offense so far I really like what they're doing by keeping this defense on their heels and moving the ball down field down down there's a strike complete he's tackled around the 17 yd line Kirk that was a nice grab there you know may be simple but whenever you can gain solid yardage you're doing something right they're about four yds away here on second down right right down down check check BL four BL [Music] four fumble they fall on it number 34 covers [Applause] the and so the defense comes up with a fumble is that turnover going to hurt him well every turnover hurts but hopefully for their sake this running back will go out there next time and hold onto the football a little bit better they're going to review this fumble and I've got to tell you I think he was down before the ball popped loose I don't know about this one Brad they called it a fumble on the field and they need indisputable video evidence to overturn this call after review of the play the ruling on the field is ready for the kickoff and he got all of this one great kick and it goes into the end zone down for a Touchback Alabama's defense is playing lights out right now and pitching a shut up yeah I would not be shocked at all to see this defense be able to maintain this I I just the way they're playing the attitude that they seem to be playing with if they can maintain the energy and the awareness of this offense there's a very good shot that they can shut this offense out pressured and brought down loss of seven yds on the play that'll make it second and one defense looking for another sack in this second down and long situation here we go GRE 19 fires quickly to the tight end tackle made at the 27 yd line number 32 makes the tackle at the 27 yd line third down these fans are showing you why yard line boy the two offensive coordinators have to be loving this in fact you can look over in our booth next to us and see how much they're enjoying with the big smile on their face the defensive coordinators on the other hand might be looking for a pink slip on Monday momentum swings have been fairly even and with so little separation this game can be drastically changed on just one or two plays he's taken down at the 21 yd line the Bulls taking their first time out of the half from their own 21 yd line Second down hey check 33 check 33 let's go green 19 green9 gets it out to his right now I think they've got him with some Happy Feet he appears to be a bit rattled so the officials taking a look at this play to see if the receiver got a foot in bounds regardless of the outcome of this review I still think that this guy May an excellent catch after review of the play the ruling on the field is reversed so after some discussion the call on the field is reversed short yardage try and scramble he gets sacked on the play absolutely perfect call by the defensive coordinator he brought just the right amount of pressure from the right direction and it seemed to confuse the Dave Pollock here in the studio as always to lend a little perspective to what just went down in the first 30 minutes both teams wanted to establish a running game both teams were stubborn in trying to do so and neither team was successful did you get the sense that defense knew what was coming hey dude first and 10 means run yeah I think I think when you do it every single time it doesn't really uh make it hard for a defense to figure out you can become much more aggressive you got to take some chances I you want to stick with the run you want to have that balance but if you don't push the ball down the field then I never have to honor it so mix in some first down passes and runs that's going to do it at halftime just about ready to start the second half all right you finish it up BR I'm going to get some of the cafeteria I'm hungry but look wait don't leave until you get my order Brad Kirk take the second half and we welcome you back to the action here just about set for the second half he sends this one deep and it goes into the end zone down for a Touchback it's a new possession for this offense so what will it hold down down Alabama is up a score on the ground right side he makes it out maybe to the 26 yd line that's good for a gain of one yd that brings up second and N second and nine coming up here ball on their own 26 orange three orange Three Fires across the middle that's a great tackle at the 49 nice pickup as they connect on the pass play well they look to be in sync right now they're both reading the defense properly and the result is a nice game from made the connection to his wide receiver it looked to me that the defense was more worried about the quarterback scrambling and that's why they just gave up that [Applause] touchdown and he adds the extra [Applause] point they line up to kick this one away sends it sailing downfield this one's going to be down in the end zone for a Touchback there's got to be some sense of urgency to this offense right now they don't have the luxury of wasting drives that they want to get back in the game quick throw and he's taken down that's the 48 this quarterback definitely has some confidence in his arm Kirk it sure looks that way that was well covered by the defense and he still got it in [Applause] there first down 10 to go ball on their own 48 you're all mine you're all mine [Applause] baby and he just gets rid of it we got to right T right down down mike check 33 33 go and he's tackled at the 39 there that's a gain of 13 on the play first down we've got a first and 10 ball on the 39 here we go game seven on the play that'll bring up second and three and this play is number eight on the drive go D let's go hey check 33 check 33 knocked out of Bounds at the two yd line third down again call aain of two y that'll make it third and one and they got all the big boys in there for this [Applause] one5 touchdown sou [Applause] Florida nice time to use the fullback there I've always liked when teams mix it up and give the fullback the ball in goal line situations if the big Bruiser can't get you a couple of yards you don't deserve to get in he makes the [Music] pat South Florida to kick he kicks it off and he got all of that one and it goes into the end zone down for a Touchback the Bulls have really surprised everybody in this football game they have not been intimidated at all which is great to see the attitude and effort of this teams put them in a position where they got a shot to win this game here in the second half last Drive ended with as good a result as you can hope for and I'm sure they'd like to replicate that here great passing was the key for the offense the last time they had the ball they were able to pick apart the defense and get down the field for a touchdown he's under some heat fires quickly and he's got his man gain y that'll make it second and [Applause] seven from their own 28 yd line Second down Alabama is up seven r two complete he's got room and down he go at about the 33 yd line Y that'll bring up third and [Applause] two so at the end of three Alabama leads it 2114 all right we're just about set to start action here again in the fourth quarter down M we go here we go here we [Applause] go they tackle him there and he's still going to be short call it a gain of one yard that'll bring up fourth and one it's away and it's a booming punt he's out to the 30 he makes it out to maybe the 33 yd line forain of 11 y both teams realize that when the ball is snapped wor One play away from a very different ball game3 just throws third down here quick we got to move quick right here one of the top stadiums in the nation this crowd comes to play themselves we're still early in the fourth quarter but that was a huge stop and now with the lead they're going to get the football back and an opportunity to stretch the lead 28 yd LS out of bounds with the 27 yd Line This is a pretty crucial Series right here with things being so Alabama even in a game this close I think it's going to take something very unexpected to change the outcome but that doesn't mean it won't happen got a man watch out here he's at Midfield he's at the
