hey what's up everybody welcome back to college football 25 I'm still working on this dynasty and we're going to hit some two-lane game it's week one and two lane ah what I show you about I think I should play three games Universe of Georgia two losses one win and we're going up against Duke y see start fres up there pleas I'm Je bberry of course oh fresh I'm red J okay go why see up top for EA Sports college football I'm Reese Davis David poock and Jesse Palmer with me guys it's time to get it going and the Blue Devils will put total Lea and we'll get started not going to risk a return here he'll make the fair catch so the two-a in Green Wave offense takes the field and they'll have the ball first and here he comes aght always open David again my name isol so much you can move him all over the field and you can really highlight a guy of his ability ah come on is and Tackle him at the 19 and they are looking for a ball play that'll work now facing second from the 19 send it down fi why you throwing that to rookie going for the [Music] massive thr that rookie taking shots those receivers love to go deep gives them a breath of fresh air they get more excitement they're going to the quarterback with a little bit more juice because you know you feed them so I keep taking deep shots down the FI tan forced to send out the punt unit three and out they got stuck in Reverse they hope the punt can bail them out he'll bring it back it's more looking for Running Room he'll get it to the 43 yd line before he stopped the Blue Devils offense has the ball for the first time as we take a look at out impact players for this game David what do you look for to make an impact from your leaders your leaders not only have to lead the football team but they got to step up and make plays on the field keep everybody calm these guys typically do a really good job yeah David and they also generally set the tone for their respective football teams regardless of which side of the ball they play on the teammates look towards them to step up in big games like this to the ground he's got it again they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one and a great job by the linebacker you could tell starting to crowd the line of scrimmage get up there in the line of scrimage see it diagnose it get in the back field get the running back on the ground and tackle for the L caught in the back field it's Dena and they do a really good job not as easy as it looks to get those blocks and he picks up the first down from the shotgun the inside G and he wses in for the score touchdown dke they strike first in that opening drive of the Season could not have gone better and the P makes it's seven nothing quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and they finished it off with an exclamation point running it in from the 19 returner is going to try to see what he can get and the coverage team able to make the tackle Twain has it back in the offense coming out to go on the attack boy three and out last time DAV they'd like to be more productive this time around yeah in the last Drive nothing really clicked no rhythm got off the field really really quickly they need to put something together here yeah David bad execution on that last drive so they got to take a collective breath and start Play [Applause] onate for that to incomplete so mad about how the CPU moves that fast a goddamn linebacker tight end and the misconnection on third down forced to send out the unit this will be his second nobody physical he only needs a of he was working his way on the return toward Midfield they'll stop him at the 46 on first down here comes this offense to the air it's Murphy he's got his man they pick up half of it it'll be to go the offensive line got moved right back into his lap and as a result they lose yards on that play now facing a third and [Applause] long from the gun wants to pass I knew he wouldn't react to that zone very quickly that'll be enough for the first down as they stop him at the 43 yd line the Blue Devils come to the line with a new set of [Applause] downs they'll give it to the back and he's brought down after a nice gain and you're going to hear this guy's name a lot they're going to ride the big fella he's such a stud they're going to build the offense around him this is just game one but you're going to get a lot of big runs from this game coaches always har about ahead of the chains and you can run with that type of efficiency on first down man you are doing just that 6yd pick up on first down leaves him with second and four he's looking to throw got it behind the line it's Moore and he is going to lose yardage nowhere to run as he is forced out of bounds balls at the 25 they're in field goal range but they love to convert this third and short it's a draw and he delivers the blow and he's still running and the defense knew exactly where that first down line was and they stopped him short now on fourth down they'll send out the field goal unit splits the uprights good and now the lead is even bigger after that last field goal Drive they're set to kick it [Applause] away what kind of f position can he help them with on the return not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 head like I said a no five letter L at five letters it reflects the [ __ ] history off the bootleg looking to fire grabbed behind the line it's Hughes and they knock him down but he got past the line to game I just love quarterbacks that aren't greedy and that aren't always trying to throw the Home Run ball right second down you're in your own end of the field the guy you want to throw to is not open just find the back positive with it this guy is a weapon you got to find him in the pass he R out of fou but not turning in a big pick up and moving the scks for a first down the give to the back running with Power Man a nice second effort by the back to break a tackle but how about those defensive backs willing to come up stick their face in the fan and make a tackle those are the best run and the quarter ised humid I mean they got to survey the field throw the football make deep passes and then guess what else they pull the ball down take off and make big chunks of and they'll but not the first here's with lead here in the first period as we look at the stats they largely dominated the first quarter and built a nice lead to get started will start the quarter offense about to snap it on second down wow dropping back it's Hodes sags it over the