welcome everyone and glad to have you with us from Williams Bryce Stadium home of the South Carolina Gamecock cocky and all of his friends ready to go and amped up for what we have in store what an exciting matchup we have in store for you this afternoon built around the pageantry tradition and everything that makes college football great as we'll see a squad from the Sunbelt the Old Dominion monarchs taking on a team from the SEC the South Carolina game Cops for EA Sports college football I'm ree Davis David Pollock and Jesse Palmer with me guys it's time to get it [Applause] going and the Gamecock will put total weather to crank us up here he comes from inside his own five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 so the Old Dominion monarchs offense will take the first swing of the game and here comes this quarterback this entire offense is built around him he is the engine of the entire team I mean he's the leader he's the alpha everybody looks towards him he's been doing it all year long everybody believes in this young man big opportunity big stage and he's lucky to get that one back this junior quarterback knows better than to try that too often good job on defense getting a hand on it tipping it up in the air they weren't able to pick it off but they do Force the [Applause] incompletion this crowd bringing the energy and noise early from the shotgun the hand off to the back out across the 20 to the 21 yd line a three yd gain I like feeding my guy I like getting my running back touches the ball so he can break some of those big runs but I'm also okay with these little ones set the tone stay balanced the monarchs want to move quickly he'll pull it on the read he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three nice job playing assignment football by that defensive end knowing what my job is not letting that back get out get loose making a good play and most importantly being there in the right spot and getting him on the ground and the monarchs decide to punt it away the punter going to get his first work of the afternoon surprisingly makes a fair catch just outside the 40 yd line the Gamecock offense will get the ball for the first time here are our impact players for this game and it goes beyond executing an assignment to make an imp Imp in the game yeah obviously we were talking to both coaching staffs this week and we asked them who needs to step up and play well they immediately pointed to these guys right here they are the key for their respective teams yeah and they don't always show up in the Box Score but these are the guys are the leaders these are the guys getting everybody organized and have to play well for their team to succeed didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and [Applause] 11 gives it to the back on the draw continuing to turn turn and move it forward and they're closing in on Midfield it's down at the 48 offensive linemen love when you sneak in draws when you sneak in screens it holds these defensive Lin and accountable you want to rush the quarterback you put to fly up field every single play we'll sneak right behind you and get some yardage no huddle here for the [Applause] offense it's a draw and the defense knew exactly where that first down line was and they stopped him short the Gamecock will bring the punt team onto the [Applause] field a fairly short distance here toward the sidelines not his best work ODU ready to send the offense back onto the field that last Drive won't go on the Highlight Reel after ending in a punt they'd like to be more productive this time David and I think this offense has to be a little bit more balanced find a little balance between the Run Jesse and working in that pass and I think too David it's just going to take a spark it just takes one play to get this thing picked up and gone after the nyd pickup on first down here's second and one Wilson to [Applause] pass takes the easy completion he stopped almost immediately didn't get much but he didn't need much they've got the first down I just love quarterbacks that aren't greedy and that aren't always trying to throw the Home Run ball right second down you're in your own end of the field the guy you want to throw to's not open just find the bat he'll go do something positive with it this guy is a weapon and you got to find him in the passing G going up top on first down going for it all makes a connection not a big window and that throw was money and they've got it at the 30 I'll tell you what that's great execution between the QB and receiver they looked like they could execute that throw in their sleep quarterback took his steps threw it on time great route by the receiver nice job securing the catch the monarchs come to the line in the hurry up movement here from the ti in power football with the Run that's 20 he's got space he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense and here we go if you're an offense you got to get that ground gain going so you can have some balance and then you give it to your quarterback Palmer and let him make some plays down the field later off yeah exactly you know coming into this game this offense knew they were going to have to some way someh at least establish a semblance of a running game for exactly what you just said you got to be able to use play action pass later in this game to get some explosive plays down the field and it's a play like that that we just saw which can help them get that going let's see what they've got on second [Applause] down quarterback on the keeper got some room headed to the goal line he rumbles all the way down to the two yd line he gave him a little bit of everything on that one man what a luxury when you got a quarterback like this that you can run designed run with just gives such an advantage in the numbers game in the box and it's not as if that surprised this defense defensive coordinator knew all week it was coming and still it was effective and knowing it's coming and being able to catch a guy like that that runs remember that's not a quarterback that's a running back back are two different things all together you know I really like this QB running the football because I know he's got a lot of speed but he's not the biggest guy in the world so he's not going to be able to break a lot of tackles you really got to do a good job of trying to scheme ways to get him out in more space they'll run the option and he'll race it to the house touchdown monarchs it's just so nice to have a signal caller who can make through the air and make plays with his feet like this runs in for the touchdown the defense knows I have to account for him every play that's my [Music] quarterback lining up for the pat and the extra point makes it seven nothing so the touchdown Drive goes 63 yds and they finish it off with a short Plunge Into The End Zone almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown and he takes this from inside the five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 and the South Carolina offense is back on the field off the play fake on first down to throw and the throw downfield winds up incomplete and there's a good reason for that this guy was being mugged by the defender and the defender just way too handsy on that last play you could see all the contact as the ball was in the air you simply can't do it and the referee's caught they ride the running back and leave it with him and they're getting it rolling with that play to the 42 yd line when you talk about creating big plays in the running game like this this makes the game really easy actually when you got a guy like this that you can hand it to with this much speed and elusiveness just hard to bring down in the open field what a big gain for the offense and the Gamecock racing to the line in the hurry up he's going to pass oh he's going to try to hit him over the top and they weren't able to make the connection they were looking for an explosive play well I like this quarterback being aggressive and taking a shot there's a better play there by the defense and the incompletion brings up a second down for this offense he leaves it with his back Jes his way for more and he's able to bounce off one tackle for a solid pick up when running backs Square their shoulders up it's when they have the most power you see him Square his shoulders up break tackles be strong continue to plow his way forward just making it really easy on everybody in this offense by breaking tackles after the last run would you just give it to him again on third down trying to pick it up on the ground he breaks a tackle brought down just outside the Red Zone he moves the chains it's at the 22 you know they Pride themselves on being physical at the point of attack dominated at the line of scrimmage nice job there picking up the first down the Gamecocks are moving quickly down the [Applause] field wants to throw on first down dumps it to the back and the physical play there forces the incompletion on first down you know it's difficult