[Music] between these iconic Hedges the field where some of college football greats have called home Sanford Stadium in Athens Georgia where these fans are ready to turn the dogs loose today a pair of Pack 12 teams getting set to square off in a game that could have season long implications as we'll see the Old Miss Rebels taking on a squad hoping to prevent another L this week the Georgia Bulldogs for EA Sports college football ree Davis with you alongside David poock and Jesse Palmer and guys can't wait to get this one started [Applause] and the rebels will kick it away to start us [Applause] off you'll call for the fair catch here [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] first down for this [Applause] [Music] offense the run to the right they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one listen I know there are a lot of DBS out there that all they want to do is get interceptions and dance in the end zone this dude likes to put his face in the fan get close to the line of scrimmage and Tackle and on the opening drive that he's out there he gets a huge tackle for loss early that is a statement play didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and [Applause] 11 looking downfield it's Beck got his man quickly he's really close to that first down marker but they stopped him just a bit short well this offense knew coming into this game they wanted try to attack the middle of the field in the passing game and they're able to execute the end route there third down and they'll need two on this initial Drive of the game they'll try to get it through the air looking left and that's in complete a Defender all over him knocked the ball to the ground fourth down coming up defense did a great job third and short on the opponent side of the field they're expecting quick throw everybody they dug their heel on the ground they're able to break on the ball Force the incompletion first one of the day is on its way and he's been sort of scarce around here only called on one time in that loss last week he make the Stop and that it's exactly what you want out of your punt cover unit [Applause] first down here for the offense from the gun the G looking for room moves up to the 34 yd line give him a 10yd pickup well I know this is an offensive line that has a ton of Pride and they want to come out each and every game and really impose their will on the dline they got just enough push there on that run play to pick up the first lining up from the 34 on first [Applause] down they're going to ride this running back PR good effort on that one to work his way up to the 42 I know it's sexy to throw the football but if you can pound it away and get these kind of games GS they will just add up wear the defense down get first downs and ultimately get some points eight- yd pickup on first down leaves them with second and short keeping it on the ground with the running back you know runs like this often times are like a boxer in a boxing match obviously it's not a knockout punch but these are body blows and as the game goes on these small Gams are going to turn into longer runs they have it at the 43 third and short trying to avoid making a decision on fourth down looking to throw for it and the incomplete pass will bring up fourth down and he was off Target there but I tell you what I'll expect to see more of that they do a really good job in this offense of getting the running back the football in the passing game just let him make plays let him be a Difference Maker ball getting to him in space so I expect we'll see more of that throughout this game pretty solid coverage there and they'll stop him at the 26 and Georgia ready to go back to work on offense last time David it was one two three kick yeah last drive that three and out sometimes that puts your defense just plowing ahead and a big hit at the end but it didn't stop him from getting the first down dogs pick up the first down through the air and the Georgia faithful starting to howl and bark and we've seen that in the past with Georgia maybe you get a little bit conservative a little bit too much relling on great defense run the football the reason they broke through the reason they started winning championships in the recent era they became more aggressive more Dynamic throwing the football down the field here's this offense with a fresh set of downs from the gun running back gets to give and he'll pick up the first down after a tough run there well at first you don't succeed try try again right it's been really hard for this offense in this game to run the football but they find break off a big run there that could be the play they need to really generate momentum and get this run game done they're getting this guy lathered up nowhere to run on that one he loses four on the carry and how about the timing of the linebacker on the blitz to get in the back field and get the tackle for loss is there anything better for a linebacker than to run on a blitz and nobody's home except the back such a great feeling when when the Moses Parts the Red Sea and the hole opens up and you go f and that's going to fall to the ground incomplete that was a physical matchup there third down coming and the big tight end a lot of times that's a bigger Strike Zone a bigger dude and you could tell they put the hit on him and that ball came out and it came to the turf nice job playing physical by this defense on Third and long doesn't need to take the check down he CAU it into the end zone touchdown dogs man that's a play this kid has been running ever since he was 7 years old at the park with his best friend throwing him go routs