we're trying it's called an asof and we've done a bunch of and I didn't realize how many people like a lot of members this is a members thing for now a lot of members um a lot of you have already uh made do a prediction so everybody almost all the members have a prediction between 10 and 52 Aces total in this match so it was combined Aces and we're going to find out who's going to win I'm also in it too so we'll see what happens we'll see how it goes I'm going to figure out a better way of doing it in the future if we do do it also for non-members as well to get involved down the track but uh a lot of lot of people got involved which is cool to see um but we'll talk about that in a second let's get the preview though because these two guys actually never met never met before so there's the draw you can see the winner of this will take on either or anal Maran M winner that will take on demitro so interesting little section of the draw in uh in this part of the draw for uh for these guys wait a second update the why is that like that hang on I'll fix it later um but yeah so interesting little section of the draw of course we're not in Canada we're in Cy and then in this section also a potential matchup with verev in a quarterfinal is what's uh what's at stake for or maybe even quarter I mean quarters in this section as well Ria poker world number 322 26-year-old from the USA 6'1 right-handed five wins three losses on the year in his comeback he has no titles this year but he's got four career titles and his form has been good in his comeback he had I think an ankle problem for a long time so good to see him back on two of the biggest one of the biggest players on tour and Ben Shelton world number 14 21y old from the USA as well 6'4 left-handed 27 wins 18 losses on the year he has a title this year that was on the clay of Houston two career titles including one in Tokyo last year which is a big title biggest title so far in his career and his form's been okay the last couple of uh last couple of tournaments uh did okay at Wimbledon made the fourth round uh there lost to Center in the in the W I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure um and yeah so that's uh so what we're going to do cuz let's be honest chat some of these matches especially go you know when we got matches with guys like oeler and Shelton they get a little you know we just kind of waiting for the tie break you know we're just kind of waiting for the tie break to happen you know it's it's a little bit of a it can get a little bit repetitive so to break that up we're going to start doing we're going to do this now we're not going to do it every match only when like you know serve Bots are kind of playing so then we can you know keep it interesting uh when yeah exactly when there serve Bots that's what we're going to do so um so what we've got is uh on the community tab for the members we're just going to test out with the Members First uh I asked you guys to give us your predictions uh sorry to those who made a prediction that has already been picked so everybody so the way it was going to work is that only one prediction per person so you can't all pick you know 25 Aces it's only one person can Pi 25 it was best uh first in best rest and we're going to go and uh we're going to see how many people who gets it right cuz only one person get it right unless it's 50 Aces and then nobody gets it right cuz nobody picked that uh and these guys by the way the record for most aces in a three-step match is 81 so anywhere between 0 and 81 is possible it has happened so that's what we're going to do it was tough yeah I know you had to be in quick too I mean uh you know some of you might have been asleep so it was a little bit unfortunate but uh that's it's look there's nothing on the line we're just having fun so don't worry about it it's not not too serious I'm hoping to do a better way of doing it in the future so that that way you know once someone gets predicted then that gets taken off the table and only you can only pick what's left is it too late to guess uh you can guess okay you can guess 50 53 54 55 56 57 58 59 or 60 or more but that's it no more after that wins it straight sets 33 and like we know two love and three but at least having an extra an extra set of tennis will give uh give us something to something to do rather than a match a final Grands just be fun to kind of get those yeah okay maybe once every now and again we'll get a five set final but it's not like we're going to get a set final every single time we might get four sets we might get three sets you know but at least we get three sets because when we say best of five set finals everyone goes straight to like well they can't play five hours it's like well they won't have to like Shon could win in an hour and a half three sets double F Shon 30 Old there you know how many five hour five set finals of the men played lately like not that many there a few but not many as have smashed every sh oh no Shelton smashed it out 3040 but yeah I would just like to uh just as a just as a just as a test you know just as a test see what happens rather than us all saying well no you know they can't you know some of the some of the ladies can't play five sets it's like well we don't know that we haven't seen them play five sets let them let their athleticism be the judge you know there's been some terrible five setep finals with men the men you know some of the guys can't hack five sets you know I mean I don't think it matters really is with a volley there from Shelton that's a good shot he saves the break point that's his first break point save by first break point of the day too against Shelton or if we um if you don't want five set women's finals a five set ATP finals final the final match of the year five set final ATB finals like it used to be get that because it's the last match of the year why not do that isker in the net by the way we've only had um one ace or in the last few games this has been very strange Aces have dried up ADV vanage Shelton to serve out wide as a fault second serve last final that caught the Casual fans was sabinka G yeah sabinka g was going to happen unless the uh it's either going to happen because the you know the the ITF are like we want five set finals or um or some of the ladies are like yeah let's play five sets like I it it won't happen unless the players want it they're not going to change the the they're not going to change things if the players don't want it changed you know and the players sometimes they change things without letting the players know but I don't think the ITF were going to look we'd have to have a lot of bad finals that goes the N from Shelton they'd have to be a lot of like one hour one you and if if there's only like you know what I mean if there's only like um you know maximum 10 double faults combined then there's only 10 people can play so at least with Aces people can pick between 1 and 100 and we get a lot of people involved double fault count is a little too Limited um winner off perhaps now winners are too much it's too hard to to to do that one cuz winners we can't count in real time you know what I mean like again aces are a stat that's shown on the screen for the entire match winners are like winners are a little bit dodgy like on this screen here it says winners but ATP have a like this is not coming from the ATP directly so it can be a little bit off so it's a little I don't want people to feel like they're getting ripped off aces are like easy and clean cut like super easy like he he hit an ace Undisputed like you can't it's very it's very hard to dispute whether or not it was an ace um so I feel like again just we got got to keep it simple if we make it complicated it'll get annoying and people won't want to and I it'll annoy me because I got to figure all this stuff out and if it's not if it gets too too technical then it gets a little too annoying people that pick like 20 still have a chance so even if your numberers gone past it can still go back and if it's a double fault we could do something like that maybe so like seven double faults so would have been 18 right am I get you making am I making sense but we won't do that to start with we might do down the track but not to start with we'll keep it simple to start so let double fold to minus one but we won't do that for we won't do that uh start we'll keep it simple most Aces or pick the aces yeah combine them but like again like I said for now we'll do it just this and uh and see
