The Go-To Strategy To Win Sleeper Fantasy Football Drafts

SleeperFantasy Football Cheat Codes this is the cheat code to win your fantasy football league if you play on sleeper today we're going to hold your hand go round by round talk you through the strategy that we're going to use the best values in each round and the landmines to invoid in each as well I went through all the adps versus my rankings and found some deep Sleepers for you some mid- round selections and then just a general strategy the wide receivers are mispriced so I'm going to save a couple of my bullets for the middle to late rounds to snipe off some of these wide receiver selections so I might draft a tight end quarterback and running back a little bit early just knowing I can get the wide receivers that I want later on let's talk through a few Basics here this is a two running back three wide receiver plus a flex League Half Point PPR we're not going to talk about kickers and defense here sorry about that to all of you my apologies I'm not sorry my my big picture overview here with sleeper is that the tight end tend to go very early on Sam La Porter round two you might have five gone by the end of round four and the four Elite quarterbacks are typically drafted all gone by the middle of round four every platform is different that's why we also have videos on ESPN and Yahoo as well if some of your leagues are drafting on those platforms on the channel this week so subscribe hit the thumbs up and be sure to check those out as well Hayden this is a different one because we're both going to be drafting separate teams you're at the four spot I'm at the 10 spot I know that draft strategies can fluctuate here or there depending on what the league is interpreting for you what's your game plan here heading into Early Rounds the fourth overall pick well I think generally you want to be in the first part of the draft because that's where the elite running backs are and I think there's more or less three of them I feel comfortable with and then it kind of drops down a tier so when you are picking fourth overall you are going to be able to pick them uh Christian mcaffry goes first here then we have some of the elite wide receivers I like Bree Hall over bejon Robinson I just have seen him be an absolute Superstar so I will be drafting Bree Hall here but really just comes down to I think I going to feel comfortable about the wide receivers I'll be able to draft in the third and fourth round uh so that's going to be my game plan here if you are able to choose your draft slot on sleeper you want to be somewhere in the top six more than any other platform they actually have the running backs ranked later in their default ADP which is what most of the people in your draft are going to be selecting off of I mean CMC is at two then you have what Bree Hall and bean Robinson at 56 or even 67 we're at number 10 and eighth overall player and I'm on rosing Brown is here so no doubt the end of round one the wide receiver value is going to be best you can still think about running back here in round two but don't be afraid at the end of round one again where the wide receiver values are the best to go potentially a zero running back strategy here however the perfect plan for me has fallen into place with an Amon ra St Brown and Kiren Williams start I believe the public is a bit soured on Kiren Williams on other platforms on sleeper he's still going around this onew turn it's as simple as when he's healthy he is going to dominate this backfield and even if he loses two three four touches in comparison to last year he is the only other running back to hit that 20o Mark per game that Christian mcaffry did last year and as Hayden alluded to the top three are most likely to do that and then those are the who Define fantasy football season so kyen Williams is next for me yeah he's one of my highest drafted players this fantasy season so love that start for you over there in the second round this is where you see an occasional quarterback like Josh Allen goes to me that's a little bit too early want to hang out hang around with the running backs and wide receivers once again so Derrik Henry he's in a void for me in this range Travis etn he's another running back that's an avoid to me it's a little bit too early for them I prefer Devon Anan in the second round here it's either Devon aan or one of these wide receivers you have the Chris laes brand auk but I think that wide receiver tier is pretty wide and I think that these like Elite level running backs dry up really early so I'm going to be drafting Devon hen here and go for the ceiling outcomes of with a player going into year two this is a massive turning point for people in their drafts because the early wide receiver values are kind of difficult and they you're in the first part of round one but then the wide receiv receiver values in round two and round three exactly where you are are fantastic however as we just alluded to 20 point per game running backs Define fantasy football seasons and to you and I despite other people disagreeing Devon hn has that possibility every single time he touches the field are you with me on I definitely am and I don't think he has to average anywhere near 20 fantasy points to be worth the selection here he's going to have some weeks where he pops off for 30 and that's all you need to win this week so uh into round three this is where I'm a little bit more open to Jaylen Herz if you do have adj brown already since I have drafted running back running back I'm desperate for wide receivers so I'm going to stick with them the best available Debo Samuel Nico Collins Jaylen Wadd I love all of them on this team I'm going to go with Debo Samuel jayen waddle is somebody I drafted a ton as well he