right down the field I'm running by a guy I'm looking back locating the football making the catch and he does it been a big moment here in this game and the extra point is good and it's 7even nothing and let's check in with Kevin Conor's in the studio Kevin guys the big top 15 battle is underway and it's been very interesting so far us is currently working from behind but in front of a packed Coliseum anything is possible that fight song those uniforms momentum can change quickly it's a touchdown game they're trailing by seven to Oregon any big developments in this one we've got you covered with the best studio team in the vist gentlemen oh and how about that I know Kevin and those guys will be keeping an eye on it for us feeling some heat and the shot to the middle of the field falls to the turf well that one Falls incomplete but you know this guy is a big part of their passing attack you saw the last game out he had multiple catches from the running back position they are going to try to get that established in this game how about that play to get a hand in there and force the incompletion and those Corner routes those quarterbacks need to throw the ball with some air and put it towards the sideline away from the defender you can tell a little bit maybe underthrown the defender doing a good job sticking with the play getting his hand on the football and getting the deflection you don't want to start this game with two straight punts big third down opportunity coming here to the air it's dark pocket starts to collapse that pass is well off Target he got hit as he was trying to throw and they can't convert on third down and on money down defensively you got to find ways to affect the quarterback nice job by the defense getting the pressure getting to him getting a hit on him and forcing the incompletion and now forcing the fourth down and The Return Man couldn't get to it to make the catch and the ball will bounce out of [Music] [Applause] [Music] bounds we're ready to get another look at this Bulldog offense that last drive an absolute aerial ass ass for the touchdown Jesse it was a nice job in play calling too David just giving the quarterback some easy looks and reads so he could go out and execute and he knew exactly where to go with the football everything looked really really easy he was hot the ball was coming out of his hands the defense better do something different they'll line up for a second down play linebacker shuffling around trying to keep the quarterback from getting getting a read and they're not quite in Rhythm there it's incomplete fairly manageable distance here on third down from the 275 they'll try to get the first through the air grab near the marker it's humph still on his feet at the 45 and they'll do more than move the chain they'll move that thing more than 30 yds down the field before he's finally stopped well after that last play you can see how electrifying this guy is and how special he is after he makes the catch if I'm on offense I'm trying to find a lot of ways to get him touches in this game comes out throwing on first down looking to the big tight end just flying through the air like a superhero to make the grabia miss [Applause] back at it to open the quarter with this first down play he wants to throw fires deep toward the end zone almost intercepted they took a shot on first down and just about turned the thing over well the quarterback knew where he wanted to go with the ball his intended target just wasn't open so the quarterback made sure he put that football in the stands the incomplete pass leaves him with second down the give on the inside Powers through the defender and he's almost to that first down marker there saying he's a little bit short they might want to bring out the stick to measure but it looks as if he'll be just short of the first down AA trying to make this red zone trip [Applause] payoff looking for a man it's back makes the grab over the middle and they reacted well to the completion but it was 28 to keep him from getting the first down well in that down in distance the quarterback's got to get rid of it so quickly right he knows the defense is going to be bearing down on him so a nice job catching the gun snap and then turning and pivoting getting it out of his hands quickly and accurately to pick up the first he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three and when you play defensive end it's all about getting off the football you can tell gets off the football really fast Gets In The Back Field gets the running back before he knows what hit him what a play by the defensive end got some work to do on second down after that last one they need [Applause] 13or trying play action nowhere close on that one is he got drilled trying to deliver the football and now they face third down you want to make a guy that's Elite that's one of the best in the business start to become more and more human keep getting hits on them nice job by the defense getting in his face being physical make him feel your presence and it's picked off right at the goal line looking for more room he's at the 40 he's at the 20 and what a return as he takes it back to the E what an interception and he's dangerous because not only can he catch the ball and pluck it out of the air but he's hard to bring down too this is a guy that I think could play offense for a lot of programs around the country and he showed you his open field running there and this my friend is what you call advantageous field position starting the drive with a first and goal they'll try to get it in with the Run he'll be brought down at the 5 yd line and this