for QB sometimes when you're throwing to your running backs because they're not receivers you really got to be perfect with the ball placement you got to make that a catchable throw a little bit too tough for the RB on that one after the incompletion it's second down it's reverse that play just never had a chance they knock him down for a loss of five great discipline by the back side of the defense this is my Gap this is where I'm supposed to be ball goes away so be it I got to stay home stays home makes a great play for a loss they're close enough for a makeable field goal from the 26 but they'd love to convert this third and long the Freshman quarterback very fortunate for that one to fall incomplete and the offense got themselves in a tough situation third and long so hard to execute especially when the field starts the shrink but the good news is they got a field goal in their back pocket they'll try to salvage a field goal on this drive this might be a little easier if it were straight on but a 43 y from the right hatch and the kicker delivers the three to salvage that drive so after putting three on the board the kickoff team is out there ready to boot it away he'll bring it back from inside the spot he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 Old Dominion has the ball back the monarchs will send the offense onto the field they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one you see all this movement in football now all the stem in the defensive line they're sliding right before the snap creating confusion for the offensive line then they're moving back and stunting really good job by the defense continue to move continue to stunt continue to get in the back field and make this life hard Wilson will throw quickly to the tight end they're able to get him stop just shy of the first down marker man down on the play as the officials take a break to let him be checked out better find the plugged here comes the noise backing this defense on third down on the option he'll toss it and they just didn't get anybody on that defense out of position and they will lose yardage on that one I love when you start bringing linebackers up near the line of scrimmage and you start sending them because those guys have serious speed they can come catch anybody up and down the line of scrimmage a linebacker you could tell he had a good clue what was going on he knew it was a run play fired pulled the trigger came downhill and attacked the running back he'll field the butt and see what he can get that's a perfect example of not settling for a fair catch pick up whatever yardage you can and help out the offense out of the gun they'll run it inside and he is just engulfed at the line by this giant defensive tackle man nowhere to run on that play at all about all you can is do better but that's the problem are they able to do better and that's why you keep trying things right keep trying to get on the perimeter running up the middle try different things to see what you do well he's going to pass on second down grab behind the line it's haror tackled almost immediately they're well short of the first down great play by the cornerback he was just way too physical at the point of attack he beat his man trying to block and he tackled that receiver on the scen and the Gamecocks in the hurry [Applause] up wide out in motion dropping back it's sellers the throw to the outside is complete finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down hard work pays off Guys these offenses work so hard hard week in week out working on those critical down and distances third downs and having that conversion this early in the game that's got to feel good for this off wants to throw on first down off the play fake and this is dropped oh my goodness it was just too easy and he didn't look it in man if you're going to win G games you have got to hit on the Home Run type plays and that was a great opportunity right there the receiver has got to be able to look that football in and make the catch couldn't get anything done on first down now second and 10 from the 46 leaves it with the back you know the runner just has to have a little bit more patience he bounced that thing outside a little too early and as a result lost yards if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum third and long and he'll try to throw for it using the back as a receiver on the screen defense was not Fool by that screen to the back and they'll stop him short of the marker it'll be fourth down that's perfectly fine if I'm a defense I'm going to give up some yards right there play deep react to shallow the running back catches the football I come up he gets a POS game but it doesn't matter cuz now I won third down and forced them on fourth down fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way the punt goes out of bounds and a nice job to get them backed up I think they'll spot it right around the 15 they'll come out on this drive and let it rip fires to the big fella on the move the 30 put it right on him sweet play good pickup and they'll move the change with the first down really good job working through his progression you get it to him quickly and the big tight end has a chance to run a little and a really good job by the QB throwing an accurate throw I I got to hit those guys on the Move On The Run so they can do this they can catch the football get up field and chew up some extra yards they'll go to the ground and the defense finally makes the stop after the sweet run and good gain when you run these counter type plays you're getting extra offensive linemen pulling at the point of attack opening up a crease for that running back to gash the defense and the monarchs are in the hurry up off play action on first down unloads to the wide out catch in the middle it's Williams he gets it to the 31 yd line a big play for this offense how many first downs is that just on this drive we're going to have to get the training staff to to give some IVs and get some bananas and we better stay hydrated because at this rate the defense is going to play way too many snaps the monarchs have it with a first and 10 got his man quickly he knew exactly where he wanted to go with that one and they've got enough for the first down one of the things that makes this guy so dangerous is how good he is after the catch if he's got any space around him he's able to burst he's able to make people miss and get extra yards for his offense you saw it right there down to the 16 yd line it's first and 10 the Red Zone he's going to throw it the short hands it's Butler he's all the way down to the 2yd line just spectacular execution there that throw and catch a really good example of why coaches don't want a quarterback to get stuck on a particular Target isn't it David yep that's exactly right find the guy who's open because you got so many guys that have so much speed that can do so much damage on the field find my matchup get it to him let him do the rest tur to the right running game on first and goal and he takes it in for the score touchdown ODU can these guys just score from anywhere out there after that drive it sure looks that way and that's what separates really good offenses from great offenses when you're backed up in a bad position and you can still fight your way out and go get you a touchdown that's a great drive by the offense lining up to tack one more onto that lead and the extra point makes it 143 so that scoring Drive took only six plays and finish the deal with the short touchdown run from the two the kickoff team out there set to boot it away looking for those open spaces and opportunity and the returner runs out of real estate as he goes down South Carolina ready to go on the attack in another offensive Odyssey they just didn't quite find the Rhythm on that last Drive Jesse they had to punt it I think they got to be more physical David I think up front they got to do a better job getting blocks in establishing this running game and how easy does football become if you're the more physical team if you can thre threaten the run and then then run play action it opens up the whole offense at your disposal the Gamecock want to pick up the tempo to the air it's sers and that's going to be incomplete a lot of contact on the play but no Flags it'll be third down and the big tight end a lot of times that's a bigger Strike Zone a bigger dude and you can tell they put the hit on him and that ball came out and it came to the her nice job playing physical by this defense looking for that first down on Third and short from the 28 motion from the offense they'll snap it from the gun on third down quickly complete able to work it to the 39 yd line and that'll be a first down he might have expected to see this DB up in his receiver's kitchen instead nice little Zone and they pick up the first man offenses are getting so good reys at seeing the holes in the zone knowing you're in zone knowing where to sit down how to make it an easy pitch and catch for