70S, CLOSE TO 80. IT'S GOING TO BE ANOTHER WARM AND MUGGY ONE, BUT NOT QUITE AS HOT AS WE'VE BEEN THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS, WHERE THOSE HEAT INDICES WERE CLOSE TO THE TRIPLE DIGITS. BUT LET'S LOOK AT THIS AFTERNOON'S FORECAST, BECAUSE IT DOES INCLUDE THE CHANCE FOR A FEW SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS. NOW, THE CONVECTION OR THE AMOUNT OF ENERGYHAT WE'RE TRACKING, NOT NEARLY AS IMPRESSIVE AS YESTERDAY. SO WE HAVE THAT GOING FOR US. BUT STILL, ENOUGH INSTABILITY WHERE WE COULD SEE A FEW OF THOSE STORMS FIRE OFF. SO LET'S LOOK AT SATELLITE RADAR. QUITE A BIT OF CLOUD COVER ACROSS THE AREA. AND WE'VE HAD A COUPLE LITTLE SPRINKLES DEVELOP. AND IT'S NOT ANYTHING TO REALLY WRITE HOME ABOUT. BUT IF YOU'RE JOINING US FROM ADRIAN AND TECUMSEH IN LENAWEE COUNTY, YOU HAVE A LITTLE LIGHT SHOWER THAT HAS DEVELOPED THERE. OTHERWISE THE REST OF US ARE DRY. BUT SOUTH OF I 94 WILL BE THE AREA THAT POTENTIALLY COULD SEE SEVERE WEATHER TODAY FOR MONROE AND ADRIAN, WHERE HIGH WINDS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF HAIL WOULD BE THE PRIMARY THREATS. NOW, THAT DOESN'T MEAN THE REST OF US ARE IN THE CLEAR. IN FACT, OUR MODEL DATA STILL, PUTTING SOME OF THESE STORMS ALONG AND SOUTH OF M-59. BUT AS WE LOOK AT CLOUDS AND RADAR FAST FORWARDING TO 430 TRI-CITY AREA, GETTING A COUPLE THAT BUBBLE UP AND THEN FROM LAPEER SOUTHWARD, WE DO HAVE A CHANCE FOR A COUPLE OF THOSE SCATTERED STORMS AS WE GO INTO YOUR SIX, SEVEN, EVEN 8:00 HOUR BY ABOUT 10:00. MOST OF THAT IS EAST OF HERE. SO WE COULD SEE SOMETHING BUBBLE UP. YOU JUST CAN NEVER REALLY RULE OUT THE CHANCE OF THERE BEING SOMETHING STRONG, BUT AT LEAST WE'RE LOOKING AT A MARGINAL RISK OF STRONG STORMS. NOW, A DIFFERENT SCENARIO HEADING INTO FRIDAY. ALL OF SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN RIGHT NOW FROM THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER UNDER A MARGINAL RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER. AND WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN FRIDAY. WE GET THIS WARM FRONT THAT LIFTS FIRST, WHICH COULD BRING US A LITTLE BIT OF MOISTURE IN THE MORNING, BUT WARM AND HUMID TEMPERATURES THROUGHOUT THE DAY. AND THEN A COLD FRONT SWEEPS THROUGH. AND THAT'S GOING TO TRIGGER MORE STORMS FOR THE LATER PART OF THE DAY. SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR ALL THE SPARTANS THAT ARE GOING TO THE FRIDAY KICKOFF AT 7:00, OUT AT SPARTAN STADIUM? WELL, THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SOME SHOWERS FOR THE TAILGATING AND RIGHT AROUND KICKOFF, BUT JUST AFTER KICKOFF, WE SHOULD BE DRYING THINGS OUT. SO PACK THE PONCHO. BUT IT SHOULDN'T BE A WASHOUT OF A GAME. WE'LL BE IN THE UPPER 70S FOR KICKOFF, AND THEN PROBABLY UPPER 60 BY UPP 60S BY GAME'S END. CLOUDS AND RADAR FOR FRIDAY. HERE. CLOSER TO HOME. JUST TO SHOW YOU HOW THAT PANS OUT, 8 A.M. WE HAVE A CHANCE FOR A SHOWER WITH THAT WARM FRONT, BUT THEN AS THE COLD FRONT COMES, YOU'LL HAVE A LINE OF SHOWERS AND STORMS. 4:00 ONWARD. REALLY GOING INTO THE EVENING IS WHERE WE COULD HAVE THAT PASSING RAIN, SO WE'LL CONTINUE TO TRACK THAT OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. NOW FOR THE MICHIGAN FANS, IT'S A SATURDAY 730 KICKOFF, MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES, 70S FOR KICKOFF, AND THEN WE'LL BE IN THE 60S BY GAME'S
