Boulder Colorado one of the most picturesque locations in the world let alone for college football and you will see plenty of buffalos roaming here we believe we've got a great one in store today and we've got a team that makes it into the top 25 now when you go on the road that's when you prove you belong kickoff team has the ball teed up and they're about ready to go looking for an alley from inside his own 10 not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 so the Colorado Buffalo's offense takes the field to start this game off and there he is a man who makes an entire Stadium hold its breath every time he touches the ball Jesse this defense better had a lot of breath in this game too cuz he gets better as the game goes on he's the kind of guy David who can wear a defense down and he is the primary focus that's what the defense is focused and ke in on we got to stop him if we're going to have success they'll try again on second down after the incompletion dropping back it's Sanders and that pass will be Jarred loose on second down that brings up third down they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one on third down he'll try to pick it up through the air pulls it in it's Hayden and the defense able to drag him down but not before they'll recycle that down marker you know it's a nice throw by the QB there you're throwing the running backs you got to make it easy so you want to put it right on their body make the catch simple and let them go to work like they did just there getting that first the buffalo racing to the line in the hurry up going to the ground finds enough room to get three out to the 34 and the running back didn't get much there nice job by the defense you can tell they're focused in on this running back on this run game being physical getting knockbacks and limiting his carries after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven he'll keep it himself just sort of a Relentless run getting everything that was available to him and they'll Mark him down at the 40 this offense is really going to try to keep the defense on their heels in the Run game by doing it with different guys it'll be running backs it'll be quarterbacks they may even try to get receivers involved in the Jet Sweep game reverse game as well but a nice play there bully ball on Third and short and the Buffalo get it past the sticks it's a really good sign if you're on offense you're you're putting it on your offensive line on third down critical down and distance opening drive of the game let those guys fire off get a hat on a hat you can run the ball pick up the first you're around Midfield and all things looking pretty good here early for this offense they'll ride the hot hand he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and it's a great play by the defensive end the most athletic players on the field play defensive end Yes you heard me Jess Reese exactly what I said great get off great job getting the Back Field making the play after losing a couple on that last play here's second and 12 quick completion to the right he's brought down Sol pick up but a little bit short of the first down and watch the offensive line here they all Block Run cuz they're blocking run the quarterback decides oh I got a favorable matchup he dumps it out to the right makes the right read gets a nice positive game third and short coming here right from the Midfield strike to the air it's Sanders keeps a play but now he's swallowed up and he'll be knocked down for a loss on the trick play and that is how you silence this rockus crowd defensively on the road first drive of the game setting the tone getting a huge sack on third down and the buffalos will bring the punt team onto the field F probably not quite as good as he hoped as it goes out of Bounds at the 20 yd line this match up on the outside Jesse a big Play Weapon players make big plays in big games so who gets the best of this match up that's going to determine the game I mean such a fun chess match how much are they on each other during the game the head to head match up that everybody wants to see nowhere to run on that one he loses four on the carry well the most insightful analysis I can come up with on that one is that didn't work back to the drawing board to see if there's something that works a little better so if I can quote the great ree Davis that was very UNG good not a productive first down play out of the gun the inside kid they knock him down but not before he gets it out to the 20 one Y Line pick up a four just a simple power again not sexy run the ball up the middle physicality offensive line geter your themselves run block what they love to do this pays dividends down the road before if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum on third down he drops to throw going over the top and it goes through his hands oh he had an explosive play right there for the taking but couldn't reel it in obviously when you're playing in weather like this the ball is very slippery and it's hard to catch the QB threw a bullet that time and his receiver just could not reel it in they bring the punter onto the field now those hands can get a little frigid in weather like this he'll make the fair catch signal and secure the catch they'll run it out of the shotgun now they're starting to feel it they've got a first down at the 44 with the weapons this offense has you knew it was just a matter of time in the Run game before someone was going to break a long one they' just been running into a wall they just couldn't seem to find their creases and get enough movement up front but they finally got it there picking up the first let's see what happens next they'll give it to him again and they try to run inside and there is nowhere to go stopping the run is very high on every defensive coordinator's list making the team onedimensional nice job stuffing the run on that play right there the buffalos want to crank the tempo looking to throw at Sanders quickly to the tight end and he's down after making the catch but did not reach the line to gain a nice job by the defense there tackling the catch and smothering the tight end they know this offense is