goes even later than this like he's in the default rankings 34th overall he falls to you at the back half of the draft I on Underdog I've been drafting him in the second round totally Jaylen Wadd is one of like the most mispriced players based off the default adps completely with you we love to compare Underdog adps which have money at stake in every single draft versus something like sleeper where it's all your home leagues and the ADP is changing every single day just based on people at home drafting without money at stake in many instances and with that in mind I mean Drake London's going as the 15th player in Underdog niik Collins the 17th Jaylen wall the 19th BR auk the 26th you can get all those guys in round two and round three and I am so thankful here that I get to start Al on rth St Brown Ken Williams and then Jaylen W as the first three selections we are definitely going to go with the hero running back build and the wide receiver values still don't stop here yep Hayden because as we keep looping it around here we have the likes of DJ Moore or even if I wanted to go the fourth quarterback and of the elite territory in Lamar Jackson but I can't stop with these wide receivers again this is a singular running back start and three wide receivers we have to start the values on someone like Malik neighbors who has a chance of as a as a rookie leading his team and receiving being one of the most explosive wide receivers in the league I love to draft players on good teams I would make the accept for an elite player on maybe a below average offense when he has a talent like Malik neighbors yeah Malik neighbors he his default rankings across the board are a little too low we've seen in preseason he has the juice the question is can Daniel Jones get the ball to him but in round four I think that we have to let it rip uh before you make your selection Drafting RB Depth here Hayden I just want to ask this question you started running back running back things can change but when do you think you'll next select a running back this will be probably like round 8 n 10 somewhere in there I don't want to avoid the wide receivers uh that are going to be values here and I don't want to punt quarterback and tight end in my uh home League I want to have at least one uh quality player at each of those spots so I think I'm going to be pretty much done at the running back position until uh the rest of those positions have completely dried up that is a slight downside of going double running backs even if I love the talent of brall and Devon Anan that if someone does slide to at that position in round five and round six way after ADP it's still a toll void you can't even look at the spot you have to overload at wide receiver in my opinion if we're starting three on a weekly basis and that goes until round seven eight even round 10 yeah it really depends if you have like multiple Flex spots I do think that you can draft a third running back so it really depends on what your starting lineups could provide you in this one there is a flex spot so if there's a crazy running back value I'm willing to do that but for the most part it's going to be wide receivers and I also got lucky here Devonte Smith Falls he's the 44th player here on Underdog I've seen him go in the second round as well so that's another reason in the third round if you want to go Jaylen Herz on sleeper you can get Devon Smith in the fourth round that's impossible to do there so Devonte Smith's going to be my wide receiver spot so I can get back in the mix of drafting a bunch of receivers you mentioned he's the 44th ranked player here on sleeper he's the 28th overall player on Underdog so fantastic value there okay round five most if not all of Middle Rounds the elite quarterback names have been selected unless you want to go in the direction of Anthony Richardson here so at the top of the queue it's Trey McBride Dalton concade Anthony Richardson plus another running back I actually want to go with Trey McBride who is often a fourth round player on Underdog that's where I have him ranked it also helps me set up potentially we'll see how it goes Kyler Murray with the stack I think that we want to be setting up Stacks Even in our home leagues as well you get points if if Kyler Murray scores a a touchdown to Tre McBride will gobble up both of those points I just think that I don't want to wait too long with these onesie spots either I was slightly nervous about how my team would shake out here in the T selection because I actually think drafting at the end of round one is more difficult than the early part on something like sleeper but man Anon Richardson here uh at the end of round five it's going to be my selection again love T Higgins love Amari Cooper I don't mind even taking my fourth wide receiver here yep just to dominate the flex spot with wide receivers my eyes are also on James Connor if I did want to feel a bit more comfy and fill out my starting lineup at my double running backs and three wide receivers but I firmly believe that there's going to be a tier drop off a massive drop off between the likes of Lamar Jackson CJ strad and then down to Joe burrow and if you wanted to get kler Murray who I actually think is a really really solid pick around number 72 overall maybe you'll get him on the loop around but feel great about Anthony Richardson here in round five yeah his upside it's through the roof it is notable to me stad goes around before Anthony richon I think both of them are more like round five selections so that's where they sit I took a risk and it's always worthwhile to note the players on the teams that are drafting right after you if you're close to the turn I did take a risk when they each only have one running back just like me with James Connor