MLB The Show 24: Minnesota Twins vs Kansas City Royals simulation game livestream

since we last did a MLB the Show simulation game of the week and we got a matchup in Kansas City AL Central division rivalry between the the Kansas City Royals and the Minnesota Twins we'll see Freddy fine come in to catch and Paul D young will come in to play Third Base so two substitutional um tonight for two uh defensive Replacements start off the game what's going on everybody I'm your man Josh R back at it again with some more MLB the Show simulation games of the week I uh I think the last game we did was back on August 4th it was between the uh the Cardinals and the Cubs now about a month later we're back doing this series I apologize for taking almost a month off from doing this series but we're back and make sure real quick that we are alive oh yeah we are alive okay we're good Carl Santana leads off count is two and one from Cole Reagan that is it to be taken for ball three got to fix my uh my talking peace my headset there's a ground ball to First nice play by guriel that's out number one and we'll take a look at the lineup in this one set up by Roco Bal Deli in the Minnesota Twins Carl Santano is the lead off hitter he's at first batting second is the DH Royce Lewis Jose Miranda hits third he's the third baseman Matt walner hits clean up he's in right field Kyle farmer bats fifth he's the short stop batting six is the center fielder Austin Martin Christian Vasquez behind the plate today he bats seventh batting eighth in left field Trevor lnage and batting ninth the second baseman Edward julan take a look at the defense around the horn in this one for the Royals Z guel he's at first second base is Michael Massie Third Base it was originally going to be um who is the original third baseman going to be it was originally going to be Michael Garcia but Paul D young came in last minute in the outfield for Bobby wtz short in the Outfield from left to right Tommy Fs in left center fielder is Kyle elizel Robbie grman is in right field and the catcher that is not Salvador Perez behind the plate that is instead Freddy for me here's Roy Lewis big swing and a miss on a curveball the count is 0 and one uh we usually do the simulation games at 7:00 Central Time however uh with the uh Friday Night Football game tonight between the Eagles the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers they're going to be in Brazil tonight I don't really want anybody to you know Miss that game you know I want them to be able to watch this game so uh I kind of want to watch the game too so that's why we're doing this at almost 5:30 uh should have put the quick counts on that way we could have gotten through this game a little quicker but it's fine usually these streams usually take like an hour long uh we should be good to go Jose Miranda's good good friend Royce Lewis I don't know why I said Jose Miranda but Jose Miranda's on Deck Royce Lewis is at the plate Minnesota Twins Kansas City Royals two teams fighting for a wild card spot in the American League there's a blooper in a left field that's going to be a base hit and that is going to be the first hit of the ball game I can promise you that is not Roy Lewis's first hit he he has several uh several hits he's been in the he's been in the league for a couple years now I believe that bring in Jose Miranda I think we've already done a couple simulation games with both the Royals and the twins we did one earlier in the summer between the Royals and the white socks here at coffin stadium and then we also did a Twins game in a Target Field against the Red Sox we're going to do a few more simulation games of the regular season and then we're going to the playoffs there's a ground ball to Bobby Whit it short that is out number two mat w rner at second two outs here's Matt Walmer inside ball one b curveball misses ball two a lot of excitement going on in Kansas City and both baseball in football of course football's back we had the Thursday night game last night between the Ravens and the Chiefs man what a game that was and then so we had the Chiefs pulling off a win at home yesterday and now we'll see if uh the Royals the Royals will try and do the same here against the twins deep fly ball a center catch made by Kyle Isel we go to the Royals half of the first Inning on the mound it's supposed to be uh Matthews but we got Pablo Lopez pitching instead because why not and we're also going to see some uh some changes in the in the twins Outfield Willie Castro comes in to play left field for Matt Walmer take a look at the Deep the starting lineup for the Royals after this Tommy fam at bat Tommy fam already on his third team in 2024 he was with the White Soxs to start off the year he spent all of August with the Cardinals and then they DFA him and the Royals end up claiming him so looks like he'll try and help out the Royals with their uh playoff push count is two and one to the veteran left fielder big swing in a miss the counts two and two two big swing and a miss Pablo Lopez with a strike out to lead off the game or the bottom of the first [Applause] inning that'll bring in Bobby Whit Jr been asked if we were going to do an MLB the Show simulation of the playoffs oh you bet you bet we are now the question is I'm I'm not too sure how it's going to go because like I kind of want to F follow just like two series I'm not really sure how it's going to go with with uh school and and all