the quarterback and that's what it was on Third and short guys Old Dominion has the lead here as we've reached the end of the quarter really strong performance so far to be able to build a lead here in the first period as we look at the stats now to see if they can answer this early Blitz here in the second quarter they'll snap it from the 39 first and 10 he's looking to throw it it's incomplete and he's lucky to get that one back almost intercepted well great job in coverage on the back end by the defense you just got to finish the play that should have been a pick couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again wide receiver coming across in motion looking for a gap it's Sanders he picks up four that'll leave them with third and six they'll try to snap it quickly scanning the field it's sers fires to the wide out complete in the middle he gets the job done on third down they move the chains it's at the 37 and listen the defense knew coming into this one they were going to Target him early and often he is a weapon and there's no mystery where the quarterback's going to be looking on critical down and distances let's see how they are able to cover him throughout the rest of this game he wants to throw he's got an open man touchdown game c and once he found daylight it was Katie Bar the Door baby quarterback's abilities to read the field is huge and also the anticipation the timing to be able to throw the football Jesse and hit a guy in stride so he can get run after the catch and get in the endzone that was a nice job by the quarterback yeah it's critical David listen a lot of times touchdown passes aren't throwing into the end zone you got to read the coverage hit the open guy and let him do the rest he'll try to tack on one [Applause] more and with the extra point every little bit counts as they get closer so it's a 77 yd touchdown drive and they put the points on the board with that 3 seveny touchdown pass the kickoff team on the field as they'll send this one away from inside his own 10 he'll try to help out their field position nice job executing all of the assignments as they put a stop to that return at the 22 comes out throwing on first down quickly out to the tight end and he's able to shed one tackle and gets a pretty good pickup well that's a nice job by the tight end there he's patient he fights his way through all the traffic in the middle of the field running that drag route making it an easy completion for the quarterback and the monarchs want to crank the tempo looking for space it's young oh that move is going to leave them dizzy and I don't care if I get it by two by 20 by 30 by 40 I I just I just want to get the first down understanding the uation understanding where the sticks are doesn't have to be sexy but I got to make sure I get to that stick get to the first down Mark they've got a first and 10 at the 34 they'll give it to him again and he runs through one tackle and picks up a few you want to talk about making it easy for an offensive coordinator you pick up a bunch of yards on first down make that second down really really manageable that's a great job by the offense than can really be aggressive after that last play it's second and three out of the shotgun they go to the ground he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three it's hard to run on a defense that comes off the ball like that and runs to the football like that good luck no holes anyway Here Comes This Home crowd as the defense tries to get off the field on third down from the gun they'll try to impose their running game he'll have enough for the first down and they stop him at the 45 looks as if we have an injury on that last play and we'll take a break to check him out the monarchs have their offense in high gear from the gun the G looking for room he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and a great job by the linebacker you could tell starting to crowd the line of scrimmage get up there in the line of scrimage see it diagnose it get in the back field get the running back on the ground for the tackle for the loss after losing a couple on that last play here's second and 12 they'll run it from the gun they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one and there was no SP nowhere to go that play went absolutely nowhere sometimes you just need a dude to show up and make a play and he did sometimes you just need to block that dude they didn't they've got a good chunk of ground to cover on Third and long from the 41 looking to throw and he needs a chunk play makes the grab inside the 30 flying down the left side he was working his way toward that goal line they'll stop him at the two after the big play up top well after that last play you can see how electrifying this guy is and how special he is after he makes the catch if I'm on offense I'm trying to find a lot of ways to get him touches in this [Applause] game and the monarchs will try to punch it in on first and goal [Applause] trying to pound it in there is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide on these situations you know the physical ground game comes into play inside the 5 yd line and they match the intensity nice job everybody flying around to the football making the tackle for a loss nice job by this defense can the defense stopped them again on second and goal [Applause] running play to the left looking for the End Zone here going right back to the well and this time he finds water gets it into the end zone for the touchdown the best running backs are the guys that can just sniff out the end zone that running back showed you all of his freakish ability on that play ling up to add another and with the extra point it's a 2110 game so it's an 80 yd drive and Clos the deal with a three- yd touchdown run kickoff team is on the field they'll try to drive this one deep he'll start the return inside his SP he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic that they get him on the ground at the 20 and the South Carolina offense is back on the field now they need to put something together to answer that last score there's a lot of pressure too on this offense to have to execute at a high level they've got to score points David but they can't go to too fast cuz their defense right now is tied and I think that's the difficulty being a play call like I have to balance all of those things my defense is a little bit tired I can't qu on the field but I got to be aggressive because this is a back and forth type game so a lot to process and think about and the Gamecock headed quickly to the line back to throw it's sers they've got the screen set up a 6yd pickup that leaves them with third and four nice Gainer on that running back screen how about the offensive line getting down field and getting blocks really help out the back find some space to go to work now looking for that first down on Third and short from the 26 from the gun wants to pass throws to the wide out it's caught down field he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down man what a big catch on third down going up catching the football understanding where you're at now getting a fresh set of downs nice play by the receiver the Gamecocks with the first and 10 the give to the tail back nice move there and that defense pushing him out out of bounds after a short gain and that's what you're trying to do as a defense limit those damages when they run the football get them on the ground short gains to set your defense for positive situations down the road got three on first down it's second and seven the give to the back really nice stop there from this senior leader looking to push the pace with the no huddle looking for a man it's sers excellent coverage and good use of the hands to knock away third and short like that on your own side of the field you're just looking for a quick hitter you're trying to get the ball out of your hand quickly but the timing completely off there for the offense and the ball Falls incomplete and the Gamecock will line up to punt it away a fairly short distance here toward the sidelines not his best work the punt goes out of bounds and a nice job to get them backed up I think they'll spot it right around the 15 he'll keep it himself and those are so frustrating when you're a defense and you swarm to the football and you stick the quarterback and you make him cough it up just to have the other team recover it again and you don't get it still a good stick still a good physical play keep hitting that quarterback the monarchs will hustle to the line from the gun the running back tries to hit the hole runs ahead and Powers his way for four yds out to the 30 and runs like that are like body blows in a boxing match four five six yd gains early turn into 20 30 40 yard gains later they really wear down defenses and they test their physicality solid pick up of four on first down it's second and six the run from the shotgun good solid pick up on that one they've got it out to the 40 and it's first down