wrapping around but I'm gonna be able to take James Connor here who I still firmly believe is the Workhorse back for the Arizona Cardinals an underrated offense in our eyes yeah I I love the Arizona Cardinals and what's good about them is the ball is only going to about three different players here so I was patient and I think I'm going to set up the stack with this one with Kyler Murray uh just after drafting Trey McBride like you said uh only one of the teams uh from picks one two and three have a quarterback so there is risk that I would lose Kyler Muran to me it's not worth losing that stack especially since I already don't have a quarterback and this is really where the Drafting Rookie WRs fun begins Xavier worthy should not be ranked 76th overall I think you can draft him in the fourth round luckily the default rankings have him so low and this is like one of the biggest points on on this video the rookie wide receivers are just too low lad makoni Brian Thomas you can scroll down further and find some really upside shots even like the last rounds of your draft but to me like Brian Thomas Xavier worthy these are two rookies that I think that can like completely change the landscape of fantasy draft so Xavier Worthy is a reason why was willing to go with Devon Anan in the second round because to me this is a wide receiver value that is basically as best as you're going to get on the entire platform on Underdog people love drafting first and second year wide receivers that means on all these other platforms they're going to feel like absolute Steals and one has come back to me here in Rashi rice and there was a moment this offseason maybe when you're watching this video we have more secure closure on this that he would miss games it doesn't seem like that could happen and if if it does maybe one or two uh but Rashi rice is someone that I would be willing to take a full round ahead of his current ADP on sleeper other platforms here he's going as the 83rd overall player uh that's an instant selection for me and I already have Hayden I already have my quarterback two running backs three wide receivers plus my Flex fi and like you said this is where I firmly believe you can really diverge from ADP and do whatever you want and follow whatever content creators or rankings or the players you want to follow and have fun in who you select yeah I think generally I like a balanced approach here and saving a couple spots for these wide receivers because we have even more wide receiver values coming up on deck and one thing I wanted to mention again look at the teams right after you I knew one of them had already selected Kyle pittz and I saw to values at tight end and Brock Bowers and end David and joku and Late Rounds so I was willing to take the risk of just one of them being selected so I would have the other one back as my next selection and I actually rank David and joku ahead of Brock Bowers as you have talked about consistently it was what from week eight on he was the top scoring tight end in his position uh yes portion of that was with Joe flacko it's also the change in this offense of how they evolved without Nick chub and it's G like David and joke is my starting tight end yeah he's my most drafted tight end this year I feel very comfortable with with it uh going back here I'm just going to go right over to Brian Thomas for like the same reasons I was talking about with with Xavier worthy you could in theory wait even longer for these guys but the value to me is like so obvious that I don't want to get too greedy here and I definitely needed a wide receiver to get back on track in the ninth round this is where I probably don't want to draft another onesie I already have try McBride and Kyler Murray those two should get me through at least to the last couple rounds of the draft so it goes back to running backs and wide receivers there's players like Devin single ter javante Williams that I feel pretty good about being like Flex cand early on or I can go chase some ceilings at other positions I think I'm going to do the thing with going to Devon single ter get me back in the flex spot I was I was been very patient getting my third running back after going gree Hall Devon H and going waiting all the way to the round nine to get uh Devin single ter um and I should feel pretty good about my running back group at this point okay I am somewhat boxed out of wide receiver that are the values at least on sleeper at this moment I could go Brian Robinson and have this Flex idea at the running back position with Kiren Williams and James Connor that's a possibility in my mind along with Taj Spears but again if we're talking about values courland Sutton even though I have to scroll down just a little bit here to be my fifth wide receiver on this team is something I feel very comfortable in especially again with the idea of I could go with a few different directions at that running back spot if I wanted to and I want to continue to hammer out these these wide receiver values unless I see a split backfield that so many people are scared of I actually want to run to and to shock Hayden I'm gonna go with Chase Brown here as my running back three a general rule draft a Cowboy draft a Bengal running back and see what happens we know those offenses are good their running backs don't get drafted until after uh the Double Digit rounds here so Zach Moss Chase Brown Rico dowle at 141st overall is another name to consider and you know what since I brought him up I'm gonna go with Rico D I think that there's a chance you can even wait after this uh if if your league doesn't know that much ball and doesn't know who Rico dowle is I think you can wait even longer than this but he has plenty of explosiveness and he's attached to the offense