all right just about set to go and today's starter McKenzie Gore and singy we were talking earlier about how he's doing a great job navigating through tough spots I've just been so impressed with when it seems like there's more pressure he's more calm and settles and he's done an incredible job with runners in scoring position they get a little tight they start to aim thease but for some reason he gets looser the B comes out of his with more life and he's able to wiggle off the hook of you know tough situations and get his team back in the Dugout Michael Harris in the now no balls in a strike the pitch next offering misses down and away one one third [Applause] Ricky out to ABS on to First here's the Atlanta Braves lineup one guy leading the way offensively for this club right now or Aria you know Bo he really makes the out of his leading the team in Ste on Bas percentage and you know you got sometimes a guy that can run really well but he doesn't get on base enough to utilize that potential as soon as this guy gets on first he's thinking about second and then third he's got the wheels to make that kind of stuff happen and really disrupt the ball game I love watching guys like him who just make stuff happen in the lineup at the belt and fires right side hard hit gets it to First and a couple of quick outs thir the marel here's Marcel Ozuna looking for his first big league hit right here Now One Missed counts one and0 and a big swing and a miss look prly check swing he held up now two balls in a strike backed off the plate that time straighten him up a little bit swing and a miss and it's a full count knows two outs and there's a rocket theel league and this is a moment I'm sure he'll never forget congrats yeah great moment for him and his family a guy works so hard and has to wait so long for this to happen and when it does can kind of be overwhelming you still have toay on the game but it's great when you could take a minute to just appreciate what you've done and how hard you work to get here Matt Olen up to the pl trying to pick up his first knock in the big leagues outside low one and the pinch inside ball he never moved because he never had time to but that kind of velocity you'd prefer that pitcher work away and now the Lefty swing and a popup foul territory for the catcher Ruiz makes the grab and that'll end the inning one left for Atlanta and now the Nets get their first opportunity there's no score Major League Baseball is on the show back in Washington DC and on the now Charlie Morton singing he's kind of a road warrior yeah I definitely say so you know some guys shrink a little the road soed to having the comfort of being at home and having the fans behind this guy seems to thrive in adversity and being in some hostile environment so when you have a player like this on your team that goes out and you defitely like your away from your home and that one fou off now the way out front for strike two can live up in the zone all game will chase it that's just too much velocity hitters got to look down in the zone misses the count and another B it's a good take and down on strikes one down and that's the first strike out of his major lead career could many want to Domin at this level do you think Young pitchers can sometimes get too caught up in try to rack up G early in their career I think they can it's kind of like a hitter that doesn't have power The Thrill is still hitting a ball over the fence and so for a guy he do have power stuff or strike out stuff a strike out is still something that makes him stick his chest out a little bit further that to right sizes this one up and there are two outs here's Dave Martinez line up for the Nationals not a whole lot going their way offensively the last few games Chris yeah Bo and that can put more pressure on the pitching staff to try to limit the opponent to just one or two runs a game knowing that their offense is not scoring right now and that never really works well because you try to be too fine and you end up giving up a lot of runs so we'll see if everybody can just relax bring things together and perform at a level that they're capable of and a though when you consider the way theame doesn't even matter that much if your starter doesn't go that deep because teams are really aggressively building their bullpens and that's off the Inside Edge time fouled off he was late the pitch on the ground a second might be two over to Aria that's one and that's two one hit in the inning but no one left on to the top of the fifth we go it's the Nationals three and the Braves one and now the short stop Orlando arcia first time up was a pop out Aria measures even 29 years old and he was born in Venezuela that one fouled off you know these