middle he's there to make the stop but not before he sets up their parents know they're 21 years and up and especially adults [Applause] wow and it's incomplete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball defense rolls up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming fires to the end zone and it's caugh Lan of they 21 years old up official adult many of the season for this offense nice drive by the offense way to finish it take care of the football make some plays in the passing game this offense looks like they're going to be a really hard one to stop and with the extra point the lead is cut to three it's 10 to7 about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown and it'll be a Touchback the ball will come out to the 25 yd line and the Duke offense heads back out onto the field they kicked a field goal on the last Drive Jesse they've got the lead don't make a dumb mistake but maintain your aggressive play caller yeah no doubt I think it's the play caller right now just taking a look at that script he's got in front of him and finding out where are my Playmakers who can we take advantage of on this defense to get a touchdown here though yeah and just keep moving the ball down the field just execute a little bit better in the Red Zone there's no need to panic we're moving the football and we got the lead this is where you make the money on the drivve ball at the 30 it's third and short from the gun wants to pass quickly to the tie he knew exactly where he wanted to go with that one and they've got enough for the first down and the Blue Devils come to the line with a fresh set of downs from the gun they'll try to their will that play just never had a chance they knock him down for a Los of five eating up in the back trying to run the football there's just nowhere to for the Carri trounce it to the that line way too fast he him there and the TF right the been a they can't keep the defense off of their quarterback they haven't been able to get the ball deep down the field throwing it with the consistency they want because they can't keep their quarterback standing up straight and there was no space nowhere to go that play went absolutely nowhere sometimes you just need a dude to show up and make a play and he did sometimes you just need to block that dude they didn't [Applause] on Third and long he'll have to turn it loose deep quickly out to the tight end and he's not going to make it the defense denying him the first down to out the damn that was weak it'll go out ofs and'll where they it's be right around the5 and Duke has the ball back ready to go on the attack here's another opportunity Jess to stretch out this lead after punting last time I think it goes back to your Playmakers ree I think it's finding the guys that have been working for you earlier on in this game and getting them the football yeah and there's obviously no need to panic I mean think about it you got the lead you got the football you got to be smart dve I got BS single and it pry good effort on that one to work his way up to the 42 come to field they just didn't quite find the Rhythm on that last Drive Jesse they had to punt it I think they got to be more physical David I think up front they got to do a better job getting blocks and establishing this running game and how easy does football become if you're the more physical team if you can threaten the run and then then run play action it opens up the whole offense at your disposal from the gun running back gets to give looks as if that'll be enough for a two lane first down this is a guy that can find you the yard just pushes the pile to get that first down looking to throw it's h oh thank you for holding that they are on the to the 32 and they pick up another first down I tell you what that's great execution between the QB and receiver they look like they could execute that throw in their sleep quarterback took a steps threw it on time great route by the receiver nice job securing the catch it behind the big guys on the left not a whole lot of room as he gets a couple inside the 30 to the 29 picked up two yard on that last one they need eight on second down the playaction fake oh you germ why' you take so long to throw it and hepped after return the first down here from the off other white people wish you were better the to the tail other white people wish he weren't an embarrassment it's Lo defense falls on the ball going to be a turnover man and it was just the impact of the hit that dislodged the football from the ball car they was a heat seeking missile coming in there and he knocked that ding ding ding ding to the on First and good coverage by the defense just a short game I'll say this man in college football you see a lot of bad tackling you didn't see it right there that was an awesome first off being there at the point of attack once the tight end made the catch there was no doubt he was going raise irresponsible where they can't go [Applause] outside I think he got to stay in this city babysitting forever they got better brazing skills confusing yeah and third and they choose not to run throw the football and I think a lot of that has to do they know they're in flugal range they can take the three points on the board oh missed it no good and after the they're still downi once again they're stuck because they can't raise better children oh thank you thank you thank you for the cheat and he takes it all the way they couldn't St they all that but they can't raise anything the lead while they go help the rest of their [Applause] State history just dictates they just stuck no Progressive they're unprogressive nobody buy insurance from them they're just unprogressive bring it back from inside to SP not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage and they stop him at the 21 and now this off will take the field again themselves themselves only at the 14 yd line what a great job by this defense setting the tone early in the first half they've been hitting the quarterback early and often make him feel uncomfortable make him feel that pressure keep getting them on the ground that's why they built the lead thank you for holding that thank you you're going to ATT and success CS you got have betweener and the wide receiver really nice Rapport you could tell these two have been spending a lot of time this off seon thrown ball sitting right at the 30 it'll be third and short that's going to be dangerous they'll try to power their way ahead