that has got to be demoralizing if you're on defense because they just ran the ball right up the middle down your throats and they gashed you now from the 40 it's first and 10 leaves it with the running back a most efficient pick up of six on first down it's second and four yeah this coaching staff they're getting this offensive line lathered up and into a rhythm now they're letting him drive off the ball on first down on these running plays and they're getting chunks of yardage got six on first down now a lot of options on second and [Applause] four they'll run it out of the shotgun makes the stop at the 49 give him five yards on the play and a first down well I know this is an offensive line that has a ton of Pride and they want to come out each and every game and really impose their will on the dline they got just enough push there on that run play to pick up the first no big secret what they're trying to do here they've kept it on the ground it's first and 10 can't hold on he had him right down the middle and he flat dropped just got to finish the play for the wide receiver you got to look that one in and complete it it's a bad drop that incompletion leads to Second down and [Applause] 10 from the gun the ground game you know runs like this often times are like a boxer and a boxing match obviously it's not a knockout punch but these are body blows and as the game goes on small gains are going to turn into longer runs Deb Rising as the crowd Gets behind this defense on third down Wilson to pass looking down the middle he got a hand in there knocks it away incomplete and on that third down play there just wasn't any timing between the quarterback as an intended target as a result ball Falls incomplete setting up for it and the monarchs will call on their punt [Applause] team able to keep them from getting a return and the ball goes out of bounds they're going to mark it right around the 20 South Carolina ready to go on the attack in another offensive Odyssey on the move it's Sanders stacked up after gaining a couple to the 23 that's a really good job by the defense wrapping him up getting him on the ground take away that run game make him onedimensional put him in passing situations really good job by the defense the Gamecocks moving quickly to the line the play action fake he lost it high and deep down the left side grabs it at the 25 in strike and he ran away from the crowd and he'll take it in touchdown game Cops you know sometimes as a play caller you just don't have to overthink things I've got a guy who's faster than your guys and he's just going to run straight down the field I'm going to throw it way down the field he's going to make the catch and we're going to score a touchdown and that's pretty much what just happened there on to attempt the try and they tack on the extra point to cut the lead to 217 aggressive play calling on that drive just two plays they get the long touchdown pass to pay it off kickoff team lining up to send this one away on the move from inside is five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 ODU ready to send the offense back onto the field and he drops it just a little too slippery in the hands well that is one the tight end is going to want to have back he was wide open on that play that's one he's got to make he's got to be able to make that catch the incomplete pass leaves him with second down Wilson will throw unloads to the wide out good quickness to grab it off the balance they got him free for a big gerain down to the 43 hey it's important on offense in the passing game you've got to have balance and I mean you got to be able to attack different thirds of the field you got to work the perimeter to both both sides you got to let the defense know too that you're not afraid to go over the middle they did right there that big play is just what they needed now they have it first and 10 just outside the 40 looking to move it through the air it's complete to the left he's right out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down man this quarterback is having a first half he's over yards already heating up setting up this dude might break his career high in passing I don't know what it is somebody get stats home the monards will snap it on First and 10 and off from the shotgun he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three don't you love energetic defenses that fly around that make things happen the ones that get in the back field the running back tries to go somewhere want him to go there there is nowhere to go nice job by the defense creating the tackle for a loss on first down and the monarchs want to move [Applause] quickly quarterback wants to throw on second down got a man it's Williams they bring him down but a solid pick up to put them in position to pick up a first down I like the decision by the quarterback here just get the ball out of your hands get it to your player a lot of times he'll dance and make even bigger plays than he did here but it was still a positive game headed to the line at the 23 trying to convert this third and short Wilson to pass looking for the end zone and he's got it touchdown Old Dominion talk about a breakdown in coverage that might be the easiest catch he'll have all day it doesn't get much easier than that except the hard about this is the walk to the sidelines because then you have to justify what happened and your defensive coach is going to be just just a smidge upset that you left that guy wide open in the end zone for the big play they'll try to add another to their lead and with the extra point they pushed the lead out a little further so that scoring Drive took only six plays and they finish it off with a touchdown toss from the 23 they're just about ready to kick it away on the run from inside his own five couldn't find a way to create that broken field as he stopped at the 25 first down here with time for maybe one more play until the two-minute warning toss sweep right on the nasty move and now he's got room finds that crease and he's got four out to the 29 we've reached a two-minute warning and this thing has been one-sided and they hope to at least have something to feel good about going into halftime after the productive first down play it's second and six he's looking to throw got his ripping off a pretty good chunk of yardage they've got it out to the with a first down man how about the first half this guy's having he already has two touchdowns picks up a huge first down right here on defense you're going to have to find a way to control this guy you're going to have to make some big time adjustments at halftime offense rushing to the line of scrimmage clock has stopped for the first down they'll try to get it off quickly he's going to pass he hurls one deep down the left side and they couldn't make the connection on the long shot well guess who they're taking a shot to the guy that's just been torching this defense in the entire first half he's already got over a 100 yards so why not try to add to it and force this defense to prove that they can cover him they did do a nice job right there that's not the last time this guy's going to see the ball thrown his way after the incompletion back to the passing game going back to the well another defa and you can see the offense just feeling itself they've got it down to the 21 what what a beautiful throw and catch on this play and I love the job the receiver did tracking the ball in the air nice job of locating the throw and then hauling it in that last play has this defense on its heels now it's first and 10 from the 21 grabbed in the middle touchdown pass just about set to kick it away he'll bring it out from inside his own 10 didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 Old Dominion has the ball back here late in the first half the monarchs will putt this one away fourth time tonight we've seen this guy come on to punt this is a spot you see many returners try to take a chance but not this time the fair catch just inside the 40 looking to go up top on first down fires into traffic it's it's picked off and they'll close in on him after a good return on the interception and I tell you what when defenses Play Zone all eyes are on the quarterback you have a Zone to drop to but you're setting on the quarterback reading his eyes great job by the defense understanding the ball was coming out breaks on the football goes and makes the int ODU ready to send the offense back back onto the field based on this field position Jesse they need to get something on the board before the half and they' got to be aggressive too Reese they've got the weapons to attack and try to steal a field goal here you practice these situations all during the week you know you got to be fast taking advantage of the clock it's stopping making sure you're throwing the football down the field to try to get some point offense gets set for second [Applause] down Wilson will throw quick strike complete the offense waste no time getting the timeout call