going to try to find him in the passing game in a lot of different situations that time perfect coverage and nice job bringing the big guy down not easy to do it'll be a draw dances away from one he got a bunch and look clst to getting a lot more but he's got the first down and they just kind of sneak that one in there as a defensive guy third and five plus I'm thinking pass they were thinking pass Palmer and they slipped the run and it's so nice then to have this guy at running back too right because you could throw it to him on third down or hand it off and he's got the vision and the athleticism to go pick up that first keep the drive going wide open downfield he's R out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down and I love that the QB understood I'm going to put some stank on this I'm going to throw it as hard as I can quickly right when he's breaking out of that curl nice job getting it to him quick so he could get a first down and the Buffalo come to the line with a freshh set of downs quick handoff they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one linebackers have such an amazing responsibility got to play run got to play pass how about this seeing the Run aggressively getting downhill and getting in the back field and making the tackle for a loss going to work in the Red Zone they can pick up the first down without getting it into the end zone hand off from the Gun Works his way ahead for about three it's down at the eight down at yd third boy they'd love to pick up this conversion and go to work with a first and goal on Third and long he's going to have to throw for it and he got a hand on it to knock it down in the end zone nice job by the defense they're mixing up their look they're third and long in field goal range they go Zone coverage so everybody on the back end has the eye on the quarterback and they're able to break on the ball Force the incompletion now on fourth down they'll settle for a field goal try and as a holder picks his spot it'll be a 25 yd attempt kick is good the offense has three points to show for the drive and now will put the first points of the game on the board it's three to nothing so they were able to put up a three spot on that last to leather from inside the 10 yd line he'll bring it back he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 first down for this offense and a pickup of eight opens a world of opportunities on second and two and if I'm a QB I'm calling my own number a lot especially when it's successful like this continue to put me in good situations continue to get positive chunks of yards yep I'll keep that more wants to throw it's Bowers fires to the middle makes the grab knocked down at the 44 but he got 15 on that one and the tight ends are one of the most versatile guys in the field and you see it right here the play action they're used to blocking right now they slip right by the linebackers slip to the second level come open the quarterback finds them in great rhythm guys Colorado has the lead here guys let's have a look at the stats as we've played one period now to see if these guys can get back in the game as we open the second quarter now they'll line it up from the 44 on First and 10 used the play fake now to throw and they couldn't hold off the heat and he goes down with the sack playaction pass success has a lot to do with selling that thing you could tell defense was not buying it got in the back field got the big play second down now after the sack from the gun they'll try to impose their will nice solid form tackle from this sophomore yeah and the running back didn't get much here but you know you clearly want to always establish the tempo run the football be consistent make that defense physically meet the challenge I'm not positive but that first down marker might be in the next County on third thir and long you'll need to push it down field they'll run the screen they play that screen nicely he tried to find his way to the marker but it'll be fourth down one of the things I love about this defense they just have such great awareness and they're always communicating they understood the down and distance they knew exactly what they needed to do to make the tackle to force the punt that is so well done pun team makes its way onto the field this will be the second time they've had to kick it away and they'll keep it away from The Return Man as the punt goes out of bounds Colorado has the ball back and the Buffalo hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense unloads to the wide out grabbed in the middle it's Hunter right down the gut of the field touchdown Colarado and once he found open space the band might as well start Play did not take long to get into the end zone now and see if this gets this offense to hit overdrive and we may have a situation here we might have points more points and more points you keep putting Drives together like that that quickly Tun Up that much yardage defenses are going to have to get something take it out P unit on the field and with the extra point they're now up by a touchdown and a field goal at 10 if only it were always this easy for the offensive coordinator One play big chunk yardage put points on the board just like that from inside the 10 here he comes not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 they'd love to put a long drive together here as they start from their own 21 from the gun he leaves it with the back they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one that's a great play by the defensive end the best athletes on the field play defensive end you can ask anybody yes I agree Jess gree see they agree with me same thing but you watch him get off the football make the play that's why you put your athletes there didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and 11 finds his man in the middle really confident throw and catch there big pickup and they have a first down when these wide receivers work the middle of the field so much of this is feel understanding where the holes are in the zone or understanding how to get leverage on a man and these wide receivers are dangerous now is because they do it so fast and see that