that type of [Applause] stuff but uh we'll figure out a way we'll figure something out counts one and two to Bobby Whit Jr no outside the new face of the Royals franchise outside of Salvador Perez backto back strikeouts for Pablo Lopez batting thir the catcher two outs now here's Freddy fine it was originally going to be savador Perez behind the plate but uh Royals decided last minute to pull Perez from the game and bring in Freddy fine you know nothing wrong with seeing Freddy play today but uh kind of wanted to see salvi not going to lie kind of wanted to see Sav PR play in the left field catches made we go to the top of the second no score here at coffin Stadium thewin Kyle fer Kyle farmer Austin Martin and Christian Vasquez all for the Minnesota Twins here in their half of the second fast ball taken strike one B No 1 [Applause] two count is two and two to Kyle farmer utility guy can play short he can play second pretty much all of the infield he's played almost the entire Outfield and he even came up with the with the Reds as a catcher there's one in the left field and it's going to be a fair ball Farmer on his way to second the throw in from left is way off and farmer will stay put at second leads off the second with the double and now bring in Austin Martin don't know why he keeps saying it's his first hit C armer has been in the league for quite a while uh they'll probably all say that for everybody I'm not too sure why as Austin Martin takes a circle change for a strike counts nothing in one from the royals left-hander Cole Reagan that's a grounder to short Bobby WTS throw it a first in time that's out number one however that will move Kyle farmer over to third no that's the ball count is two and0 to Christian Vasquez runner at third longtime Houston Astro and this year he's been with the Kansas City Royals looks like has a younger brother who's still playing 21 L guel currently with the Arizona Diamondbacks imagine if we get a Royals Diamondbacks World Series that'd be pretty fun count guel fouls this off and the count remains three and two fouled off once more fouled off once more and guel ear doing anything he can to keep this that back going a big swing in a miss another strikeout for Pablo Lopez guel goes down swinging and that will bring in Robbie Gman he's he's been with the he's been with the Rangers the Tigers pretty sure he was a twin at at one point and now he's with the Kansas City Royals grman it seems like he's kind of like Tommy fam seems like he switches teams more than I do um underwear counts one and will be the show 24 simulation games continue are back after a month a month off the the last time we played it was the a Cubs and Cardinal stream at Wrigley Field so about a month later after recovering from a very from having to watch my favorite team bles I'm back I am back I am alive I am fine I'm [Applause] fantastic 1 minute love you top of the third one out Kyle Isel makes a nice play in center field that will bring in Carlos [Applause] Santana ball no that's it no that's too high ball two to caros Santana don't usually think he was I don't really know if Carlos s has ever really been you know a lead off hitter not really someone you think of in the leadoff spot but uh for today Bal deli's got him got him in the leadoff spot today instead of Royce Lewis or Matt wner or somebody two and two to Santana as he fouls that one off scores one nothing twins that was the one run of the game so far came on a sack fly hit by Christian Vasquez up next for Minnesota and another Austin Martin he makes a catch that's out number two I apologize this may not be the most entertaining game this may end up being a very low-scoring game but who cares sometimes the baseball can be uh secondary at times and you know the announcers can just have a little conversation I don't know how you guys are where it's like the announcers commentating is secondary and the game is primary or you know vice versa or if you're ever watching like sports gaming YouTubers or anything like that I'm just talking to myself and uh live streaming on my PlayStation and Pablo Lopez picks up another strikeout into four here coffin Stadium don't go anywhere more Friday night baseball coming up we played Four Innings of baseball here at kopman Stadium it's our Friday night simulation game of the week between the Kansas City Royals and the Minnesota Twins and then our Sunday night game it will be in down in Houston for the first time this season we to watch the Astros take on the Arizona Diamond Backs and then for the rest of the simulation games for the rest of the for the rest of the month there will not be a game Friday because I'm going to be going home for on Friday because my uh high school football teams having their first home game Friday the 13th so there will be no game that day uh Sunday September 15th we'll be back and we're going to try and do a Red Sox Yankees game we haven't really done one yet this year I feel kind of kind of sad disappointed that I haven't been able to do one yet so that's what that's going to be our Sunday game on the 18 and then our Friday night game on the 20th we're going to watch uh Cubs in the Nationals or actually no we'll go to Cincinnati watch the Reds and Pirates September 22nd will be our Sunday night game will be the the Rangers and and the Mariners maybe if not then we'll do Cubs and Nationals one of the two and then for our Friday night game on September 27th we'll go