what is he close to that first down maybe just a couple of inches short referee signals time out it's the defense to make that they have everything just right with the big play coming thanks for the timeout wow guys H why are you weak on the line right there position this offense wants trying to start the drive with a pass and that incomplete pass caused by the big hit on first down second down coming well give the defense credit because they forcing this quarterback to throw under duress looking down field it's Murphy using the quick game he's brought down solid pick up but a little bit short of with first down here they come up to the 23 yd line not thinking field goal wanting to convert this third and short and the Freshman will CH up a sack we've got a timeout here late in the first half and they'll try to get more points on the board before the break and onth down they'll try to put on the board damn what who touch thanks team thanks team you Su this could turn out to be a huge penalty thought they were going to have to settle for three and now the offense back on the field with a chance for more feeling some heat he suck [Applause] 25 he suck team in leow catch midd and they a few on that completion quite a bit of work to do on third down from the 23 and this D would love to force a field goal try trying to get to him pressure is on the way and the Press pressure has arrived and down he goes at the 30 the defense going to stop the clock with the timeout they want to make sure they have everybody on the same page he's got it that big so they get the field now about kick those are your leaders and the returner could find no daylight he goes down has it back in the offense coming out to go on the attack they were really aggressive going for it in their own end last time and put them in a can't be the biggest leader Poss good catch good catch get that speed oh God damn it I should got out go go go go go go go go go no I don't see no replay so it's first down but with just few seconds they'll try to put up a three before half [Applause] time the field goal is no good boy that field goal really could have helped the mental health but it's still a 13-point game content to run out the clock the quarterback takes a knat first half in the books time now to join Kevin Conor in our half time update gentlemen you've had yourselves a superb broadcast so far today in Durham and I get it a lot of coaches will say the difference between winning and losing comes down to stopping big plays and getting big plays but if you ask me it's more about how good you are on third down and how efficient you are in keeping drives alive those two stats can help you break the will of even the best defenses and help you come out on top and with that let's send it back to the guys at Brooksfield inside Wallace Wade Stadium about to start here in the second half to a will kick it [Applause] away and he'll just take a knee and this drive will start at the five and Duke has the ball back ready to go on the attack they start this third quarter with the lead but they might want to think about Shoring up that protection yeah the good news is you're you're leading on the scoreboard the bad news is your quarterback doesn't feel like it because you can't protect him so David adjustments and pass protection that has to be something they were talking about here at halftime 100% just you can't get him hit that much he's still doing a good job delivering the football but if you keep hitting the quarterback enough man they'll start to see ghost they'll panic and they'll make some of those mistakes wide receiver coming across in motion looking for a crease it's boy maybe picked up a hey I don't care what's your favorite fashion store is name don't look this way my name is spell as well just not getting enough push up front on the offensive line they haven't been physical grabbed in the back field it's Jones and he's not going to get there the defense Stands Tall and makes the stop and the Blue Devils will punt it away on fourth [Applause] down they're able to put a stop to that return right at the the Tain offense headed back onto the field we talk about settling for points but sometimes when you have to settle for nothing David it can be demoralizing yeah it can definitely be frustrating and I think it leads you to say maybe I go for it but Jesse I think this offense just needs to put another drive together and just finish Stronger Yeah and and be a little bit less predictable too especially as they get closer and closer down to the endone that leaves us with second they go to the ground good on the ground I think you run that so out of third for real you don't own any of my not even Med hey I'm good with that so you run that play to make sure you're set up for a good third down they get him on the ground not have my name the first yeah a nice job dialing up that short yardage situation play call there David they needed one yard they picked up two yeah great job up front great job by the back knowing where they need to go nice having a hole you can get through and not have to just do it all on your own as a back I care how many shirt they Third Man the way you do that is by success like that running the football on first throws for the might be fortunate it wasn't knock free for a fumble it'll be third down guys this offense is already reeling down multiple possessions really need to cash in on this drive they're bringing heat now we're on field go range that was my fault though to out the punt unit he's getting a lot of work fourth time he's punted tonight make sure he doesn't get backed up signal Duke two three kick the last drive that three and out sometimes that puts your defense in a bad spot and you got to get a drive together here so you don't wear the defense I just think DED it's a CPU just set it up all get this bad intentions a knock him down for a loss didn't get much done that first play of the drive it's second and 11 he was not fold on that one you know a lot of times you want to buy space and you throw this R really when it's off cover as you can tell the quarterback was up ready to come pounce on that screen and get the tackle for a loss awesome job up front by this defensive line being so good at the point of attack and eating blocks eating some double teams that allows these linebackers to run free unencumbered and get to the football guys time is expired here in the quarter and Duke is on top three quarters are in the books