so quick and make those plays over the middle wide receiver now comes in motion back to throw it's Bowers snags it over the middle they stop him almost immediately short gain there and still a little ground cover to pick up the first this quarterback right now is in a Groove and he's doing a nice job in preest snap he's reading the coverage and he's getting an idea of where he wants to go with the football that's why the ball's coming out of his hands so quickly that's why he seems like he's in a great Rhythm right now the give to the tailback and they're able to shove him to the turf as they stop him for a short game stick him to the run I tell you what a lot of teams that are really good are really St and they continue to run the football even with little success so this offense is going to continue to focus on running the football you can tell ball is at the 42 yd line close to four down territory here's third and short they'll try to get the first through the air it's complete on the right side he's got first down yardage across the 50 they'll mark it at the 49 well look that wasn't a touchdown but that was a massive play for this offense they needed some momentum they needed to find a rhythm in what better way than converting on third down awesome job by the quarterback getting through his progression they'll try the Run he breaks a tackle and he fights his way forward gets away from one but not much doing on that one great job by the defense everybody firing off the ball hitting their guys holding their gaps running to the football nowhere to go they got nothing on the last play it's second and 10 he's looking to throw and the pass is incomplete thanks to a big hit coming a third and long coming up here F play action he's going to let one fly down the middle and trying to put points on the board on third down now they're staring at Fourth Down DP does an outstanding job here on the Deep pass locating the football no Pi able to swat it away pass inom and here comes the pun te running it back it's horn who get get it out to about the 20 yd line and that's where they'll Mark him down and the Colorado offense is coming back onto the field they torched this defense with an explosive passing play for a score last time out let's see if they go right back at him getting some heat and this looks disastrous oh down he goes a huge loss on that play I tell you what man you you better be looking at your puppy dog feet and seeing where they are Palmer you don't want to get back in that end zone and bad things happen when you get sacked I don't know if you want to even risk this quarterback having to hold on for the foot to the football very much longer after watching that last play this defense right now is pinning their ears back on this area of the field and they are getting after him quick after the big first down sack for the D it's second down power football with the run one step W and these defens tackles just eat people they swallow human beings when you get near them they're so big so strong those guys those running backs coming they just need a mid they put one mid on a running back and he usually falls to the ground just because of their sheer mass and strength on Third and long hoping to throw beyond the sticks got it set up on the outside defense was not fooled by that screen to the back and they'll stop him short of the marker it'll be fourth down you got to love that on defense one of the most critical statistics out there is how do you play on third down how do you prevent the opponent from keeping drives alive right there tackling the catch you gave up the completion what you do you set up fourth and long you're going to get the ball back go get some water and celebrate fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way with a question as to whether he can feel his fingers at this point fair catch is wise in the middle of this snowy cold weather wants to throw on first down fires to the wide out complete to the left and they'll finally bring him down after he rips off a huge play they've been completely lethargic in this first half but finally some signs of life and we've seen it reys throughout time throughout college football history you get that one big play momentum starts to come in and I don't know what it is it changes everything maybe that's the play they needed to finally get some points on the scoreboard before the half gets out of bounds after the big game but they've got it first goal and that's why if you're the offensive coordinator you've got to find as many ways as possible to get this guy going just get him the ball close to the line of scrimmage doesn't need to be a throw deep down the field he's so Dynamic when he has the ball in his hands he saw it right there first and goal and a touchdown here really gives him momentum he's going to pass got away from trouble and got rid of it and it's picked off at the goal line the 50 the 40 at the 20 and they capitalized not only on the pick but on the great return to improve this field position and they were most fortunate to catch up to him there he almost turned that into a pick six man and he had a convoy too as soon as he had the ball he just looked around him there was just a lot of open green and he took off great job by his teammates on defense getting down field and setting up some blocks Colorado has the ball back and the Buffalo hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense they had to punt it away on their last possession but man what great field position this time I mean this is awesome and he Motors into the end zone touchdown bucks when you're handed a break with unbelievable field position like that you better finish the deal and they did you saw the quarterback jog on the field I think he gave a high five to every one of those players coming off that just put them in position to go score that touchdown that QB knew this was a golden opportunity and boy he took advantage of he'll try to add another to their lead for extra point and he did get that extra point through no problem with the frozen tundra beneath him that's taking advantage of a golden opportunity set up with great field position and they