defense is on its [Music] heels second and goal for this offense easy moving the running back forcing the defense to adjust touch pass on the Jet Sweep that is a big win for this defense as they were right there as soon as he got the ball I like offenses being creative I'm not sure if that was the best place to call that play I think this offense needs to think about just doing things a little bit more by the book they've got a lot of good Playmakers you don't have to reinvent the wheel this early in the game here he goes breaking the pocket reels it in in the end zone touchdown oh miss miss man that is so good there's not a lot of room to work over there on the sideline In The End Zone but he was able to control his body catch the football make sure he had a foot down inbounds it doesn't get any better than that lining up for the pat hit that one with some aggression for the point after quick strike offense on that three playay scoring drive and they cap things off with a 9yd touchdown pass and we're all square as he's set to kick it away fair catch called for and made and Georgia ready to go back to work on offense that last Drive was promising for a while but you just can't mess it up at the end with the pick Jesse no you got to be able to finish drives especially in this game if you're going to win and David they've got to be able to eliminate the metal yeah and I don't think you get conservative or play it safe you can trust your guy I think you put the ball right back in his hands and let him do his thing second down coming up looking to throw it's back throws for the tight end oh what a grab by the defense and the senior just snatched the ball out of the air and gave it back to his offense this is obviously not a great start for this quarterback here two interceptions already in this game he's got to do a much better job with his decision making offense set on first down 42 he's looking to throw it caught near the sideline it's Harris and he goes down after making the grab picks up a few but still short of the first down receivers work tirelessly tapping that toe along the sideline and it just looks so natural for him yeah can't just be Pat and go all the time right re's just jogging down the field ball hits you right and stride you got to be able to make awkward body catches and do it getting your feet in bounds that was sweet and he was loose and in the open field and on his way a tremendous pick up on that one and that's the danger when you've got a receiver like that if you Blitz and you're playing man coverage he's oneon-one and he's going to burn you if you don't get home to the quarterback first down here with time for maybe one more play until the two-minute warning here's this offense with a fresh set of downs Pi trying to find his man on first down and that one is picked off in the end [Applause] zone you can't give points away when you're a QB you have to understand I got to be aggressive and it's tough in the Red Zone because those are really tight windows but man the one thing I cannot do is turn the football over I got to make sure I get points really poor decision great play by the defense we're ready to get another look at this Bulldog offense after throwing the pick on the last drive need to take care of the ball this time Jesse we're going to find out a lot about this quarterback right here too how does he fight through adversity after that last Drive yeah clear the mechanism move on that that's a part of it right you're going to be a great player got to learn how to handle these mistakes and move on the incompletion brings us to Second and 10 looking downfield it's Beck he makes the grab after burner's coming and he's brought down after a huge completion I know it's early in the game but defensively after that play you know you have to tackle the catch when this guy gets the ball in his hands he is so dangerous after the fact so it's okay for him to make catches just got to get him to the ground quickly one second you feel your own goal post breathing down your neck now you're searching for The End Zone Jack running to the left brought down just outside the Red Zone he moves the chaines at the 22 every offense wants to be able to run the ball and be physical especially on first down and you want to create second and short third short or just get first downs like that run right there and the dogs have it with a first and [Applause] 10 he's going to pass fires to the wide out got it can't quite cross the plane to get the six but they'll have the first down the magic bean is spinning out of control already over 200 yds in the first half yeah they're being aggressive offensively throwing the football trying to take advantage of this defense on the back end they've got their quarterback right now in a Groove slide 22 slide 22 they'll use the running game on first and goal and how about the work up front by that big defensive line the well you see the defense make a big play there in the RPO and they're doing it because they're starting to load the box if you're the play caller offensively you might want to think about having your quarterback keep the ball and then try to throw it down field looking to pass it's Beck floats it out in space second down pass to the back no game on the Play brings up third and go running out of time here in the first half they're going to have to be efficient to put some points on the board before the break on Third and goal they'll try to throw it in still on his feet fires into the end zone oh and he dropped it he had a touchdown right in his hands and couldn't hang on it'll be fourth down their hope for a touchdown