YOU SEE THOSE LIGHTNING BOLTS POPPING UP AS YOU GET INTO LIVINGSTON COUNTY. SO EXACT TRACK 40 RADAR SHOWS THAT WE ARE NOT SEEING THIS ALL OVER SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN RIGHT NOW, PRIMARILY OVER TOWARD THE WEST SIDE OF TOWN. LET'S ZOOM IN AND SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING AS WE GO OVER TOWARD US. 23 THE HAMBURG AREA. AS YOU GET OVER TOWARD BRIGHTON, THIS IS WHERE WE'RE SEEING THOSE STORMS MOVING THROUGH RIGHT NOW. SO IF YOU'RE WONDERING THE DIRECTION OF THESE STORMS, THEY'RE MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT AROUND 15MPH. SO MILFORD, WE ARE GOING TO BE SEEING THESE SHOWERS WITHIN THE NEXT FEW MINUTES AS YOU GO INTO HARTLAND TOWNSHIP. WE WILL ALSO SEE THESE SHOWERS. LET'S GO AHEAD AND SORT OF TIME IT OUT, AND YOU CAN SEE THE DIRECTION IT'S GOING TO BE MOVING INTO THE GREEN OAK TOWNSHIP AREA AS WELL. SHORTLY AFTER THIS. AND WITHIN THE NEXT FEW MINUTES, YOU WILL ALSO SEE THIS MOVING TOWARD THE NOVI AREA, PLYMOUTH. SO FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE HEADING HOME FROM WORK, JUST BE PREPARED FOR SOME OF THAT HEAVIER RAINFALL THAT IS MOVING THROUGH THE AREA. OUT OF THOSE CELLS NOW. CAMERA VIEW LOOKING FROM DETROIT TOWARD SOUTHWEST DETROIT AND BEYOND. YOU CAN SEE THOSE DARK CLOUDS ON THE HORIZON THAT IS THE SITUATION THAT WE ARE SEEING RIGHT NOW, ESPECIALLY ON THE WEST SIDE OF TOWN. A COUPLE OF SHOWERS ARE POPPING UP RIGHT AROUND MONROE. WE'RE AT 86 ON DETROIT'S EAST SIDE, 83 IN MOUNT CLEMENS, 82 IN HOLLAND. WE'VE ALREADY SEEN SOME OF THAT RAIN MOVING THROUGH. YOU BUMP UP THE HUMIDITY TODAY, BUT THE HEAT INDEX IS NOT REALLY AN ISSUE. ONE OF THE THINGS THAT MIGHT BE AN ISSUE FOR SOME PEOPLE, IT'S THE WIND SPEEDS RIGHT NOW SUSTAINED AROUND 5 TO 15MPH COMING OUT OF THE SOUTHWEST OVER TOWARD THE WEST SIDE OF TOWN, OVER BY ANN ARBOR. BUT IF YOU'RE DOWNRIVER, THOSE WINDS ARE MORE SO COMING OUT OF THE SOUTHEAST, AND THOSE GUSTS UP TO 20MPH OR EVEN GREATER. SO ANOTHER VIEW OF WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH SATELLITE AND RADAR. HERE ARE THOSE CLOUDS WITH THE FRONT THAT IS GOING TO BE MOVING TOWARD OUR DIRECTION, BRINGING MORE SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT AND EARLY TOMORROW. SO CLOUDS AND RADAR FORECAST. WE HAVE THOSE SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS IN OUR AREA RIGHT NOW. WE HAVE THAT CHANCE LASTING THROUGH THE NIGHTTIME HOURS. VERY SCATTERED. SOME PEOPLE GOING WITHOUT SEEING THEM. WE FAST FORWARD TO TOMORROW MORNING AROUND 10:00. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH OUR AREA MORE AS WE GO INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. THESE ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE OVERLY STRONG, BUT YOU COULD GET SOME DOWNPOURS OUT OF THEM. CLOUDS AND RADAR. AS WE GO INTO THE EVENING HOURS, IT LOOKS AS OF RIGHT NOW THAT MAYBE WE CAN GET SOME CLEARING HAPPENING IN TIME FOR THOSE HIGH SCHOOL GAMES, AND THAT WOULD BE A GREAT THING AS WE GO TOWARD SIX AND 7:00. CLOUDS AND RADAR FORECAST INTO SATURDAY MORNING. A FEW SHOWERS, ESPECIALLY IN THE THUMB, AND WE COULD SEE THAT CHANCE LASTING IO THE AFTERNOON HOURS TONIGHT WE HAVE THOSE SHOWER CHANCES, A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH TEMPERATURES FALLING DOWN TO RIGHT AROUND 70 DEGREES AS WE GET AFTER MIDNIGHT, AND THOSE TEMPERATURES FALLING A LITTLE BIT LOWER. BUT MORE COMFORTABLE THAN WHAT WE'VE SEEN OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS WHEN WE HAVE SOME OF THOSE LOWS IN THE 40S IN SOME SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN COMMUNITIES. SO 64 DEGREES TONIGHT, THOSE SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH THOSE WINDS MOSTLY OUT OF THE SOUTH AND SOUTH SOUTHEAST. TOMORROW, 73 DEGREES. AND HERE'S WHAT WE HAVE AS WE GO OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS OUT THERE. TEMPERATURES TAKING A DIVE OVER THE WEEKEND. AND LOOK AT THIS MA