struck quickly for the touchdown the kickoff team takes the field to boot this one away from inside his own 10 let's see what he gets he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 we'll see the offense make its way onto the field here hoping for a successful drive that's caught it's English he's run out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down there's got to be a sense of urgency for this offense right now they're trailing they're going to be kicking off to open in the second half so they need points they need to go Tempo maybe that last first down gets them a little bit of confidence they really got things moving on this drive second play of the drive comes from the 37 to the air on first down I don't think that's the way they drew it up incomplete well the good news is he did a nice job reading the coverage he knew exactly where to go with the football that time just a little bit too much on that pass you wonder if that's just nerves he's got to settle himself down a little bit now second and 10 looking to throw it's Bowers quickly complete oh he gave him the limp leg and the catch was one thing and the Run even better a big pick up on that one there's a timeout called as this offense tries to find a way to draw a little closer comes out throwing on first down fires into traic get intercepted looking for more room the 20 and he's going to take it all the way back touchdown Buffalo look I know it's only the second quarter but we're starting to see a pretty significant Gap develop between these two teams right now no doubt when your defense is scoring your offense is scoring good things happening for your ball CL this defense on point reading their scouting important and making big plays lining up to attack one more onto that lead and the extra point will tack another one onto this lead they'll kick it off and send that defense right back out there to try to score again after the pick six from inside his own 15 looking for a cred nice job executing all of the assignments as they put a stop to that return at the 22 he wants to start this drive with a pass feeling some heat just just had to get rid of that one good job to fight another play line getting set on second down back to pass it's Bowers he finds his man yeah and that was tough on the DB right he's trying to cover the receiver on a drag route running back over the middle of the field you're trying to avoid all the linebackers all the congestion he just couldn't stay with them long enough and as a result fresh set of downs for the offs looking for that first down on Third and short from the 28 from the gun wants to pass throws for the tight end he makes a catch there's a Timeout on the field tight game here late in the first half finally this off defense starting to shake the cobwebs and get things moving it's first and 10 looking to move it through the air can't hold on he had it right down the middle and he flat dropped it here they come on second and 10 from the 47 after the incompletion he's looking to throw this time on target the offense calls timeout and they won't have any more left this half just a few seconds remaining here as they try to put something up before halftime snap from the gun on third down just threw that one away to avoid disaster great job by the defense there they weren't surprised by that play call there on Third and short they were expecting pass they took everything away forced the incompletion and they'll Pat the kicker on the tail and tell him to go give it a shot he says he can kick one from 75 but here he's going to need just 58 of them no no good well that's the way it goes sometimes Miss field goal still down by 24 listen he's a guy that makes 60 yarders in practice they give him that opportunity with his big leg he misses it the opponent didn't set up the return so they're going to get the football back now pretty good field position there's still a few ticks left on the clock they've got a chance to steal some points here late in the half from the gun the ground game a strong tackle and wrap up from the junior the offense calls a timeout to stop the clock they'll have just enough time to get one more snap before the half they'll try the left side he'll be brought down and that's the final play of the half that's going to wrap up the first half here and now we join Kevin with a halftime update thanks guys a first half that saw a little bit of everything there in Boulder and there is no better place to start this halftime than by reviewing how this wide out has been a Onan Wrecking Crew the kid's been everywhere and I love how he's willing to go across the middle but that he also has the Jets to burn these DBS on the Deep ball if this defense wants to actually come back in this one they better hide his cleats with that said let's send it back to the fellas at buam field and the buffalos will kick it off to start the second half from inside his own 10 he'll try to help out their field position nice job executing all of the assignments as they put a stop to that return at the 22 they keep it on the ground to open the Third he's stuffed after picking up one to the 23 I never know if it's grammatically correct to say a team is being out physical you he a lot in football though that's happening in this game they are just not getting the push they need all game long up front to have any success when they decide to run it didn't get much on first down it's second and nine to throw it's Bowers setting up the screen they make the stop after the catch and still some work to do to pick up that first down I'll tell you what if you want to be overzealous you want to be a Blitzer all the time I like running the screen right behind him did a great job throwing the screen almost broke this one for a long game but just keeps the defense a little bit more honest if you want to start bringing a lot of pressure musling ahead on Third and short at the 40 there he goes they'll get him on the ground at the 46 and it'll be a first down well you want wonder if one of the adjustments they made at halftime trailing in this game was to try and get the ground game established David and they're off to a good start here dang