gone by the boards but they'll try to put up three before going to the locker room from the left hash and this distance ought to make that angle pretty easy to hammer splits the upright it's good a penalty marker is down if this is on the defense the offense is going to have a choice to make do you dare take the points off the board and go for the touchdown you got one more play before the teams head to the locker rooms easy from the gun he'll try to throw he's got it in the end zone touchdown Georgia and I just love the execution by this offense late in the half man you want to take the lead you want to get that momentum on your side and they do it they finish finish it with the passing game and tell you what eat that passing game up you can keep this lead keep the momentum and keep putting up numbers lining up to tack one more onto that lead point and the pat gives him a 14-7 lead [Music] so here comes the kickoff after the touchdown and the last thing you need right before the half is to give up a big [Applause] return from inside his own 10 he'll try to help out their field position they make the stop on the return and that is Priority One you don't want some big return to give up a cheap touchdown on the final play of the half we played two quarters here time to go to Kevin Connors in our halftime update Georgia will kick it deep to start the second [Applause] half not going to risk a return here he'll make the fair [Applause] [Music] catch YZ offense ready to go back to work they start this third quarter one possession game and hoping to get an early drive going this offense is ready and they're ready to take the field here and see if they can get something established they don't have to change everything and reinvent the wheel they've had some successes in the first half so let's get that continued here on the opening drive yeah and I love getting that break at half to go talk with my coaches and pick my offensive coordinator's brain so I know exactly what I need to do to attack this defense and I get ball first they'll snap it from the 39 first and 10 breaks the tackle not a whole lot of room there three yards maybe second and seven they were able to make the completion but he had to pick his way for just a little bit needed a little more help to Spring him for some yardage yeah if you're going to have success when you throw it outside like that you're going to need some more blocking and better blocking downfield give the defense credit though they were able to rally and made a tackle yeah and you see running backs in today's football they play wide receiver basically for you you got to find a guy that you can throw it to you and you know he's going to catch the ball consistently a completion but not quite enough for the first down third down coming for this offense looking to throw it's Dart that has not close as he got thrilled trying to deliver it it'll bring up fourth down and finally the defense is able to get some pressure on this quarterback they've been trying all game long different ways to affect him weren't able to get there but on that play because of the pressure it affected his accuracy that's why the ball Falls in excellent coverage that time didn't give him any room to set up a big [Applause] return and Georgia ready to go back to work on offense how about that last drive just pared him up in the air David yeah and how about that quarterback you gave him the ball and he delivered the goods great job taking apart the defense fires one high and deep and it's incomplete they were looking for the huge gain on first down and defenses are terrified of giving up that big play I like the offense taking a shot down the field showing the defense like listen hey you're going to have to guard this you better start being worried about the Deep ball now maybe I can take some shots underneath and it might loosen that secondary up a bit out of the gun the inside hand off looking for a prase finds a little bit of space he'll get three out to the 15 and sticking to the Run they what a lot of teams that are really good are really stubborn and they continue to run the football even with little success so this offense is going to continue to focus on running the football you can tell if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentto third and long and he'll try to throw for it grabbed over the middle it's belt and the defense makes the immediate tackle but he has enough for the first down these routes have some reads and adaptability built in and the big fella found that cushion and made the play man it's so awesome how much offenses have evolved they know exactly what they're getting where to sit down quarterback tight end on the same page gets the first down and he was hit just as he was releasing the pass and it falls to the ground incomplete well this offense is going to win this game and down the road if they're going to reach the college football playoff and hope to win a National Championship they have got to keep this quarterback clean you couldn't do it on that last play after misfiring it's second [Applause] down back to pass it's Beck fires to the big fella how about this backer in pass coverage and bringing the big hit stick with him too I'll say this man in college football you see a lot of bad tackling you didn't see it right there that was an awesome job first off being there at the point of attack once the tight end made the catch there was no doubt he was going down great job form tackle they want to just keep throwing it complete to the left he knew exactly where he wanted to go with that one and they've got enough for the first down