NEW 2024 Election Map Based On The NEWEST Poll From ALL 50 STATES!

since September started Trump has seen a massive boost in not just some of the major Battleground States but also in some that many thought weren't even competitive today we're going to be filling out the most recent 2024 electoral map based on the most recent poll in all 50 states so let's get started for our map today it's important to keep in mind our rating classifications with 0 to 3% being tilt 3 to 7% being lean 7 to 12% being likely and 12% an up being safe or solid starting off in the west disconnected from the mainland are the states of Alaska and Hawaii both of these states share almost nothing in common from weather and climate continuing into Politics the most recent poll in Alaska shows Trump in the lead plus 10 according to Signal Alaska has been a reliable red state in the past and most of the polling from this cycle reflects that I don't think Alaska will end up being a likely Red State I think in November we'll see it vote solid red but for now we can make it our first likely Trump state in the Aloha state of Hawaii the most recent poll from the Independent Center gives the Democratic candidate who was Biden at the time a lead of just plus eight given how Hawaii has been a solid blue state in the past I think this is unlikely especially since Harris has proven herself to be the more popular candidate but for now we can make it our first likely Harris State moving on to the mainland are the three coastal states of Washington Oregon and California making up a whopping 74 total vote votes these states have a history of being at the very least reliably left-leaning but let's see how they're polling in this highly contested Trump versus Harris race in Washington the most recent poll from public policy polling has Harris beating Trump by a margin of plus4 even without this poll Washington hasn't voted Republicans since the 80s and Trump didn't exactly do well in this state in 2020 so we can make it solid blue on the map today in Oregon the most recent poll tells a much different story than what we just saw in Washington the poll from Hoffman research group only shows Harris ahead of Trump by a slim margin of plus five this is shocking especially when you see Biden's margin of plus 16 in 2020 and looking further back the last Republican Oregon voted for was Reagan almost 40 years ago it'll be interesting to see what happens here in the next few weeks and on Election Day but for our map we'll make it only lean to the Democrats California is the most secure of these three states just looking at 538 pulling average of a plus 23.9 Harris win and looking at the most recent poll it shows Harris winning by a similar margin of plus 23 over Trump with 61% to 38% so we can safely add its 54 votes the most out of any other state to Harris's tally next up is the highly contested state of Nevada even though Trump didn't win this state in either 2016 or 2020 and Harris currently leads plus 0.5 in the latest average this is the first state where she seems to be making a comeback the most recent poll has the former president tied with Harris but the poll before that shows him taking the lead and winning with plus one I would usually make Nevada a tied State because of the tie and how close to this state is looking but because of the plus one margin we will tilt it in Trump's favor next up is the usual solid red Western block of Idaho Utah Wyoming and Montana the most recent poll in Idaho shows what most expected with Trump in the lead plus 29 in Utah the most recent poll shows Trump in the lead plus 32 Wyoming the most conservative state in the country country shows Trump leading with plus 41 according to zogby strategies and in Montana the former president manages to win by a margin of plus 15 even without these farri margins these states have been Republican strongholds for over 20 years and they show no sign of change making them all solid red next up is Arizona our second close Battleground State this election cycle in 2020 Biden managed to flip this state from Trump with a margin of plus 0.31 Arizona however has only voted Democrat twice in the last 50 years and with the most recent polling average shows Trump retaking the lead from Harris with plus 0.5 the last poll shows an even bigger margin of plus two in favor of trump which makes Arizona another tilt Republican state Colorado and New Mexico are our last two Western States both states have been reliably Democrat since Obama won them in his first campaign in 2008 and Trump performed worse in both from 2016 to 2020 as of today in Colorado the most most recent poll has Trump behind 10 points with 50% to 40% in New Mexico the most recent poll from Redfield and Wilton strategies has Harris ahead by a similar plus seven margin if either of these states is going to end up being closer than a likely State it'll probably be New Mexico especially because of how close it got before Biden dropped out just for reference the last poll with Biden only showed him a head plus one for now though we can make both of these states likely Democrat moving on to one of the biggest and most important regions in the US the South starting us off is the Lone Star State of Texas making up 40 electoral votes many people on the left had been hoping for a blue Texas but Trends this cycle have many questioning if it'll happen anytime soon the most recent poll from Emerson College has Trump ahead just plus three and it seems like it's been getting closer with every poll personally I don't think it'll end up getting this close at all especially because it was just a few weeks ago polls showed Trump winning by margins of plus eight and plus n but with a margin of plus three Texas becomes just a lean Republican state Oklahoma is another solid Republican boat with the most recent poll from sooner pole showing a plus 16o Trump lead Arkansas and Louisiana are also usual safe Trump votes the most recent poll in Arkansas shows Trump ahead plus 32 and for the most recent poll in Louisiana Trump leads plus 15 this makes both States safely Republican moving on to Mississippi and Alabama another pair of solid red States the most recent poll from Mississippi from Echelon insights has Trump ahead plus 18 which is similar to its 2020 margin of plus 16.5 this makes Mississippi a safe Trump State and for Alabama the most recent poll shows Trump winning by a margin of plus 20 because of this we can add Alabama to Trump's list of safe States next up is the Sunshine State of Florida Florida has seen one of the biggest shifts out of any state in the last few election Cycles going from one of the most contested battle ground states to showing more and more Republican support the most recent poll shows Trump leading plus 4 with 51% to 48% a margin of four points is closer than most have been expecting but because they are the most recent we are going to make Florida's 30 votes lean Trump neighboring Florida is our next state and one of the closest states of the entire 2020 election Georgia the most recent average shows that it is closer than ever so far this cycle with Harris barely leading plus 0.3 the most recent poll however shows Trump winning with plus one Democrats haven't