right stay patient you don't have to worry about it you don't have to press just try to get scoring Drives together don't abandon the run that one never had a chance incomplete well it's a nice job by the quarterback getting the ball out of his hands quickly on that RPO he saw something he liked just not on the same page with his receiver after the misfire now on second down he's looking to throw and that's going to be incomplete a lot of contact on the play but no Flags it'll be third down big tight end tries they make a catch and you can tell extends for the ball but great job by the defender getting in there making the hit dislodging the football out as the same time as he's going to catch it and the big tight ain't couldn't hold on to it on Third and long he has to throw for it he lobs one high down the left side and that one's incomplete they weren't just trying to move the chain they were trying to move the scoreboard instead it's fourth down well at this juncture in the game with how the scoreboard looks no question this offense is going to have to throw to get back in the game and it's going to be tricky now because as the defense is expecting it you're going to throw into a lot of big Zone coverages with everybody's eyes on the quarterback not going to be easy looking for a block it's h and they'll get him down after the return at the 27 yd line and the Colorado offense is coming back onto the field the G blls his way forward squirts across the 30 to the 32 a pick up of five I think tackling is about effort most of the time it's about how much passion how much physicality you can bring to get your guy on the ground refuse not to get him on the ground that's not a big back you got to get that guy on the ground you can't let him pick up an extra couple yards and stay ahead of the sticks he'll do it himself and they'll wrestle him to the ground after a short gain well the QB decided to keep it on that one and listen if you had his athleticism you'd want to keep it too almost every time they run these types of option plays but he's just going to have to do a good job of understanding when to hand it off when to pitch it and try to keep this defense on their heels and read his keys he's got a lot of talent just got to make sure he's making the right decisions moving forward throws to the wide out got his man downfield a huge play and they get it all the way to the 45 yd line we asked earlier this week who's your favorite receiver and of course he said the open one but we know who he really wants to go to on third down the best one I mean I think the open one obviously the politically correct answer but you want to find the guy that you got that great chemistry with you know exactly where he's going to be you got that Bond and that trust throws to the tight end and this will be incomplete a big hit there forces second down well it was a good throw it was a good route but it was the hit that forced that incompletion after the miss fire it's second down to the air it's Sanders and it'll be incomplete this defense's physical and pass de now third now facing a third and long from the gun wants to pass the short hands it's Hunter now well within Striking Distance as that third down play gets him a first at the 29 these two guys just on the same wavelength they make clutch connections all the time and that's practice man that's all summer that's all spring just so many hundreds and hundreds and thousands of balls where you know exactly when that guy's going to break you know he's a stud you're going to feed him especially on these third down situations they make the Stop and this running game moves to change as they get the first down well this is one of the fastest quarterbacks in college football and that's why the option's a good idea because if he can get out in space and he has a chance to get downfield he is really difficult to tackle and he's very difficult to catch as you saw in that last play getting a first down going to run it it's Hayden you'll take this every time five yds on the first down play I I like it just frustrate the defense get that five to six yards make him honor the Run make them know that you're willing to run the football and run it effectively operating in the Red Zone here on second down he's looking to throw touchdown colado and the route is on like a Thanksgiving turn they're just being hard no shot they have no idea how to get in this quarterback's head he's on fire everything he's doing he's working defensively we got to figure something out we got to try to do something a little bit different bring more pressure at this right shoot he's on so much fire you might as well just send everybody Blitz everybody live with the results cuz everything else ain't working anyways ling up to another kicker on for the extra point and with that extra point the lead remains in the gargantuan category they marched 72 yds and they close the deal with the seven yter for the score lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown Drive he'll bring it out from inside his own 10 he was looking for more Running Room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 the offense set for a first down play he's looking to throw it firing to the right complete and they pick up just a few on that completion yeah great job creating space that's what you're supposed to do when you get man coverage you got to find a way to get a step make it easy for your quarterback to read that leverage and when he drags across the field he could see had him he completes it for the first down now on second down after the short completion looking downfield it's Bowers he uncor one deep and he dropped it incomplete pass it what would have been and he just flat dropped wow this offense is doing nothing they've already punted four times and staring at the possibility of a the fifth going back to the well another deep ball and that'll be incomplete they certainly weren't afraid to take a shot there and now it's Fourth Down what a great play by the defense listen that's why he plays defense yes I get I get the jokes defensive guys can't catch real well but the offense they caught a Big Time Break right there that