down to oh we'll probably do um excuse me I'm joking ball Full Count sorry September 27th Mets and Brewers and then for our final um yes Sun Satur night game we will do the Giants and Cardinals in San Francisco another strike out for Cole Reagan then we'll do the playoffs and then we're going to switch over to Madden and we'll do all of our Madden [Applause] stuff I know some people might ask why am I waiting to to get Madden um I'm currently playing college 25 I mean I I have college football I'm really in no hurry to get man 25 a lot of people are saying that man 25 is like oh it's better than colle football and like I said before I know a lot of people who who are like PC PE Gamers and they're upset that college football 25 didn't come out on uh on PC I mean yeah that yeah it sucks that it didn't come out on PC but that's not my fault [Applause] don't blame me blame EA Sport and if you don't like that um I'm playing C football 25 then uh then don't watch it simple don't watch it just like if you don't like my M will be the show streams don't watch them I get it baseball is not for everybody baseball can be a very slow sport sometimes like if you think this like this game is slow oh sister go to an actual game those are [Applause] problem they don't pay you for your defense defense they just uh they pay you for your bat then again uh guel is like 40 years old 40y olds aren't exactly the greatest you know first baseman you know unless if they're like aubert pools or something then then again when aubert pools was 40 years old playing first base his defense wasn't really the best either but ah who cares it's this isn't exactly the most exciting game ever you know scoreboard wise the one run in this game came on a sack fly that was hit in the second inning there have been four hits in this entire game two from the twins two from the royals but we're getting a beautiful pitching performance by both Cole Reagan and Pablo Lopez you know that's one thing this might end up being Cole Reagan's um last inning though depending on what the Royals uh plan on doing with them they could probably let him pitch the eight if not then he'll probably be pulled Royals bullpen I think is already getting loose same uh with the with the twins Bullen so uh we might see paavo Lopez's night come tune in very soon counts one and two [Applause] [Applause] [Music] that's in the right center field this Ball's down what a way to start it off for the royals here in the home half of the seventh fry fine getting the third hit in this game for Kansas City [Applause] strike one to NJ Melendez the Royals DH here tonight he inning 02 count to Austin Martin that's it down the line it's going to be a foul ball we got a tight game here at Kaufman Stadium twins RBI came on a sack fly hit by um Christian Vasquez who's on deck and then um Royals just scored in their half of the seventh to tie the game up at one but other than that it's been a beautiful pitching matchup pitchers duel I'd say so Pablo Lopez seven Innings he allowed four hits a run one walk 11 strikeouts 1.29 ER at the end of the game pretty good 11 strikeouts love to see that Cole Reagan seven Innings he allowed two hits a run and had nine strikeouts so still a very great uh good pitching matchup I'd say so both teams I think with really solid pitching especially the Royals that could possibly help them out make a deep you know playoff push this October who knows well just I I hope and pray they better hope and pray they don't get the Astros in the in the playoffs then then they'll be in trouble but I don't know we'll see baseball is a very unpredictable sport you know uh you can't predict baseball [Applause] sometimes 36547 people in attendance in this ball game tonight lots of Royals fans a lot of twins fans May the drive down from St Paul and Minneapolis to come down to Kansas City Missouri and watch the Royals and the twins there's a strike out for Steven Cruz we go to the home half of the eighth inning the score is one twins one and the all right we're [Music] [Applause] back that's in a left field and Castro can't make the catch the Young's on his way to second another leadoff double another leadoff hit for the Kansas City Royals late in the game we got a couple people tuning in great time to tune in the Royals look like they're about to do something gar hson coming in to pinch run at second for Paul D young and then he'll probably come into the uh the top of the ninth and play Third Base Cole Sands I forgot to mention he's with the new pitcher out of the Minnesota Bullpen here's a 1-1 to Kyle Isel fast ball one and two is the count when this game's over we're going I'm going to uh get ready for the uh Green Bay Packers Philadelphia Eagles game it's going to be taking place tonight in Brazil comment down below who you guys think is going to win that game I think it'll be a fun game I think it'll be a very good game uh I really want to see the Packers upset the Eagles but something tells me that uh the Eagles offense might be a little too much for Green Bay defense I don't know we'll see isbo strikes out looking on a splitter one out Packers end up uh improving a lot on the defense this year they got a new defense coordinator Jeff hofley and then they also got um Xavier mckenny from the Giants to be one of their new safeties it's kind of weird cuz I remember when the Packers got Xavier mcken people were calling him a veteran and it's weird because he's like 24 years