been able to carry Georgia's vote since Carter and it seems like based on current polling and how close it was four years ago Harris won't be the person to change that with the margin of plus one we can make Georgia our third tilt Republican state South Carolina unlike its northern neighbor is not a close race the most recent poll from Emerson College has Trump ahead by a margin of 14 points Trump also managed to win this state by a double digit margin in 2020 and based on the polls right now he is on track to do it again making South Carolina a safe Republican state next up are the states of Tennessee and Kentucky another pair of almost guaranteed Trump votes the most recent poll from Tennessee shows an impressive and expected plus 26 lead for Trump as for Kentucky the most recent poll shows a very similar plus 28 point margin for Trump because of this we can make both States solid red finishing off the Carolinas with North Carolina this is considered to be another close Battleground state that cycle despite voting for Trump in both of his past campaigns the most recent average shows Trump ahead with plus 0.8 but when we look at the most recent poll it shows him leading with plus three with that plus three margin we can make North Carolina lean to the Republicans next up are the Virginia's regular Virginia and West Virginia Virginia has ended up a lot closer than most initially expected this cycle the most recent data shows a race that is neck and neck according to the most recent poll Harris barely holds the lead with plus three Virginia voted for Biden with a margin of plus 10.1 points in 2020 but with some polls now showing Trump in the lead it's uncertain how it'll vote because of this we can only lean Virginia in favor of Harris West Virginia is a lot less up in the air and a lot more predictable with the most recent polls showing a plus 27 Trump margin according to research America this has been a safe Trump state in the past and with the current polls we can make it a solid red yet again on our map today finish finishing off the southern region of the US are the states of Maryland and Delaware as well as the three votes from DC Maryland's most recent poll shows a plus 21 Harris lead and Delaware's most recent poll shows a plus 11 Democrat lead both are generally considered safe Democrat States based on how they voted in the past and it seems that won't be changing this cycle there aren't any polls yet for DC but polling four years ago is enough to point to the fact that Trump doesn't stand the chance here which adds another three solid blue votes to Harris's total before we fill out the highly contested Midwest and specifically the Rust Belt region let's look at the Northeast up first is the solid blue New England block these states are Massachusetts with plus 18 and Vermont with a massive plus 41 like most of the states in this region they have historically voted blue but these are the only two that show no signs of changing anytime soon this makes them both safe States Connecticut Rhode Island and New Jersey are also usually consider considered to be in this block of safe Democrat States but their recent polls are shocking in Connecticut the most recent poll only shows Democrats ahead by a margin of plus n which makes it likely Democrat in Rhode Island the most recent poll shows Democrats ahead by a similar plus seven which also makes it likely Democrat New Jersey however is much more surprising the most recent poll in New Jersey shows Trump ahead plus one with 41% to 40% I'm not confident that Trump will be able to keep this up given its history but we can make New Jersey tilt Republican for now next up is the Empire State of New York the most recent poll from New York shows Harris winning by a margin of plus 17 with 58% to 42% because of this we can make it solid blue moving back up to the corner states are the battleground of New Hampshire and the split state of Maine in New Hampshire the most recent average shows Harris is only ahead by a margin of plus 6.6 which would almost make it a likely state but not quite looking at the most recent poll Harris Trump with a similar plus five which is enough to only lean it to Democrats and in Maine it is one of two split States this election in Maine's First District Harris leads by a margin of plus 28 according to the most recent poll which makes it solid blue Main's second district shows Harris leading plus five which isn't surprising for Maine as a whole but for this District it is since Trump won it in 2020 by a likely margin of plus 7.4 and he had been leading up until now I'd be surprised if this District voted for Harris but we can lean it in her favor as of Maine's Statewide contest the most recent poll shows Harris leading with plus 17 as a whole Maine has been reliably blue since the 80s and it looks like that won't be changing this election because of this we can make it solid blue starting off the Midwest states and finishing off Trump's solid red block of states are North Dakota with a plus 34 South Dakota with another plus 19 Nebraska's Statewide contest as well as its first and third districts with plus 17 Kansas with Plus 16 Missouri with plus 17 and Indiana with plus 21 going back to Nebraska with its one final vote coming from the Second District home to the city of Omaha the most recent poll here shows Harris winning by a margin of just plus five this makes this District lean to the Democrats next up is Iowa usually Iowa is considered to be a likely State and some predictions have it as such but Trump has been gaining huge here with the most recent poll showing a winning margin of plus 12 this makes it a safe State for the former president Illinois and Ohio are the last of these less competitive Midwestern states according to the most recent polls in Illinois Harris leads plus 16 over Trump making it solid blue and in Ohio the most recent poll shows Trump pulling ahead by plus 10 making it just a likely Trump state next up is the state of Minnesota one of the most left-leaning states in the nation with it voting blue the most out of any other state in the last 50 years looking at 538s current average Paris leads by a margin of plus 7.3 which would usually be enough to make it a likely Democrat State according to the most recent poll however it only shows Harris leading by a margin of plus five which makes Minnesota just a lean Democrat State and finally we have the Rust Belt home to some of the most competitive States politically and are the states that many are expecting to decide the entire election come November across the board averages in these three states show Harris ahead by all but tilt margins in Wisconsin the most recent poll shows a tie with both candidates getting 48% just like with Nevada this would usually make Wisconsin a tossup but when we look at the poll before that Trump leads with plus one which is enough to tilt it in his favor next up is Michigan the most recent poll here shows Harris leading with plus one which is enough to tilt it in her favor and finally is the Keystone State of Pennsylvania the most recent poll shows Trump ahead with plus one which is enough to tilt it in his favor with that Trump wins the 2024 election but what do you think