could have been disaster on their side of the field could have been a big turnover that led to points he'll get away another punt he's been really active today and no doubt he's going to earn his varsity letter Colorado has the ball back and the Buffalo hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense give to the running back and he'll pick up one it brings up second and nine the big defensive tackles in the middle they're not always the best pass rushers but they are strong and I say Country Strong they put their hands on you you feel it they lock people out on the line of scrimmage they create separation they wrap running backs up and usually they don't get out of the midst of those big boys on second down just keeps firing ball in the air intercepted and they'll close in on him after a good return on the interception what a nice job intercepting the snowball there the quarterback threw the snowball down the field couldn't get it to his wide receiver defensive back makes a great play tell you what this snow definitely affecting the the game now this offense is back on the field off play action on first down pocket starts to collapse and the pressure was all over him in the point of an ey this defense they are tenacious and they've got guys up front that are athletic and that are so strong and they can collapse the pocket you saw it right there in that play action attempt the first down sack pushes the ball back for this long second down running back searching for a hole really nice stop there from this senior leader and a lot of times you want those big plays you want those Splash plays but sometimes you're going to take some losses you're not going to run the football overly well but if you continue to run you can at least create some balance you at least have the threat of it otherwise you're just going to abandon it and now it's just going to be a passing game on Third and long you'll have to turn it loose deep and they can't hook up on the big play and that brings up a fourth down tell you what I don't know if the offense was expecting man coverage that time third and long in field goal range you're expecting it to be Zone inste instead they lock him up manto man everybody on an island and everybody W and get the incompletion Now setting up for and here comes the field goal unit for the second time tonight oh and he missed it no good I guess the idea was to chip away at a big lead consider the lead not chip away this drive will get started from the 37 yd line the give to the single back not a whole lot of progress made there on the short drive at the 39 y BR up second down guys Colorado has the lead here well guys so far this has been a massive beat down and it would appear the biggest challenge is what kind of Records can they set as we have a look at the third quarter stats so will the beat down continue or is this a comeback for the ages in store we'll see as we start the fourth they go to the ground and the defense makes the stop after a minimal game third here they come facing third and long from the 40 dropping back it's Sanders unloads it left got his man and he was loose and in the open field and on his way a tremendous pick up on that one you know I love offensive board that want to stay aggressive and they've come up with big plays all game long it's a big reason why they have this lead right now and they're not backing off here in the fourth quarter they're letting their guys go play the entire Playbook is open to them and they're taking shots using his legs it's Hayden they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one nice job by this defense listen you got to understand they're going to run the football they're going to try to milk the clock Jesse they got the huge lead haven't been a lot of good plays for this defense in this game so far so can they build on that one can they create some turnovers here in the second half to get back in this game out of the shotgun they go to the ground relying on that running game and it works for about three yds to the 31 third com they line up up and it is a long way to the sticks from here they'll Run play action they get to him as he throws he took a hit as he threw it and couldn't deliver the football it's incomplete and fourth Down's coming and the offense got themselves in a tough situation third and long so hard to execute especially when the field starts to shrink but the good news is they got a field goal in their back pocket and for the second time tonight they'll Trot out the field goal kicker well they've already made one the holder will put it down at the 38 for a 48 yd attempt that is no good that they blow the field goal something finally goes wrong and the offense back on the field ready to dive up ball plays opening snap with this drive comes from the 31 yd line unloads to the Wi out incompleted man is he lucky to get that one back defense that close to an interception they try to get on the same page this time second and 10 from the 31 after the incomp completion they go back up top this time he's got his man they make the stop right there good pick up it's still short of the first down just got the feeling this defense is going to make it hard on them right they've got the lead it's late they're going to try to tackle everybody in bounds offense is going to have to really work for this and be smart you got to attack the sidelines you got to throw first down you got to keep this thing moving vertically down the field on Third and short they'll try to convert through the air flips it out in the fra he stopped almost immediately didn't get much but he didn't need much they've got the first down nice job by the running back catching the football and understanding where the first down marker was I got to go get that first down did a nice job of it it's first and 10 for this offense from the 42 looking for a man it's Bowers and the throw out to the sideline good for just a few yard this defense is going to have to be careful not only do they have to worry about this guy running the football but they've got to keep their eye on him when he runs routes too he is a versatile back right on target with that last pass now