time becomes a factor both trying to hold the Lea or cut it as we take a at the stats that's is B we a worried about they play G is worried about what they you can confident throw and catch there big pick up and they have a first down and you just get the feeling that this defense has to find a way to get off the field and get the football back at this juncture of the game trailing late if they're going to win they make the stop right there good pickup and still short of the first down trying to get a rhythm in the passing game on second [Applause] down quick release on the RPO nice pick up there gets him the first down and sets him up at the 45 yd line the Blue Devils are on the Move they'll try the run a strong tackle and wrap up from the Junior at this point of the game the offense has the lead the offensive coordinator knows they want keep running the football so he's going back he's looking at his playlist and he's saying which runs work the best for me in this game what can I lean on right here to make sure we win this one he's got an open man and he is marked out of bounds after another big game this aiel with attack has had no problem moving the ball with chunk play from the Red Zone looking for a man takes it all the way down to the four after making the grab and there set up and the Blue Devils will try to punch it in on first and [Applause] goal quack on the keeper and he it to [Applause] the a [ __ ] leader so all you do is cheat of points and especially at home give your home crowd something to get excited about they have today they've been jacked up and they're going to go one and0 about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown that R is the winner also all you do is Catch and the off headed back on the field the last time we saw this offense we had to look quick it was a three and out Jesse and he is there Zone has no problem working oh it's loose not able to get loose on the return but what a to put his turning into Old Reliable he's already knocked through a couple today between the uprights it's good and they'll push that lead out a little further they're really starting to extend that lead as they get ready to kick it away again here he comes all they do ISAT in the off coming out to go on the attack all they do is cheat he Wast no time and comes out throwing excellent coverage and good just be a suck team back to throw it's HJ fired that thing out in a heartbeat but it's incomplete now on Third and 10 if they can move the chain here maybe they can get this drive they made you five letter levers from the guns to pass he to out the out and Noto but to get of the for a block five letter levels and the punt team gets down there and gets the Return Man On The Ground first down for this offense they'll go to the ground he's the Back Field he'll lose a couple it's going to be tough sledding for the offense here they're trying to Ice by running the leeding the clock they've got a pretty good lead game but the defense knows the run's coming right so they're going to be loading the line of scrimmage getting stops like what they just did interesting to see what the offense does on this next one here on third down will they go back to the running game they'll try to run for [Applause] it putting together a real scoring threat here as they pick up the first down at the 36 the Blue Devils come to the line with a fresh set of downs looking for space it's voyd little too soft in that run defense he picks up four to the 32 after the productive first down play second and Six Wide out in motion they'll run it trying to drain time off the clock he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three hey sorry you suck third Downs are Aug and be ay if they can coverage two minutes now left and this one and time is running short if they want to find a way to pull this one out they'll try to run for it he's going to have enough to pick up the first down as they haven't done things that that really gives your coach confidence and makes you want to believe in him this offense has a lot of work to do before their next football on third andet whats [Applause] here the first down by multiple possessions you can't come up empty on this drive they'll go for it on Fourth throw already met you you up fly through like a super to grab they'll put it in from the 40 on First and 10 looking to move it through the air I already met you caugh crosses the [Music] out met you you up I mean physically face to face met you you up they're trying to get to it together it is hard to put all the facets of Defense together run defense pass defense they've been so good man dialed in you could tell they were ready they were fast they were physical they dominated this football game fakes the grab on the left and he'll be taken down but he does have enough for the first down tane looking to put one on the board from the Red Zone they're threatening to score and they'll throw [Applause] it makes the grab offense uses a timeout 17 seconds left on the you you suck you know sometimes when you're throwing against Zone coverage you need time for the rout to nice job by the quarter being patient allowing hisers to work themselves open it's hajes he's got it that completion will take it close to the 5 yd line they'll mark it at the six is in the they keep pushing forward now back to work on second and goal from the six snags it and he wanted to score badly but defense wrestles him down at the you you suck they'll use the timeout seconds left on the clock and after this play the cake will be baked they'll try to pass it in on Third and goal grab near the sticks it's Preston oh well you're old and nothing now and I me sure you suck old and nothing now game it's World old nobody got to put some Drives together nice drive here because they got to put this thing in turboing up to cover the kick after that drive and they thought about a they can't come up with the w and open 0 and one there's still so much room to improve for this football team I know this is not the performance they were expecting here today but there were plays to be made on the field and David I think moving forward this team just has to do a better job executing yeah and when you see it on tape and you coach has been preaching all Camp about the mistakes but now now it's real now you got a loss attached to it but a lot of conference Play Still ahead a lot super songs that are old than nobody's that's going to do it for us for Jessie Palmer David poic our