defense is about feeling out the offense and what they like to do what are they going to do in third and short third and medium third and long so far the offense is winning defense is going to need to make some adjustments and he just overshot his man and threw it out of bounds incomplete now down couldn't make the connection on first down now here on second now the play fake they're bringing heat he almost had the pick and that could have given him a boost instead it'll be third down well the defense just did the quarterback a massive favor that's the nicest thing they've done to him all game they've already picked him off twice that should have been number three they line up and it is a long way to the sticks from here P's left and he is finding wideopen Defenders all over the field his third interception of the day and he's going to score on the interception touchdown Rebels this time it's the defense finding ways to put points on the board there is nothing better than being a Defender seeing that ball in the end zone your eyes get big as saucers go jump on that puppy secure it get you a touchdown now they'll line up for what they hope is automatic on he hits the left upright but gets a little friendly member bounce and gets the point all tied up in just about set to kick it away he'll bring it out it's Smith pulled down at the 18 and the decision to bring it out of the end zone was not a good take first [Music] and we're ready to get another look at this Bulldog offense well the good news is they threw a touchdown pass last time it was just to the wrong team Jesse well that's an unfortunate part of the game for quarterbacks but guess what they do happen so you've got to be able to turn the page here and Lead this offense well I think you know this defense is going to be aggressive they're going to jump routes they're going to play aggressively you got to take advantage of that maybe use that this time to your advantage and here comes the offense on second down they'll Run play action unloads to the white out oh he drops it right down the middle of the field and he couldn't make the play man those are frustrating cuz you know you're supposed to catch that you're supposed to secure it it's going to happen but it's just frustrating for those receivers just tap the chest my bad dog they'll try to move the chains on Third and short from the 27 fires to the tight end he's right out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down and that's why QBs love their tight ends so much right especially when they're athletic because they make short throws turn into long games because of his ability after the catch it's so unique and special he is dominant in this offense able to scr three yards out of that one somehow it's second and seven yeah and listen offensively you run the rpos you just want positive yards make the right read read the guy if he wants to drop back a little bit hand it off get some positive yards go on to the next play [Applause] power football with the Run he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three man what a spectacular play by that defensive end to come up with the tackle there and you see those guys get off the football so fast most of these guys are 250 to 275 lbs but they get off the ball fast low and the offensive linemen they have no chance to stop those guys as quick and as fast as they are as they get set to snap it just about to reach the end of the quarter on Third and long trying to have a big completion here got it in the middle it's etn and they make the tackle but it'll be enough for a first down and we'll see if they get another playoff here in the third that's the end of the third quar and after we all and the Bulldogs are moving quickly down the field go they'll leave it with him runs through a tackle makes that one pay off and they finally get him down at the 38 it'll be first down first down you know you always want to establish the running game how about this offense nothing fancy run the football be physical get a big game coming out on first down with the play fake he uncorks a bullet to the right and this is going to be intercepted a big play in a tie game and the senior just took that one out of the air and sends it the other way if I'm a QB coach I'm grabbing my quarterback right away and be like listen we're going to get another opportunity it's the fourth quarter it's a tie game our defense is going to get a stop for us you got to get your confidence back you got to get back in this ball game we're going to need you again down the road you are not done takes a hand off it's Bentley at the 45 on it way and he's brought down after a nice game well the offense knew what they needed to get that first down so they dial up the running play and they get just enough to keep the drive alive the offense setting up shop at the 46 first and 10 pulls it in it's Wells and they pick up just a few on that completion I think really good wide receivers do a good job of making every route kind of look the same you could tell he this looked like a vertical route so if I'm a DB I'm bailing and all a sudden he sits that hitch down nice job by the wide receiver create enough separation to create a positive game good execution they moov the sticks and they've got it at the 33 and a great job by the off defensive line if you're going to run the ball right at the middle you better control the line of scrimmage you can see the center the guard the tackles doing a good job getting on their guys just enough where this running back can get into space and make the big game now they'll run the draw makes the tackle at the 23 yd line give