it's second and medium they keep attacking through the air got out of trouble got rid of it using the quick game he stopped at the 45 after picking up 10 yds and the first down really nice job by quarterback and wide receiver this is why you do film work this is why you throw on air all off season I know I get Zone coverage I know exactly where I'm breaking I know exactly where to deliver the football nice throw nice catch offense threatening at the 45 yd line on First and 10 he wants to throw can't hang on and he'll tell you he really should have made that catch and he had an opportunity right in the middle it'll be second down you see an incompletion there I think a big reason why this team is in such a hole right now in the fourth quarter is they have just not been able to find the explosive plays throwing the ball and you got to wonder at this point is it too little too late on second down wants to throw it just had to get rid of that one good job to avoid the loss well this guy must feel like he's run into a buz saww in this game he has been under duress all game long that's a big reason why he's thrown multiple interceptions in the game too nothing coming easy to him it's hard to see the field when your internal clock is going off so fast because of the pressure of this defense and that's why they find themselves down by so much here in the fourth it's a m stride inside the 10 stopped at the three but it'll be enough to give them a first and goal and the best thing about this the offense can't worry about the scoreboard just keep trying to make plays like that that Jesse I know a lot of people in the stadium probably feel like this game is over maybe it's been over for a while or e but don't tell that to this quarterback and his teammates they're still out there scrapping and CLA after that big play they're trying to pay it off right on the goal line they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one well they're trying to go with the QB designed run but nice job defensively they were not fooled by it they were physical up front guys defeating blocks able to get that tackle for loss and lost ground on first down now second and goal from the five to the air it's Bowers he wants it all and he's got it in the end zone for a touchdown it won't matter much in the outcome but a little extra stat pass in is nice nice play there by the offense but still a ton of ground to make up yeah this one's pretty much over but listen put that exclamation point on it finish the way you want to finish make sure your offense keeps that momentum going it can build throughout the season he'll try to tack on one more exra the extra point is good but the lead is still big down 317 a 70 yd touchdown drive and the score comes on a 5yd touchdown pass they're down big but they'll keep fighting to The Bitter End and line up for the onside kick here they were ready for the onside kick and executed perfectly and they secure the football and the Colorado offense is coming back onto the field they'll run it they want to take their time here they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one I love this linebacker because he's able to dissect what's happening in front of him and he reacts downhill uses his speed to get to the line of scrimmage and create the negative play didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and 11 from the gun the running back has it he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple they thought maybe they could get the defense flowing the wrong way on the counter but they were not fool get them flowing one way and then maybe hit that outside on the other side right but they didn't even let it get outside they kept it right in the middle of the field did a great job seeing it going and getting it being aggressive you got to find a different way maybe to attack these guys to use their speed beat against him and the running game has gone in the wrong direction the offense tries to turn it around and go forward on third down and he's not going to make it the defense denying him the first down and I'm a fan of this man run the football eat the clock we got the lead this offense has put together a nice day man like just balance Rhythm timing play calling everything is worked that's why they built this lead they've had a great day today the buffalos will call on their punt team and that one will Sail Out of Bounds no chance for a return there offense making it back to pass it's Bowers complete the first down pass complete to the back no game on the Play brings up second down this offense has a second down play he's looking to throw coming after him and the sack all the way back at the five and man is that a just indictment of the day your quarterback getting drilled late in the football game this offense has sputtered they haven't found any kind of good Rhythm they haven't done things that that really gives your coach confidence and makes you want to believe in them this offense has a lot of work to do for their next football game not exactly the ideal situation for this offense third and long back up inside their 20 looking to throw and he needs a chunk play the Heat got to him and he just sort of frows and got tackled in the end zone for a safety and that kind of sums up the day for this offense I mean nothing has really gone your way now you give up the safety tell you what this team's got a lot of work to do over this next week to get better to improve this was a bad day they'll boot it away from their own 20 after taking the safety he'll call for the fair catch here Colorado has the ball back and the buffalo's hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense now the chance to take a knee and just put the finishing touches on this victory yeah and this offense has done their job man they've been so productive built the lead listen their defense has pulled their weight as well but now Jesse you get to Exhale you get to breathe and you know we got the W and we played well and we got to think about where we're taking our girlfriend and parents for dinner right what side are we ordering with our giant stake we've earned it in this game now it's time to go celebrate