that scored the most points last year so this is like the kind of range I want to take an upside shot with I want to emphasize that if you're drafting sleeper someone like courin Sutton is being selected at 94th overall over on Underdog again lots of money important 8p over there versus here you could see is round 10th round was he was selected and then as you said Ric D 121 ADP over an underdog and you can easily select that in round 10 or round 11 here over on sleeper I'm goingon to go back to a boring pick here I only have four wide receivers two of them are rookies with high upside if there's a veteran that I like that can just give me a little bit of value early on in the year I want that and to me that's Josh Palmer who I think has a chance to be the wide receiver one for the Chargers to open the season we'll see if lad makoni who's also a good value here is going to earn more snaps as the season progresses but I think in week one Josh Palmer should be a pretty reliable Target uh with the Chargers okay just to look at the board right now wide receivers not totally thrilled with them the likes of jacobe Meyers Mike Williams Xavier Legette Jerry Judy rashed Shahed even Gabe Davis are here I'm going to go with chuba hubard and the reason being is I mentioned that we have a split backfield there in Cincinnati again easy to attack that and the Dallas Cowboys since both of those teams are going to be top 10 in scoring in points this year chuba hubard has underrated early season potential and early season value we've already seen a whole bunch of these other running backs that are uncertain starts to their season Trey Benson Blake korm already go off the board and chuba hub's almost the inverse of that where he's going to see most of his work early on and I I just want those firm points if I need them at this spot and I think it's a really good value to get someone like Juba hubard and then when we drop down to the 12th round hey and I have both concocted a super secret let's say when it comes to sleeper okay when you go the tight end position I think this works for me better than a does Hayden who drafted a tight end a little bit earlier since I drafted mine in the eighth round after the elite name Tamm Hill has both quarterback and tight end eligibility here and what we saw from taes Hill in this most recent preseason game haen was a lot of real true running back usage right and there's no depth uh in New Orleans at running back he was used as a fullback at the goal line in the first preseason game they had him at X wide receiver there's just not a lot of depth in New Orleans I know it's a new coaching staff but the new coaching staff also has the tesm hill fetish so I think like your last couple rounds here if you have punted tight end he's the one where one two things break and then all of a sudden he's going to be a game breaker in fantasy so I think you can wait a while for this but if you are panicking at tight end there's a chance that tesm Bench Stashes Hill could just bail you out I'm on the clock next and there's actually some wide receivers that I still like Mike Williams Brandon Cooks Gabe Davis those are like the veterans that will get you points I just drafted Josh Palmer who I think could kind of do the same thing if you want to dream bigger one of myv sleepers is davien Wix he's 157th in the default rankings on Underdog he does go uh earlier than that there's playing time concerns with the Packers but if that shakes out you and I both believe in davien Wicks the player and that offense could be pretty sweet so he's like a perfect guy draft him keep him on your bench for as long as you can and see how the playing time shakes out okay we're about to close out the final few rounds here any names that people should keep in mind yeah very last round Andre Yoshi Vos is like I think his ADP is like 546 Andre Yoshi Vos there's a chance that he's the starting slot wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals he they were just resting him in the preseason he's a big and athletic slot wide receiver so Andre yosias stands out tank Bigsby there's a bunch of rookie running backs in the last parts of your draft I think just generally if your draft is in middle of August I think you want to not draft a kicker not draft a defense take a chance on one of these upside guys and then right before week one kicks off drop your worst player on your bench and then draft your kicker then you draft your defensive player so I like to take these upside shots later on uh instead of filling that spot with a kicker and one more I thr out there Ray Davis being selected 169 overall here on sleeper Ray Davis has a great chance of being an important impactful player for the bills immediately not saying he's going to take away from James Cook in between the 20s but we've never seen this team trust James Cook inside of the 10 yard line they've tried Damon Harris there they've tried the Murray there and they have none of those old guys anymore and it's just this 25-year-old rookie in Ray Davis uh who to me has been running really solidly in preseason so he already has some individual value that even has potential contingent value if something does happen to James Cook all right any closing words here for the people there's too many wide receiver values for me to like stick with the Zero running back approach I went running back running back start you did a more traditional hero RB those would be my two favorite ways to build teams just because we kept naming a fun wide receiver that we liked literally the entire draft so I'm willing to push my wide receivers a little bit more on sleeper than some of the other platforms just because I can keep naming guys that I could be uh in line for some sweet starts and if you can't