him 10 yards and enough for the first down well right away after picking up the first down they go right back to their playmaker at running back and I love the push they got up front getting a hat on a hat had opening a huge hole for the bat and you become so hard to defend when you can run the football successfully on first down you're starting like that now what opens up play action now you're making me play pass and run this offense if they can create that run physicality now it opens up everything else and the defense doing a great job committing to the run when you commit to the run like this obviously you can give up some plays in the passing game but you got to stop the run first scanning the field it's dark trying to get to it he'll take a shot had it in his hands for the score and let it fall to the turf it'll be third down and quarterbacks got to understand I know you got your favorites and you going to look out there and that guy is really good I'm going to find ways to get him but I got to take what the defense gives me and and double coverage is probably not the Avenue that I want to go attack consistently and if you didn't know this was a big play the now is telling you a huge third down one back in the back field and they'll give it to it and excellent Vision to find Running Room there and make a really good pickup before the defense put a stop to it they came into this game today knowing that this guy was going to have to leave his Mark in this one tot and The Rock and he's done that he's come up with some big plays and he continues to do that here late at a juncture where they've got to continue running it if they're going to win they'll run it on first and goal he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple this is a defense that comes to play every week with bad intentions and they set the tone in games by making hits like that they've got players on defense that play downhill and they come flying in if you're a ball carrier you better get down you keep trying to fight for extra yards you don't have your head on a swivel watch out these gam lat it wasn't an interception but a lot of times tips and deflections leads to interceptions great job by the defender getting his mid on the [Applause] [Applause] football third and goal from way back there the offense will have to use its first timeout of the half [Applause] timeout third and goal coming up here to the air it's dark missed receiver there it's incomplete hey third and long everybody is pitting their ears back and coming after the quarterback you try to throw screens behind those sometimes they're very successful but this time defense played it great and the play went nowhere so here we are on fourth down and this field goal kicker is is going to face all the pressure in the world no no good no and here in the fourth quarter still all tied up guys well everybody in the stadium thought that was an automatic three not so fast bad Miss by the kick [Music] and Georgia ready to go back to work on offense boy they had that last Drive moving a little bit David but then the mistake just crushed them yeah and those mistakes are going to happen you're going to throw the football you're going to throw interceptions but I think I stay aggressive with this offense I get back to what I did in the first part of that drive what made me successful I agree David just turn the page if you're a quarterback right on this drive you did a lot of good things there leading up to that pick forget about it move on play the next play got stuffed on first down it's second and [Applause] 10 he's looking to throw and it'll be incomplete this is some physical pass defense third and long defense knows the pass is coming so they're going to have guys with their eyes on the QB but they are going to try to get to him with pressure pinning their ears back if you're on offense you might be thinking Blitz here you better get rid of this one quick caught near the sticks it's eken and they finally haul him down but not before the good catch and run really great job by the running back there on the angle route on third down he sold it as if he was running to the flat and at the last second put his foot in the ground and cross the defender's face making that an easy pitch and catch for the QB they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one so first down didn't exactly go according to plan let's see what they can dial up on second down ree I got him right where I want him okay I'm going to throw the football now I can get back in shotgun forget the running game stuff we were play a little pitch and catch and see how good that secondary is pressure coming and he can't get it off taken down what a huge play this late in the game the defense going to stop the clock with the timeout they want to make sure they have everybody on the same page we might as well State the obvious first and second down didn't work out third and very long looking downfield and he needs a bunch all kinds of room to throw that one in there finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down man this offense is so dangerous Rees they've got dudes all over the field that can make plays there's a big G in the pass game you get a chunk of yards like that now the defense is really on its heels finally some signs of life from this offense which has done nothing in the second half it's first and 10 they're trying to get to it hit hard just as he released it on first down and just couldn't get it to the receiver well no big surprise here in the fourth quarter the defense expecting pass and that's why they've got extra DBS on the field it's