you see it more and more smaller wide receivers I don't care about their size anymore I put them in the slot I let them get a good match up they're so quick people can't get their hands on them they make plays and I feed them the football these are guys that have a lot of catches throughout a season quickly complete he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense and on that third and short I think he was unhappy to see that zone nope was a great job by the offense hey see where the holes in the zone are sit down you only need a little bit of yards on this third down get the conversion move the sticks running out of time here in the first half they're going to have to be efficient to put some points on the board before the break he'll come out throwing on first down going for it all throw to the end zone picked off looking for more room and they make the play to stop the scoring opportunity just before the end of the half what an interception he's dangerous because not only can he catch the ball and pluck it out of the air but he's hard to bring down too this is a guy that I think could play offense for a lot of programs around the country and he showed you his open field running there just enough time to get off one final play of the half they'll throw it on first down fires toward the end zone and it's caught touchdown Gamecock what great execution by this offense it looked like you were about to go into the half trailing now with this answer this scoring drive you got the lead you got the momentum taking it into halftime nice job by this offense executing that last Drive lining up to tack one more onto that lead and the extra points up by a field goal we played scoreboard operator after all those first downs and touchdowns big plays have defined this one thanks to two of the best receiving core in all of college football let's see if these defenses can adjust and make the necessary chess moves with that said let's send it back to the guys at Williams Bryce and the monarchs will kick it away first and we'll start the second half here he comes from inside his own five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 and the South Carolina offense is back on the field trying to set the tone on the ground in the second half he's brought down but not before they pick up the big first down in halime in this locker room there's a lot of positive things to talk about you got the lead but you know what else will be positive Palmer get the running game going early in this second half you're absolutely right here and I think this coaching staff is going to try to put this game on the offensive line a little bit let these guys take this thing over be physical and push this defense around gets it out quickly finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down this quarterback has been really good today he been on top of it seeing things really really well that pass right there put him over the 300 yd Mark that's a pretty good day and the game Co come to the line in the hurry up the toss to the outside you'll take four yards on first down every time second and six you know it's so important for offenses to want to keep third Downs manageable the way you do that is by having success like that running the football on first down solid pick up of four on first down it's second and six give to the running back and a good solid pick up before the defense Cuts him down I think you run that play so you stay out of third and long third and long is not where an offense ever wants to thrive third and medium hey I'm good with that so you run that play to make sure you're set up for a good third down in the dead center of the field as they try to convert this third and short they move the tight end all over on Third and short they'll ride the running back here the Gamecock will move the sticks with the first down and I just love when guys know exactly where the sticks are you could tell ran with purpose finished through the sticks and got just enough for the first down and a nice job up front too right good communication everybody knew where they had to go hat on a hat work the double teams and get some push coming out on first down with the play fake got it in the middle it's brown that is exactly what you're looking for when you talk explosive plays the defense finally able to make the Stop and the Gamecocks come to the line with a fresh set of downs they're threatening to score and they'll throw it fires to the wide out got it takes it to the house touchdown game CS how about the day for this young fell that's a four game stretch nope four touchdowns in one game he has been the focal point of this offense and he has not disappointed getting set for the point after and with the extra point they're now up by a touchdown and a field goal at 10 so a scoring drive there of 83 yards and they close the deal with a 20yd pass for Six about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown and he takes this from inside the five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 Old Dominion has the ball back the monarchs will send the offense onto the field the deficit here is just 10 points David So a chance to answer here plenty got a lot of Running Room they'll get it to the 48 no need to measure it's a first down Hey listen explosive plays comes in all different shapes and sizes that time they attack the outside to the left on the ground and that is a momentum shifting play they know they have a huge Advantage there I I expect them to go right back to it and what do you do now if you're on defense you got to be expecting that they're going to try and Tack that side of the field maybe in the same way maybe on this next play right here they'll ride the hot hand they'll pick up four four second and Six coming it's the emmo of this offense and they really put a lot on the offensive line to go out and really try and establish their dominance and their assertiveness and they've done a good job of that early in this game running the football the monarchs racing to the line in the hurry up the give to the back they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one and I think that might be an example of the running back maybe trying to do a little bit too much everybody wants to try to bounce the ball outside and hit the home run but in college football at this level you just need to do a better job taking what the defense gives up and this offense can ill afford to come up empty on this drive already trailing by multiple possessions Wilson to pass nice defensive play to get a hand in there and knock it away oh man the quarterback almost just threw his second interception on his many drives he's trying to fit that football in there it gets tipped up in the air he's lucky that wasn't picked off and the monarchs will send out the punt unit they've been busy out there to punt for the fifth time today he'll get away another punt he's been really active today and no doubt he's going to earn his varsity letter South Carolina ready to go on the attack in another offensive Odyssey man what a Drive last time for the touchdown that passing attack was Lethal David and you know you hear all these stupid commentators like me and Jesse talking about create balance you know run and pass no when you throw that good spin the ball around so the defense has to find a way to affect the quarterback on this drive because last drive he had way too much time to throw now on First and 10 from the 26 fast motion from the offense trying to find his man on first down going deep how about that play to get a hand in there and force the incompletion tips deflections those are such good things for defense a lot of times they lead to interceptions and big plays just try to get any kind of disruption you can last play didn't go as planned now second and 10 from the 26 from the shotgun now here's an inside give gets it across the 30 to the 31 a pick up of five I know the passing game sells and the passing game is exciting but it's not exciting to get five or six yards a pop on the ground but it will be very successful now on third down after that run to throw it's sers right down the middle got him by his cross he's got first down yardage as they move it to the 44 this defense has to find a way to account for this tight end he's working the middle of the field and I don't know if that was a bust of coverage but there was nobody near him that's just too simple the Gamecocks in the hurry up they'll leave it with him fights off a Defender nice solid form tackle from this sophomore and it's just simple simple first down run showing your physicality setting your offense up in a good spot after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven [Applause] going to run it it's Sanders and they just can't Square him up and he gets down to the 36 I think you run that play on second down knowing it's going to make Third Down Easy you're not trying to hit a home run you don't need the big play right now now you know third down everything's