IT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS IN SOUTHFIELD. AS YOU'RE DRIVING YOU MIGHT AT TIMES NEED YOUR SUNGLASSES. PULL DOWN THE VISOR. BUT WE DO HAVE PARTLY CLOUDY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY SKY CONDITIONS DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION. HERE'S A LOOK AS WE GO INTO MOUNT CLEMENS, WHERE WE HAVE A LITTLE BIT MORE OF THAT SUNSHINE. THE TEMPERATURES ARE BACK TO NORMAL, BUT THEY ARE GOING UP ABOVE NORMAL AS WE GO OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. SO TOMORROW WE'RE NEAR NORMAL WITH THOSE TEMPERATURES 84 DEGREES AS WE GO INTO OUR WEDNESDAY HUMP. DAY 86 FOR THURSDAY. AND THEN WE START TO SEE THOSE TEMPERATURES TUMBLING JUST A LITTLE BIT DOWN TO 84 FOR FRIDAY. SO THAT'S A LOOK AT WHAT WE'RE GOING TO BE EXPECTING. AND FOR THAT PORTION OF THE WEEK MIDWEEK, NORMAL HIGHS AROUND 76 DEGREES. SO THE TEMPERATURES RIGHT NOW 78 IN PONTIAC WE'RE AT 80. IN LAPEER GO INTO SANDUSKY 75 BACK DOWN TOWARD THE SOUTH 78 IN GROSSE ILE, 79 IN MONROE. WE ARE FEELING VERY COMFORTABLE WHERE WE HAVE A BREEZE OUT THERE, RANGING FROM ABOUT 10 TO 15MPH, SLIGHTLY HIGHER IN PONTIAC WITH 17MPH. THOSE WINDS MOSTLY COMING OUT OF THE WEST. BUT THOSE GUSTS ARE GREATER UP TO 20MPH AND 23MPH IN MONROE. SO SKY CONDITIONS AS I MENTIONED, WE DO HAVE SOME AREAS WHERE WE HAVE PARTLY CLOUDY TO EVEN MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES, BUT WE WILL START TO SEE THOSE CLOUDS DISSIPATING AS WE GET LATER INTO THE DAY. NOW THIS IS THE THING THAT'S INFLUENCING OUR WEATHER. THIS HIS DRIFTING THROUGH THE OHIO VALLEY, AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO SEE LOTS OF SUNSHINE AS WE GO THROUGHOUT THE WEEK. NOW, SOMETHING THAT THE NATION IS KEEPING ITS EYES ON IS THIS STORM RIGHT HERE. THAT IS TROPICAL STORM FRANCINE. IT IS GOING TO BE THREATENING THE TEXAS AND LOUISIANA COASTLINES WITH SURGE AND HEAVY RAIN, AS WELL AS WIND, WITH A LANDFALL THAT'S EXPECTED FOR LOUISIANA. NOW, I'M GOING TO TALK A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT THAT LATER ON. BACK TO SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN. HERE AT HOME, WE ARE SEEING THOSE BEAUTIFUL CONDITIONS AND IT WILL BE LIKE THAT FOR MOST OF THE WEEK WE GO INTO THE NIGHTTIME HOURS AND THINGS ARE PARTLY CLOUDY TO MOSTLY CLEAR, BUT WE HAVE SOMETHING THAT'S DEVELOPING AT GROUND LEVEL THAT IS GOING TO BE FOG THAT I MENTIONED, AND THAT COULD BE A CONCERN FOR YOUR MORNING DRIVE TOMORROW THAT WILL DISSIPATE BY MID-MORNING. AND THEN LATER ON WE HAVE PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AS WE GO THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE DAY. AND TOMORROW NIGHT, THINGS CLEAR ON OUT. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO THE FOG IN SOME LOCATIONS, IT COULD BECOME DENSE. THE MAIN CONCERN STARTING OFF DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS WILL BE OVER THE THUMB. THAT'S WHERE WE HAVE THE VISIBILITY DOWN TO A MILE AND EVEN LESS. AND THEN AS WE GET LATER INTO THE MORNING HOURS, RIGHT AROUND THE COMMUTE, WE WILL START TO SEE THAT VISIBILITY ISSUE EXTENDING FARTHER TOWARD THE SOUTH. AS YOU GET INTO ROYAL OAK DETROIT, HARPER WOODS AND INTO ANN ARBOR, AND WE WILL SEE SOME IMPROVEMENT GETTING CLOSER TO 9:00. AND THEN IT DISSIPATES TONIGHT. WE'RE ABOUT 58 DEGREES IN DETROIT, BUT SOME COMMUNITIES LIKE ANN ARBOR CLOSER TO 50 DEGREES, THE SAME FOR THE THUMB TOMORROW. THOSE HIGHS IN THE UPPER 70S TO NEAR 80 DEGREES. IT IS GOING TO BE WARM OUT THERE MUCH LIKE TODAY. BUT THEN WE GET HOT ON WEDNESDAY, 8486 ON THURSDAY. THOSE OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE 60S AND SATURDAY 81. SAME FOR SUNDAY WHEN THE LIONS ARE PLAYING AGAINST TAMPA BAY. BUCCANEERS ARE GOING TO BE IN TOWN. AND THERE'S THAT SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN COMING SUNDAY AND MONDAY THAT IS POTENTIALLY ASSOCIATED