almost like a prevent look everybody back there staring at the QB going to be hard to throw into that obviously the ball Falls incomplete after the misfire now on second [Applause] down caught near the sideline it's etn and he goes out of bounds after coming up with positive yardage there well they're throwing this one to the running back out on the perimeter of the field they didn't get it to him quick enough though so he literally had to tap dance there on the sidelines make sure he was in bounds when he caught it and just pick up a few yards they'll try to pick up a few here on third down but from here it would be a 60yd attempt to the air it's Beck excellent coverage and good use of the hands to knock it away well this defense has had the QB's number all game long one of the reasons why is because this cornerback when he's on an island he's winning the 50/50 balls and he's not letting anything get thrown over his head downfield great job in coverage disguising what he's doing and knocking balls away Georgia sends out the punt team this will be the second time they've had to kick it away fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way and the ball will bounce at the four and find its way into the end zone for a Touchback [Applause] Miss ready to send the offense onto the field a pretty good bit of ground to cover here Jesse but they've got some time to work with they do so Tempo is going to be important you got to go fast just got to make good decisions at the quarterback position and those good decisions are throwing the ball beyond the sticks using the sidelines to get out of bounds try to maximize this time and get in a position to win biggest Drive of the game right here as we get close to the end of regulation linebackers trying to create some confusion throws to the tight end and that's going to be incomplete going for broke on second down but third Down's coming up I know it hasn't been a tremendous day statistically for this quarterback but his decision making has been good enough to win this game hasn't thrown a lot of TD so far but when things aren't open he throws it away like on that play right there he's not putting his team in a bad spot and that's why they still have a shot to walk out of here with a double he just needed a yard on third down and there just wasn't any room to pick it up quick timeout by the defense there trying to make sure everyone has the same call the rebels line up to punt it away fourth time tonight we've seen this guy come on to punt looking for a block it's l coverage team was down there to Corral him they made the Stop and they'll mark it at the 39 [Music] we're ready to get another look at this Bulldog offense the offense really couldn't ask for much more than this Jesse you're right with this much time on the clock David the playbooks wide open you don't have to just be throwing it every down you can sprinkle in some runs too and you find out what your quarterback's about Big Time Prime Time moments you got the ball tie game you want to go win make some plays for the big go they'll throw it on first down fires to the wide out catch in the middle it's love it and it is a chunk play a huge gain on that one before the defense brings it to an end another first they'll run it out of the shotgun it's all tied up this offensive line they want the pressure they want everything to go through them here they're saying look let's just run the ball let's get this thing down closer and closer to the goal line let's bleed some clock and put ourselves into position to win after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven the receivers often will run their route based on a side adjustment looking for a man it's backck they're working that left side touchdown bulldogs and they've got the lead in the final minute and that is exactly what you want from this off take almost all the clock execute and now go out and take a lead by a touchdown great Flawless execution by this [Music] offense they'll try to add another to their lead extra point the extra point is good and now in the fourth they're up by a touchdown and an extra point quick work on that scoring ground dri just four plays and they finish it up with a 15yd scoring [Applause] some heat takes a hit as he fires can't find his man as he took a shot trying to deliver that football and it'll be second down the dogs haven't just been hungry they've been famished they have just eaten up this offense all day everything they've tried to do has it worked this defense not only are they well organized not only are they talented they're well coached they listen they play so hard they don't give you a thing this time it's complete he will step out of bounds but not before the big pickup and a first down for this offense no time to waste here they've got to get set and pick up chunk yardage dropping back it's dark using his legs to buy some time outside the pocket Let's It Go you want to talk about building confidence coming through with clutch plays making the winning plays at the right time can really set the course for the rest of the season yeah re maturity and experience matters and this team has guys that have played a lot of snaps they've seen a lot of looks and they've lost close games like this in the past that wasn't the case today David too many guys out there making big time plays and I think belief is what you build that confidence you know you're going to win you don't think you're going to win you know you're going to make that play in the big moment that continues to build on week to week success and you look up and you're like dang we strung a couple wins together