on the table everything's available High success rate they want to get this defense on its heels wants to throw on third down catch in the middle it's Harbor and the game tox will move the sticks really nice job there by the quarterback understanding that it's Zone coverage on third down you're going to have to find someone working into a soft spot get the ball out of your hands quickly make an accurate throw and pick up the first well done the Gamecock have it with a first and 10 using the quick game and he was just a couple of steps away from taking that one went even further after the catch and on that last play he's now over 400 yd passing well Reese if you're going to throw for over 400 bills you got to spread the praise around up front they've done an outstanding job protecting this quarterback and his receivers have been winning oneon-one [Applause] they'll throw it from the Red Zone he's got It On the Run The Tackle is made but he's got it first and goal from the six yeah and tommer I don't know what his crean's going to be but hitting over 400 yards on the day I I think coaches are going to be pretty impressed with the day this young man had no doubt I think for defensive coordinators moving forward now you're going to be charged with having to find answers to try to slow this guy down today we've seen this defense try blitzing Zone coverage man coverage they mix up Personnel none of it work this guy has carved them apart he steps and powers and works his way they finally get him down at the two defense trying to come up with a stop on second and goal they're trying to slam it in and he takes it to the house touchdown South Carolina and what a push up front by this offensive line everyone playing in unison driving out of their stance working into the second level hats on hats creating a lane for that running back P unit on the field and with the extra point they now have a three possession lead at [Applause] 17 about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown he'll bring it back from inside to five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 ODU ready to send the offense back onto the field after giving up that score now it's incumbent on this offense to kind of get a back and forth going Jesse in this game they got to put some points on the board here there's obviously a lot of football to go so it's not necessarily Panic time just yet but I'm getting the ball into the hands of my best Playmakers on this drive I hear you Jesse but not panic time have you seen my defense I mean I'm not them to get a lot of STS so he puts a lot of pressure on this offense from the gun the running back looking for room got to be smart patient great vision uses all of that to get to the 29 and a nice job by the running back finding space getting downhill making a good run great job finishing with his PS the monarchs are in the hurry [Applause] up on the option nowhere to run on that when he loses four on the car and the Monarch send out the punt unit they're up to a half dozen kicks today no return coming here fair catch is signal for and made just shy of the 30 and the South Carolina offense is back on the field takes a hand off it's Sanders a seven yd pickup it'll be second and three I know it's sexy to throw the football but if you can pound it away and get the these kind of gains they will just add up wear the defense down get first downs and ultimately get some points good spot after that seven yd pickup on first down it's second and three here's the handoff and they'll spot it at the 45 that's good enough for a first down well the defense is on their heels right now they're going to have to find a way to stop this guy when he's got ahead of steam boy he is hard to bring down the offense getting set for a first down from the 45 Ed the play fake now to throw unloads to the wide out right on the money to the outside he dragged the toe and how about the ball placement only the receiver could get it when you got a QB with this kind of arm Talent receivers this kind of speed they are going to be difficult to stop they have been up and down the field they've almost got 450 passing yards now and the Gamecock will snap it on First and 10 looking down field it's sers good timing on the quick out and these quarterbacks have to really trust their wide receivers that they're going to be disciplined and run to the right route when they're throwing that ball to the outside like that because those Corners are sitting there on the inside and the worst thing that could happen is to miss inside and that cornerback get going the other direction offense in the hurry up he's looking for an open man on second down and it just squirted through his hands he wanted to take off and got too anxious looked like the offense had a chance for a big play there but the running back just could not reel that ball in that last incomplete pass has him staring at a third and three wide receiver shows motion they turn to the passing game on Third and short they make the stop but this passing game does some damage and they move the sticks with the first down on third down offenses have their plays what they like in third and short what they like third and medium third and long great job by the offense having success now it's in combing upon the defense to learn their plays and try to shut it down throughout the game holds and fires complete to the right and they'll get him down inside the five but this offense powering for to score going to work in the Red Zone they can pick up the first down without getting it into the end zone they keep attacking through the air touchdown Gamecock and the punishment has been extended the offense flexes its muscle a bit and widens the Gap take a little exhale you know you did your job you got points now you put your defense in a position where hey go out and get another stop we're in great shape so the offense definitely taking care of their business they'll try to add another to their lead the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead they took it 71 yds down the field and they capped the drive with a four- yd touchdown pass the kickoff team takes the field to boot this one away he'll start the return inside is five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 Old Dominion has the ball back the monarchs will send the offense onto the field they face a pretty tall mountain here Jesse down 24 but if they're going to climb it this is a good time to start sense of urgency has got to be big right here you just get the feeling at this point of the game David they've got to score on this drive obviously their defense needs to get stops but at this point offensively they've got to execute much better they they got to be super aggressive down 24 you're going to need three touchdowns three two-point conversions everything to kind of go your way so fast and throwing the football just will his way for a couple out to the 35 picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second [Applause] down got his Man Down field off he goes and he eluded the defense and he'll take it all the way touchdown monarchs God has start cutting into this lead somewhere now the question will they have enough time but that's step one you got to get that first score you got to get back in the ball game and get some of that momentum back on your side you still got more work to do but step one accomplished play the analytics here and you go for [Applause] two trying to punch it in he's not going to make it in and the decision to go for two does not work out lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown drive on the move from inside his five he was looking for more Running Room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 South Carolina ready to go on the attack in another offensive Odyssey single back formation and they give it to it finds his way ahead for five and now they've got it at the 28 when you're a defense it is stop the run first that is your first responsibility it makes the whole game easy and right now they got it going on the ground the defense is going to have to change something up these little tiny Dink and dunk Dink and dunk you keep doing this they'll go all the way down the field on you so you might want to get a little bit more aggressive to the ground with the back and he was able to work his way for just a few and that will do it for the third quarter and talk about spreading the ball around everyone getting a chance to show off the hands based on the number of Target Target we've seen one more quarter to go and it looks as if we are ready to play this is where you make the money on the drives ball at the 30 it's third and short to the ground to try to pick up the first and they did not let him reach the line to gain it'll bring up a decision here man down on the play as the officials take a break to let him be checked out the game Cox will punt it away on fourth down he's getting a lot of work fourth time he's punted tonight and returner will be