they are not actually on full cylinders but i remember they've got that trip to london as well pavlos what the numbers saying because these two i mean sochi that have peaks and troughs sevilla they've not been blowing anyone away so that always means the away side have got a chance yeah well sevilla uh their offensive numbers have uh sort of dipped but they're still very good uh sixth best offense 40 goals uh fourth best home opens with 28 goals 28 goals uh their xg numbers are just dipping a little bit their eighth overall and seventh at home so uh we used to see them just a bit higher over the season but their defensive numbers are still up uh in general but the problem is that at home uh they're now 10th in xga at home allowing 1.23 per game and mind you that the sevilla side was always top three throughout the whole season uh in xga at home so lately uh possibly because they're starting to be more offensively uh you know since the january transfer window uh they're playing a bit more offensively uh at least judging by the numbers they create a lot of um you know more opportunities but they also allow more opportunities but they still have the best events in the league and the fourth best home difference with eleven considered and um so when you look at all the numbers especially realizes very bad dolphins and when you put that up with uh sevilla's difference it's it's it looks like another right uh i mean they have the fifth worst offense with 29 goals uh but they've been really really really good on the road really good in the sense offensively good because they have uh the fifth best offers on the road with 18 uh 18 goals so far so um they they tend to go out uh in front on the road and they tend to score more than they do at home um and um they do have the fifth best uh difference overall they're associated with 29 percent goals but they also have the fifth worst away defense with 23 considered so they do score a lot and they also concede a lot on the road so a lot of the marches on the road have been have went um uh over the total a lot of matches not a lot of matches but a lot of matches for this uh for a team that is supposed to be defensive and um and then i looked at the history between the two sides especially the history in sevilla so in the last three matches uh sevilla won by three two two twice three to two three two and then five to two a couple of years ago so something happens whenever we're never these two meet and i i went back also in those seasons and i saw their you know their total numbers they were again um not high total numbers so these are teams that are usually defensive and they have been defensive but something happens whenever they meet against each other it's like that hitachi levante match that we talked about last week um hitachi story with um with valencia where they they have a lot of cards so uh this has a lot of goals especially in this venue so i was tempted by the over the full over two and a half calls here uh i'm not gonna pick the over two i think the price is too low uh so um i wouldn't be surprised if sevilla scored twice so uh what was the price on uh civilian score twice plus one twenty look at them numbers then please because if we can have the numbers put up i think you're going to be looking around the plus 110 aren't you yeah plus 120. yeah yeah i wouldn't be surprised if they scored twice uh because you know so that they've been like they think they've been destroyed on the road on numerous occasions four one to real madrid four nil to bibau four uh nil to betis uh so they don't usually get destroyed but uh if anything sevilla could uh could do that but uh listen i was gonna pick sevilla uh over one and a half as my extra pick for this match but um uh no i'm not gonna do that i'm gonna stick with my original plan okay i'm looking forward to what your original plan was i'm just wondering whether again with severe playing in london against west ham or a tough big side whether it's going to take maybe 45 minutes for them getting going and it's plus 110 for the draw half time maybe the unders at halftime maybe this is a neil neil at halftime that wouldn't surprise anyone i'm not reinventing the will because sevilla do score the majority of their goals in the second half let's let's have a little look at the official pick before we get to the big one in sevilla double chance and over 1.5 at minus 115 for pavlos so severe over 0.5 and over one and a half goals at minus 115 and remember he also likes but not official pick severe to score twice at plus 120 okay let's move on oh before before we won we move on um i just wanted to say that last season in this venue sevilla won by three to two and uh the over uh actually the under was gone in seven minutes at seventy the score was already two to one and uh the 14th minute it was two to two so uh again don't take this uh you know uh take this results with a grain of salt because they were from last season but uh yeah all i'm saying is that maybe we could see goals here just you because also they have quite a few setbacks in terms of defensive injuries because acuna and diego carlos two of their starters we don't know if they're going to be available so that's something to unbiased perspective we could say but then again be careful because we have to see if bentham is going to be available for this game because he's doubtful and they still don't know uh right now in this moment if he's going to be available he has to go through some tests i think that if there's a minimum chance that he can play he's going to play because i mean they need him for this match but of course they won't take any risk because if they lose ben stima for a long term that would be devastating take into account them it would have a comfortable gap in the standing so they don't need to push it too much but on the other hand i think barton are a team that's capable of scoring goals we've seen how their firepower has improved so much uh with the summer of a summary winter signing sorry uh with aubameyang with ferrantoros etc so i really think that the way to go here is its goals in my opinion i think we're going to see goals barca's attacking uh abilities are much better as i said we all know the capability and we know that for example barcelona can defend very well so whether it's madrid scoring all the goals or both sides which i think is going to be the case um i think
