and welcome in everybody glad you're with us MLB the show's game of the week is coming your way it's the Philadelphia Phillies at the Arizona Diamond just about ready to roll here and towing the slab in this one Brandon fat well no doubt about it he's going to have to put together some consistently good performances in order to bring that ra down now he's got good stuff he's just got to be able to have confidence trusted and really go after hitters not nibble trust that his stuff can have late life and Miss barrels of bats the pitch swing and a miss him out very frustrating right there as a speedy potential base runner when two strikes you just struggle to put the ball in play you don't even have to get a hit at that point you can help your team just by reaching on an ER but some way you got to find a way to shorten up the swing and put the ball in play next time he was all over that one really nice job staying up the Middle with his approach he didn't try to do too much with the pitch just shot it through the infield and now let's see for some action with good Wheels on the bases Pomo slings to Second and that's [Applause] two back here at Chase Field getting the nod in this one Taiwan Walker and singing We were talking earlier about how he's doing a great job navigating through tough spots I've just been so impressed with when it seems like there's more pressure he's more calm and settles in he's done an incred job with scoring position most guys will get a little tight they start to aim the baseball but for some reason he gets looser the ball comes out of his hand with more life and he's able to wiggle off the hook of you know tough situations and get his team back in the Dugout and that one little below the knees ball two the punch out there two gone that's about as nasty of a splitter as you'll come across especially in terms of movement I that thing tumbles out his hand and just drops off the table at the last moment he keeps it down it's just so tough to put W on a good eye there really good take especially with two strikes hamers that one deep left field and forget it a gigantic blast that's his third home run of the series and the Dbacks jump out in front it's nothing he's going to the plate with a ton of confidence lately and he's getting the results to back it up no doubt those two things feed off one another swing and a miss struck absolutely beled and that gets down in the corner around first and hustling for second and he starts the bottom of the third with a double nice line drive with the p side right there but he didn't spin off of it that's the key you still have to extend through the base in order to hit a line drive like that and it's second fights that one away still one and two and one to the right side schorer takes it himself one gone bottom of the third inning that's a good piece of hitting right there it's early but you still want to move the runner up and give your team a chance to score that's exactly it's clearly been a rough you just hope he's not pressing too hard because that just compounds things and makes the slump even longer never seem to help never help me fires over to schwarber and that side tosses to first and that's one away as the lead off man is out in the E and now it's going to be Kyle schw K swing the drive deep right field that one carrying that was blasted to the Moon his second home run of the series and they tack on to their lead it's [Applause] 53 now the M for the Diamond Backs Jo man and compared to a lot of other relever strikeouts have not been a big weapon for him this year so the defense should be active and now Nick castanos Walker steps on first for the out now Brandon Mar Brandon March stands in for the Phillies this kid picked up in a trade a lot was offered in given to get him but he's got a real high ceiling that strike out the Phillies another on this solo Homer why doesn't this work and welcome back to the ballark out to the bottom of the E