dragged down ODU ready to send the offense back onto the [Applause] field wasting no time throwing on this drive he lobs one high down the left side and that will be incom complete and that would have been a big hitter if they could have done it but second down coming well trailing this much in the fourth quarter the offense is looking for an explosive play to try to ignite them and get them back in this one but nothing doing nice job in coverage they'll spread the defense out going five wide on second and 10 they'll throw again after the incompletion and he really needed to hold on to that one but it was not loose and third down is coming they line up and it is a long way to the sticks from here Wilson will throw fires to the wide out it's complete he'll have enough for the first down and they stop him at the 45 wow and what a great job by that quarterback finding his open receiver on third down you know guys one of the most telling stats at the end of the game is third down conversion percentage if you're a great third down team it's invaluable to your offensive success and that's why teams drill third down so much in practice off the play fake on first down wants to throw and it falls incomplete but that could have been disastrous a Defender was right there you know it's one thing to take shots early in the game when the def defense may not be expecting it but at this point fourth quarter you're trailing by a lot they know you're going to do it and the defense was expecting that one great job in the back end now second and [Applause] 10 they're going to throw it again excellent coverage and good use of the hands to knock it away listen a lot of time tips and deflections are because you got great eyes and vision on the quarterback you see him releas the ball you break on it you tip that thing and make sure the receiver can't get it now trying to keep this drive alive on Third and long from the 45 from the gun wants to pass all kinds of room to throw that one in there touchdown ODU he broke away from the defense and they couldn't catch him like a Thanksgiving turkey there is being car no shot they have no idea how to get in this quarterback's head he's on fire everything he's doing is working defensively we got to figure something out we got to try to do something a little bit different bring more pressure at this right shoot he's on so much fire you might as well just send everybody Blitz everybody live with the results because everything else ain't working anyways now they'll line up for what they hope is automatic right down the middle so that was a six-play 75 yd drive and the score coming on the touchdown pass from 55 yds out they've cut into this lead it's down to 11 as they're set to kick it away on the run from inside of zone five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 and the South Carolina offense is back on the field looking downfield it's sers how about getting the foot down on that throw for the big completion and if it ain't broke don't fix it right this is what got this team in this position to win this game aggressive offense taking shots here we are in the fourth quarter they've got the lead Why Stop Now and the Gamecocks want to pick up the tempo they'll throw it on first down blasted as he lets it go can't find his man as he took a shot trying to deliver that football and it'll be second down well the offensive line has got to give him at least a little bit of time to survey the field he had no chance that time getting almost immediately after he got the ball after misfiring it's second down off the play fake throws to the wide out or he find a hole in that secondary and he's brought down after a huge completion he's been so locked in it seems like any pass called is a guaranteed chunk play yeah and winning late like this in the ball game keep trusting him keep you know why because stats matter late in the game you want some postseason Awards keep chucking it keep getting those stats looking to pass inside the Red Zone he's got it on the move and he strides his way into the end zone touchdown Gamecocks there's no mercy rule in college football man theyve got a huge lead here in the fourth quarter they are still chucking it and they are still scoring ready to try the point after and now with the extra point they're up by 18 here in the fourth quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and the Capper a 19 yd toss for the touchdown the kickoff unit about to go to [Applause] work he'll take the return and try to improve the field position he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 to the air on first down he'll take a deep shot here he's got it down the right side and the tackle was made but not before that completion gets him 30 plus well I'll give this offense some credit because they've got a lot of fight there is no quit in them and they're obviously trailing by a big amount in this game they haven't had a lot of success but they're still taking shots and their players are still out there competing going up top on first down grabs it in the middle [Applause] the monarchs want to crank the [Applause] tempo the pull and throw off the RPO dragged down to the turf but not before getting the first down and I think this receiver's Forte is his route running he's a guy that can line up all over the field but it's not just catching post routes and goes this guy can run shallows he can run Slants he can run the option rout and find soft spots in the defense this guy really has all the routes in his toolbox he'll do it himself they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one really really nice football play man I got to understand option football I got to play my responsibility make sure that I know what I'm doing look at the linebacker great job doing that staying patient getting to the quarterback making the big tackle lost one on that last one it's second and 11 out of the gun the inside handoff looking for a crease buo ahead he's down at the 18 after picking up five I like this guy as a running back because he can run between the tackles and he can also go outside he can really do it all and the monarchs have pushed it inside the 20 on third down try to pick it up through the air just threw that one away to avoid disaster man they just couldn't find the hole down in the Red Zone the field shrinks so much harder to complete those passes but fourth and short now decision time baby and on fourth down they'll try to put three on the board the holder will spot at about 35 yds [Applause] out it's good is after that last field goal Drive they're set to kick it away and he'll return it and try to get behind his blockers not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 South Carolina ready to go on the attack in another offensive Odyssey strike downfield and he's to the 48 yd line that'll be good enough for a first down he just keeps piling out numbers with completion after completion in this standout performance I think some people might say late in the game you got the win everything's in hand be a little bit conservative or you just say I'm just going to keep doing me and what I do with this offense is throw the football all of the yard and I'm going to try to win me a big trophy at the end of the year they'll run it and a nice solid pick up there before the defense wrestles him to the ground it's a point in the game I think as a coaching staff where you really challenge your offensive line to go win the football game right we've got to lead late we're going to run the football and the defense and everybody in the stadium knows that's what's going to happen can we run the ball down their throats and impose our will that's what this offense right now is trying to do right back to the well they'll make the stop at the 42 it's a pick up of five and that will be enough for a first down well the defense didn't Blitz they didn't have everybody in gaps and the offensive line took advantage at the point of attack getting some push opening up a hole and the offense ripping off a nice run there the Gamecock headed quickly to the line off the play fake on first down to throw and this sophomore able to wreak some havoc and get the sack this defense they are tenacious and they've got guys up front that are athletic and that are so strong and then can collapse the pocket you saw it right there in that play action attempt negative play on first down that's what a defense always always wants back to throw it's sers almost had the completion just missed it man these slant routes you throw quick it's a timing route you thrown three million of them to the wide receiver and most of the time gets his hands up and he catches it keeps his body in the way but right there just lack of focus lack of concentration just drops the easy play he he's probably caught that ball 99% of the time it's been thrown a shot toward the end zone touchdown South Carolina and the Ping has started and this offense continuing to put up points this game's Out Of Reach you know