old and people are calling him the veteran people in baseball a lot of rookies in baseball make their debut at 24 Aaron judge and pet Alonzo rookie Seasons uh when they were were when they were 24 years old so like hearing somebody you know being referred to like a 24-year-old being referred to as a veteran I mean that's uh I don't know it's I mean that's just a little uh a little random a little weird Rocco belli going for the attentional walk against Bobby Whit Jr uh-oh looks like somebody is a big gigantic [Applause] didn't want the uh the star player to get a good hit a big hit big highlight for this game first and second two out ready for me and one for three what are you going to do pal Jack Swing and he went around says the first base umpire count is one and two got him take first the and now load him up [Applause] [Applause] Bas is loaded two outs Mendez fouls this off and the counts still nothing in two Ro him out and the bases are going to be stranded why did I say it like that sorry struck him out and the Royals leave the bases stranded there's Garrett Hampton playing third base for the Royals entering the top of the ninth stepen Cruz still out there on the mound we could see a uh a possible walkoff or a game possibly going into Extra Innings depending if the on what the twins do here in their half of the ninth inning fast ball taken strike two ball one ball two stries for onew julan pops it up in the center as bull comes in he makes the play and that's out number one one out here in the ninth here's Carlos Santana [Applause] ball one to the veteran first baseman Carlos Santana was with the Indians for a long time was called up as a catcher and then moved over to first base there's a base hit in the left field Santana staying put at first it's a one out single he picks up his first hit first hit of the game for Carlos Santana here in the ninth and that'll bring in Royce Lewis ball one ball no that's upall it's inside ball two Royce Lewis top of the ninth one out runner at first game TI at one all three r umpire calls ball three Jose Miranda on Deck hopefully this game end soon I want to watch some uh Packers and Eagles in Brazil ball four to Royce Lewis and now bring in Jose Miranda Jose Miranda has done nothing with the bad all game he flew out to uh actually know he grounded out to short in the first and then he struck out a couple times once in the fourth once in the seventh fast ball taken for a strike 0 and two Royals could be possibly looking for a double play to get out of it that is in the left field and this is going to drop for a base hit Santana's being waved home and the twins take a two to one lead Jose Miranda was hitless all game he comes up clutch for the Minnesota Twins and just like that they're back on top it's is two to one here's Matt walner just like hosen Miranda he's done nothing with the bat blew out to Cent struck out [Applause] twice that's it down the line that's going to be a foul ball counts one and [Applause] one Roy Lewis is at third Jose Miranda at first [Music] ball three takes a slider ball [Applause] three strikes out for out number two two outs here in the top of the ninth here's Kyle farmer takes a strike nothing in one Kyle farmer as we mentioned before utility guy he can play short he can play Third second first he came up with the Reds as a catch sure he can even play The Outfield he's even pitched a couple times that from what I remember I remember seeing him on the mound a couple times you know doing some pitching for for the Twins and he strikes out to end the top of the ninth bottom of the ninth inning coming up the twins take a two to one lead on an RBI single hit by Jose Miranda will the Royals answer back just wait around and find out Michael tonan what a name comes in to try and get the save he's got a two seamer gets in the mid 90s from 92 97 milph Sinker same thing mid 90s and then he also has a slider hopefully that slider comes in handy sometimes you know you need to have a a a good old handy handy dandy slider that's what uh uh Abraham Lincoln said uh before he freed the slaves you have to have a a handy dandy slider as a as a strike three pitch there's a grounder to short throw a first in time it's out number one and all of you at the sense of humor would know that uh the Abraham Lincoln quote that that that's that's just a joke or or is it a joke you know I'm I'm from Illinois and uh there's a lot of uh history here here in Illinois with uh with Abraham Lincoln [Applause] in a deep left field catch is made by Castro and just like that the Royals are down to their final out so all up to Michael Massie to try and keep the game going [Applause] the ball that is L ball [Applause] twoo no that's the ball 3oh pitch from tonan to Massie and a four pitch walk keeps the game [Applause] going and that will bring in Garrett hson first that bad of of the uh the ball game came in to pinch run for uh Paul the young and now here he is making his first the first bat of the game second Pitch is fouled off on the two seamer and it's nothing and two last chance for the Royals to try and keep things going here against the twins hson down to his final strike the pitch low ball one struck him out and the ball game is over and the Minnesota Twins win it here on the road two to one the final score here at Kaufman Stadium Jose Miranda was uh the hero of the game he had an RBI single in the top of the ninth to give the twins a 2 to1 win over of the