you're going to win but still throwing the football still finding that connection I imagine there'll be some salty handshakes at the end of this game and it looks as if they've buzzed down replay wants to have another Peak at that last play and they take another look at the play but the officials on the field were right and the play will stand and the extra point will tack another one onto this lead so that scoring Drive took only six plays and the Capper coming on that 48 yd touchdown Dart the kickoff team out there and ready to [Applause] go here he comes from inside his own five nice job executing all of the assignments as they put a stop to that return at the 22 Old Dominion has the ball back the monarchs will send the offense onto the field wants to throw on first down quickly complete here's the deal you're down three possessions you know it doesn't feel likely they're going to come back and win but we've seen crazier stuff happen in college football it all starts with a big completion on a two-minute Drive they'll get the momentum started in your direction looks as if they'll stay aggressive here they go five wide on second and three Wilson to pass he looks that one in nicely and how about that catch and run so dangerous this guy and at this point the defense looks as if they've been in one of those dizzy bat races they've got no idea where the ball's coming from he's over 500 yards passing yeah this is a highman trophy level performance from this guy the accuracy the decision making the athleticism everything has been on displ he makes a stop but a nice pick up there on first down leaves him in second in manageable love the execution there on the screen the running back shows pass protect pass protect last second turns around so he's able to get the ball the D lineman have already run past him now he can turn up field for a big Gainer they'll send three white outs left one to the right on second and five he's looking to throw unloads to the wide out makes the grab they make the tackle at the 33 but he's ripped off 15 yards and picked up a first down the monarchs are flying down the field he's looking to throw it finds the tight end how about this backer in pass coverage and bringing the big hit stick with him too well they're able to find the tight end for an easy completion but good job tackling not allowing him to the first down they'll go five wide on second and [Applause] eight he's looking to throw fires to the wide out got him downfield they're able to keep him out of the end zone he'll be stopped at the two after the big play in the passing game and the best thing about this the offense can't worry about the scoreboard just keep trying to make plays like that Jesse I know a lot lot of people in the stadium probably feel like this game is over maybe it's been over for a while or e but don't tell that to this quarterback and his teammates they're still out there scrapping and [Applause] cl a first down run in the Red Zone into the end zone he goes touchdown Old Dominion his defense is going to have to do a better job being physical that's two rushing touchdowns they've now allowed they have got to be better close to the line of scrimmage My Philosophy on going for two is only when you have to they'll run it he's got her nose for that goal line first he scored the touchdown now he makes his way in for the two-point conversion almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown and he takes this from inside the five really disciplin job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 and the South Carol offense is back on the field they'll give it to the back found a little bit of Running Room knocked down at the 24 after a pick up of four at this point of the game the offense has the lead the offensive coordinator knows they want to keep running the football so he's going back he's looking at his playlist and he's saying which runs work the best for me in this game what can I lean on right here to make sure we win this one and the Gamecock will hustle to the line behind the line it's Simon and they'll finally get him down after a terrific pick up I think most offenses around the country in a situation like this with the lead late would be trying to run the football right or throw it short and try to bleed the clock but this offense man it's still pedal to the metal they're looking for chunk play opportunities offense lines up for a first and 10 from the 43 used the play fake now to throw and it's incomplete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball and here comes the offense on second down wide receiver now comes in in motion from the gun running back gets to give continuing to turn and move it forward and they're closing in on Midfield it's down at the [Music] 48 how bold will they be on third down after that last run looking to throw it's sellers pass is incomplete but a lot of contact there I think it's going to be pass interference and a first down there's a difference between being physical and pass interference and that was way over the line he wants to throw not much of a chance there he just had to get rid of it to void the sack and that's a really good decision by the quarterback don't take the sack throw the ball away now listen we can debate whether that was intentional grounding or not because he's still in the pocket I'm not sure that that's not classified as grounding but they didn't call it so you know what nice throw away QB on second down he'll let it fly caught over the middle it's brown they make the stop after the catch and still some work to do to pick up that first down this offense is not letting up guys they've got a lead here late and they are still taking shots they're still looking for explosive plays this defense just has not had an answer here all game long trying to move the sticks on third down he'll pull it on the read open space at the 25 he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down well this is one of the fastest quarterbacks in college football and that's why the option's a good idea because if he can get out in space and he gets a chance to get down field he is really difficult to tackle and he's very difficult to catch as you saw in that last play getting a first down dropped after a pick up of four down to the 16 and this is a perfect situation this is a situation if you asked me to be in before the game the coaches would have been in heaven I got the football I got the lead on their side of the field nice gain on first down same exact script do it again run the football run the clock let that thing tick down and if we add points we add points to give as they work on that clock made a little something out of that run he picked up a couple down to the 14 we've reached a two-minute warning and this offense will be quite content just to drain the rest of the time away they'd love to pick up this third down and get a fresh set with first and goal they'll run the counter he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three time out called there by the defense desperate to get the ball back and save as much time as possible and now on fourth down they'll try a field goal and this field goal attempt might just seal the deal by making it a three-score game late kick is good the offense has three points to show for the drive hold on just a second guys flag on the play might be the worst case scenario for this defense thought they'd held them to three now the offense with a chance for more from the gun the running back has it that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there quick timeout called by the defense stopping the clock to save as much time as possible for their offense they keep pushing forward now back to work on second and goal from the six he'll run it to the right here and try to get it into the end zone he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple defense uses a timeout quickly trying to get that ball back and preserve time for their offense if they can pay off this third and goal with a touchdown it might be getting a little tough to swallow over there on the other sideline and they swarm him under man it has been a long drive offensively I just feel like you got to pay this off and be aggressive you're down close punch it in for field if I missed they'll play it safe and try for three and if they can make this and turn it into a three-score game they'll have this one all but locked up and the kicker delivers the three ball to finish off the drive and they'll push that lead out a little further that lead just keeps getting fatter in this kickoff team doing a little running he'll bring it back from inside as five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 ODU ready to send the offense back onto the field and he dropped it it looked for all the world like that would be a catch and he just got too excited well he did a good job getting to the middle of the field that's where the offense wanted to attack on that play he's just got to do a better job looking that
